top specs at half price. better than the s7 edge

looks like apple copied them with no headphone jack

  • +1

That's some amazing specs for the price. The new Xiaomi???

    • +1

Hmm interesting actually . Is this camera as good as the xiaomi one that has the Sony one? (open Question to anyone that can answer)

      • -6

also like xiaomi, riddled with adware malware etc.

        • What?

        • The apple fan is strong

        • I've been using this phone since November 2016. Flashed Indian ROM and it works great. I am not sure where you get your adware and malware from? There were a few Indian video apps but I uninstalled it straight away. Since then I havent had any problem with it.

    • cpu speed is not the be all and end all. Is the OS any good (or is a decent CM13 port available)? Is the GPS solid? Hows its touchscreen - accurate? Is the phone stable? Ive used a few high powered Chinese phones that turned out useless because of their shortcomings.

Is this with proper shipping or the 6 weeks wait?

  • If only this phone is fully compliant on the Optus network… Oh well, the search for a phone bargain continues…

    • Yes this is very important piece of spec to keep in mind. I got my mi max thinking it will be just no 4g network in my area, but 3g should still work. It turned out that I have no network coverage at all and it always gives me a red cross with no reception. The phone is not usable at all when I'm home, at work, it is perfect with 4g coverage… Damn

  • Pity no band 28
Has this got nfc? Or memory card slot?

  • no microsd…I will stick with my pptv king 7 thanks…

    • pptv king 7 is the secret winner, and cheap as for what it is

      • +2

i know right…it's a hidden gem of a phone for it's price. I've been using that as my daily driver, absolutely awesome. Mind you I was on the LG G4 before this, and the King 7 feels just as responsive and got the same awesome screen resolution (2K).

But the biggest selling point for me is the 6" 2K screen and ESS audio DAC which makes my Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro (80ohm) sing! :)

        • Interesting looking phone

6" is massive though! But it looks like it has bloody incredible specs.

NFC? Rootable? Custom ROM? Good camera?

        • +1

          Holy crap.

That phone is nuts for the price.

As long as you have big hands

        • @illumination:
seems no NFC, no finger print

        • @illumination: no nfc, rootable, and custom roms. Camera is usable but no S7 of cos…but king 7 is like less than half of the Le max 2… (sorry OP)

        • @Jamesx: I'd be worried if it came with snapdragon 820 + fingerprint + NFC + 6GB RAM + 2k + 6" screen for less than half of the phone on this deal…

        • @quietsarcasm: it is nuts mate…I've been promoting this phone amongst techie friends and they are all intrigued by this hidden gem

I should ask them to give me commission hahahaa

but no seriously this phone has utterly changed my view on china phones (this was my 1st ever, I was used to the main brands like Sammy and LG). If it last me at least 1yr I think I would buy another chinese one when i wanna upgrade…I'm truly converted!! :)

        • +1

@homersyd: If the next phone is awful is it going to utterly change your view back?

        • @homersyd:

Are you saying King 7 sells for A$175? If so, where? And wondering, will it work with Virgin Mobile? Thanks mate!

        • Yeah also interested where you bought this man! Sounds like a dream come true.

For the price it is crazy but jist did some research and the performance difference is about double compared to this phone.. And only 3gb ram.. So while it has a bigger screen and cheaper price no deal for me. You certainly get what you pay for.

        • nml

        • @homersyd: Do you run a custom rom? Was it easy to install?

        • +1

@honfaai: I bought it from banggood like what @Titus Canby said…and I'm actually using virgin myself, reception for me is fine (metro sydney).

        • +1

@Alphabet-soup: no i run stock, which already had playstore installed

        • +2

@AlienC: I guess u meant king 7 has half the performance of this LeMax, but depends on what you need.
I consider myself is a power user (install and runs lots of apps/games), and it's still plenty fast for daily apps/games/youtube general usage.

The big screen + ESS DAC + fast enough CPU + 3GB RAM suits my needs, I doubt u will see that much performance difference between King 7 and the higher end LeMax. The performance difference is mainly seen during benchmarks.

        • @Titus Canby: why not submit as a new post? A place to discuss it.

        • Does the King 7 support Dual SIM + microSD card at the same time?

I found this in the specs, which suggests no.

Dual SIM: Micro SIM + NANO SIM / TF-card
(One other SIM slot can in combination with one NANO-SIM card or One TF Card Be Used)

I've only found Motorola phones (e.g. Moto 4G, Moto X Style) which have slots for two SIMs and a separate slot for microSD card.

    How's its camera like?

  • +6

This phone has better specs than my laptop

  • Waterproof?

    • +7

Yes waterproof and can fly as well if you throw with correct angle.

      • lol

  • -2

cheaper before, pink color and 2gb less mem though

    • +1

and half the storage (32gb instead of 64gb) though

    • This is a good price for 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM.. Cant get any cheaper.
