You have beautiful hands and cuticles, have you ever considered hand modelling?

    • +2

Damn you thats the only reason I clicked on here.

You should totally be a hand model.

      • +4

I dunno, the distal epidermis of the pollex leaves a lot to be desired. But the pollical lunula isn't too shabby.

    • That is the hand of the guy handing out the drinks

      • Do you recognise it?

        • +7

          David Duchovny.

        • Of course, you rarely see such a beautiful hand like that.

    • Haha. You make me laugh. They are my hands and I haven't considered hand modelling.

You need to get your hand a job right now!!

    Free bottle of sugar

    • -1

Actually. . Its 7.5% …so not that bad. They were giving them out in nth syd yesterday.

      • +3

Unless I'm missing something 7.5% is like 75 grams… double the recommend daily intake for men??

        • +2

Yeah.. maybe you shouldnt drink 1l a day.

        • Double the intake, zero fibre, protein or fat to stop instant absorbtion. So it's very bad but that's the typical understanding of these things.

To boot Australian's don't even need the massive amount of fluid every day, the myth that we do is yet another myth created by marketing to sell more "not so bad" sugar water.

The Burger place at North Sydney was giving everyone death stares while they were washing down their burgers with Maximus and not buying drinks. It was pretty funny, but they charge $13 for a slightly above average burger and still get packed to the brim so I'm sure they'll live.

        • Burgers by Josh or Five Points?

        • @blighst:

5 points. Burgers by Josh is amazing. 5 points admittedly I've only had twice, but it was average for the price. Cudos to the server though. While some of the staff looked like they wanted to murder everyone, the guy taking the orders was still nice to everyone. I gather that he's the owner.

        • @GunnerMcDagget:

Is he the Kiwi guy? Yeah had a long chat to him as they were closing. Really nice guy from the short impression I got.

Imo five points does a pretty decent burger but considering its not loaded with stuff I can see how people see it as pricey.

        • @blighst: Yep. That's the guy. My issue with 5 points was that it tasted like average meat and the structure and texture felt like they used bread crumbs and egg, which ruins a lot of the real meat flavour. It could have been a bad batch at the time but it wasn't great compared to some of the others.

Burgers by Josh have a habit of doing crazy burgers that are there purely for burger fantasy, but their meat also tastes really good and their standard burger is awesome.

      • the blue one tastes horrible

like drinking lemon water with some artificial chemically tasting flavouring and no sugar

    • +2

I hope our ex-Speaker and ex-Deputy Speaker declare these gifts if they take one each !!

  • Oh no, I am driving to work today.

I've tried it but didn't like the taste at all, reminds me of cough medicine.

  • Nice freebie at $3 value.

  • Isn't this an Aldi brand?

    • +1

You have this confused for Maxade.

    • No, Frucor, I think. Australian and New Zealand company

  • I clicked for the Dad-Bod

  • I love the flavour options with this brand: blue, red, orange and my favourite… green. Mmmmm

    • Green? I only saw yellow (as well as red, orange and blue) today at Parliament station.

  • Bottled drinks are a major contributor to killing our planet.
It took every bit of my usual ozbargain trained willpower to resist something for free.
    But I did resist.

They were also giving them outside of the CGU building (near cnr of Williams and Bourke st) in Melbourne

  • At central left in on my way out for some?

  • When does it finish?

  • Got it in the morning. Took me a whole day to finish it. I could drink 6L of water but not this type of stuff. I appreciate their generosity tho. The taste was good too.

  • I Had a red one in QLD for free a while backk.. Flavour (Tomato Sauce) it was yuck! =p but I still drank it

  • I've been hunting them today in Melbourne and just found them at the corner of Exhibition St and La Trobe st, Melbourne CBD 😀
