      They are awesome but after a year of use the battery deteriotes severely, from full battery, I'll get under 30 minutes of music on medium volume.

      Didn't like the sound when I bought them for my PC. Too boomy and sound wasnt that clear for movies, games or songs.

      I kept reading on how great the Logitechs are, so I went got myself the audioengines.

      Unsure if I should use it as a pc speaker or replace my Sony soundbar based on how good it is.

    I got some recently and was actually a bit disappointed in the sound. After reading all the rave reviews i was probably expecting too much. The Missus is very impressed though.

    These speakers aren't that great for using with your TV as there is no remote. Annoying when you're in bed and it keeps switching between loud and quiet as some content does.

      These speakers aren't that great for using with your TV as there is no remote.

      Why can't you connect them to the headphone out of your TV, then you can use the remote?

          Can't see why not. The standard input would be a 3.5mm jack as it's designed as multimedia computer speakers.

          Of course, as long as the TV has headphone out.

          Using my 2.1 PC speakers on my TV via headphone, TV remote works fine and mutes and turns volume up/down.

    Bought for my TV, thanks Hamza.

    Was a bit worried there wouldn't be enough distance between the satellites to sit on each side of a 55" TV, but the left speaker uses an RCA connector which should be easy to extend.

    If I run into any problems it's Hamza's fault.

      I'll get downvoted but I own them and regret the purchase, but can't be bothered trying to flip them. Much prefer my X-530 and X-540 5.1 speakers. Louder, with only a little less doof. Nicer mids and highs.

    Brought these thumpers (can I say that here? If not sorry, please edit) back in the glory years of the 80's.. came home with a set of these and 3 new sets of fluro-dyed shirts - The missus was beyond happy, we retreated to what we can refer to as my sweaty love-shack (after of course swapping the old ice cubes for some fresh ones infront of the fan).. what was I saying? Oh, yeah, the speakers.

    I hooked the missus up to the bed and proceeded to hook the speakers up to my 'system' (you fellas know) and f*k me, you could hear what johnny farmhand had for dinner the night before, it was true blue sound at a warm VB price.

    Speakers are pretty good at this price I'd give them about a 2.3/5.

    Got my Z623 speakers yesterday and hooked them up to my Sony 55" TV via 3.5mm stereo.

    Must admit, the bass on these things is a huge improvement over my Z5500 Logitechs which have really sloppy bass and sound better with it turned down to 80Hz.

    Have the bass on full with these and it sounds great, bass is really tight.

    Speakers are plugged into a mains switch remote, now all I need is a Logitech Harmony Elite so I can control everything with the one remote (hint).
