          @tajid: Based on the info here I'd say the receipt is eligible for TRS. There may be some confusion at the store's end as to what is required for TRS.

          @MrT15: Yup i'm pretty certain that's not TRS-able given the GST amount isn't included in the amount paid. You DID NOT pay for GST for this purchase therefore nothing to refund.

          I just purchased from them on this deal. Yes it is australian stock with australian ac adaptor. I also had another s8 from woolworth mobile which is aus stock. I have comapared 2 phones.. Everything is exactly the same from 2 phones :

          @tarken: Exactly like I literally quoted him saying he DID NOT pay for the GST (as it's not included in total price paid). You can't get refund for something you didn't pay….

          But given prices just went up they might have adjusted the new invoices to include GST amount.

    Was able to get a price match at Officeworks by showing them a copy monitha's recipt. They said normally they wouldn't price match ebay, however, since someone had already gotten a price match, they said they would do it for me.

      Yeah very strange that they would markdown a local non grey stock then sell grey at RRP. Anyway I got my 8+ today.. It came with AU charger as stated. Very fast shipping.. The only thing was that toll left the parcel on my doorstep.

    I just received an email offer of $100 cash back when you activate a new sim. The offer is a bit confusing as it says "not redeemable for cash" but then also says "Rebates will be processed as a partial refund of the original payment method on orders placed at https://vaya.net.au/".

    Does that mean I get $100 back via ebay or just $100 off the phone plan? They have a 1 month $16 plan so $84 profit?

    Managed to price match this today (1/6) at JB hifi in Perth using the receipt from office works posted here. Picked it up for $978. pretty happy!
