    How much are they normally?

This is a complete waste of time. Crap experience.

    Once bitten never again

Why walk me through your experience plz

      Once bitten never again

      Who bit you?

Did you report it to OHS?

      • I just reported it as an OHS issue.

      I dunno, I enjoyed it.

“There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.”

      • -5

Think you'll find the saying is actually "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

        Dunno what crap you're spinning

That was a quote by George W Bush

          @WaywardOne:

          Lol, well that explains it!

        • @bricabrac89: I think that was one of Dubya's smarter moments in some ways (though it obviously didn't look like it at the time). I suspect he was halfway through that sentence when he realised there was going to be footage of him saying "shame on me". That would be used in every Democrat attack ad from that point forward, so he attempted to salvage it.

      • LOL I remember that

  • It's a fine view. Same as an skyscraper view; whether or not you like the scenery is up to you. Personally, it's a nice visit and a great way to kick off an out of town guests' visit.

  • Eureka sky deck has 2 for 1 tickets almost throughout the year. It's also available through the entertainment book.

  • Are they doing fireworks in winter? Was hoping to see that from the tower last year, but never made it.

    $9 last year
    $10 this year

By that logic I guess it'll be $11 next year, $12 the year after and so on

Once they are 20 years old I guess they'll advertise tickets at the standard price for their 20th birthday!

That said, on a good clear day, it is a good view.

  • its a better view than the skywheel at docklands and your only the skywheel($30) for time period where as eureka you can be there all day

We went last year. Wasn't expecting much but really enjoyed it.
Spent about 2 hours up there in the end.

If anyone is tossing up between this or melbourne star I would recommend going on eureka sky deck.

Melbourne star is 30mins from start to finish
Eureka sky deck you can stay up there as long as you want and the view is much better, there are toilets and I think free wifi so a very good deal for overseas visitors.

  • An alternative will be using the 50% off Adrenaline GC to purchace the tickets, which also gives u that amount of discount.

    • where are these available ?

      • U mean Adrenaline GCs? Usually Woolworths and Coles sell it at half price. I have used it to purchace the Skydeck & Edge experience before (originally $32 @ Adrenaline, paid $16 in AUD at last).

I loved it, make sure you go out into the glass floored room and lie on the floor and look straight down :D

  • +1

Is it good for taking photos of the city of night or do you get a lot of glare / reflections?

    • Unfortunately you get a fair amount of both unless you're situated on the balcony outside. Then you have to contend with the protective net that's in place so people don't use it as a… diving platform.

    done! :)
