i wonder where is the original box that came with it? Why are they not sending it with the original box???

  • Comes in a box but not iPhone box… something stinks with this listing… will be digging deeper…

    BRAND NEW NEVER NEW

    Do they mean never nude?

    • There are dozens of us!

If it doesn't come in an Apple box it's not a new phone. Refurbished and destined for another country bought cheap.

    • Not sure,

Found the ABN. Asked 2 question of the seller as to making sure it was geniune and queried when the activation date for warranty purposes was. Once it arrives if I find out he lied straight to consumer affairs I go. Although his feedback is what gave me confidence…

      • I have an ABN and ACN but carry on no business. Aussie stock means they have it in hand already and not coming from overseas. It is not an Australian sourced Apple approved new phone. The seller supplies the warranty not Apple. Not trying to dissuade you or anyone else, just understand what you're really getting.

and if its not what you thought it was when it arrives… and you get onto consumer affairs..
        what happens then..?
        - are you 100% sure you are going to get your money back?
        - how long would this process take?

are you sure saving $100 warrants the headache, time and dissatisfaction.

not endorsing anything just taking it for face value.

Been looking for a new iPhone for my wife

You know you should never give your wife a mobile phone, leads to nothing but trouble?

    • Hopefully she doesn't discover the code C10 on it… :P

    • I thought you were gonna say it was a good trade?

  • Looks like trouble

You would kinda hope so if its brand new

  • too good to be true then it is NOT good

  • "We are Australian local seller. However, for some items with limited Australian stock, please note that if the requested item runs out of stock in our warehouse, overseas stock may be sent out to the customer. Should you have any concern about this, please feel free to contact us."

    • Contacted them. They confirmed local stock.

sounds like bennybubble forgot to tick the "I'm associated" box as well

Not even close, to be honest if this deal gets rubbished it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. Just thought i'd share as I purchased one today and thought it was a good price Archi.

  • Becareful of refurbished iPhones as if they had a screen or home button change, the fingerprint sensor might not work unless its refurbished by apple warranty.

  • have to say: dodgy

No one in their right mind would ever sell a "new" iPhone without it's box. Hundreds immediately drop of the value. There is no way that these are new brand new, unencumbered phones.

    No box = not new.
    Bulldust listing.
    Don't trust them.

Well. Looks like I might have walked into the lions den. Will play guinea pig and provide feedback when it arrives Thursday.

      Sorry BB,
I hope my comments were not too blunt. I was out on the road when I wrote that and I didn't read it closely enough to realise that you had bought one. I really hope it works out for you. I think you should probably take in to an Apple to check its heritage when it arrives.

      • +2

Will be doing. Either way will post an update. On the bright side I ordered today and it's arriving Thursday :P

  • This post is dodgy never dodgy LOL fail

  • BRAND NEW NEVER NEW

So, it's never new, indicating it's used?

This listing stinks. Definitely wouldn't be buying from them.

  • +2

Ok. So it's arrived. Rang apple to confirm the IMEI and they also confirmed it is brand new. I've hit the seller up as the headphones they mailed out aren't compatible (headphone jack not lightning jack). So i'm happy :)

    • Oh and was given a tax receipt as well, GST was charged for TRS.

    • Seller sending replacement headphones by express post. Sometimes we have a win :)
