    • +1

      agreed

    • +1

      But their name is bestforapple…

      Conflict of interest..? Haha

  • +3

ok ok, I'm finally buying one. Thanks!

    • +2

      Nice. You won't regret it!

  • +1

Definitely on the verge..how is the seller's reputation? In case of product issues, will we have to pay shipping for returns etc., will this be fixed locally in Australia?

    • +3

If product have quality problems, we will issue Pre-paid return label. Item will fix very quickly or get replacement.

      • +1

        thanks rep bought one..

        • damn shopmonk is offering this for 339$ now..

  • +2

REP: please change your username dont make android users hate you

    • +3

Haha! We used that username since we start our ebay business at 2009. Android is really powerful now, I have one MI 6 as well, I am part of your Clan.

  • +1

Would this make a good mother's day gift?

    • +5

Yes, so long as you don't order it from Roboguy.

      • +1

        Can I ask why?

EDIT: Nevermind. Saw the negative reviews further down.

    • +1

no this is a good fathers day gift so father doesnt have to help mother with vacumming floors

  • +1

but will my neato be jealous …war of the Robots will begin.

  • +1

I am thinking of getting this for my office but… does this robot talk in chinese, or can you program it to talk in english? I have an LG roboking at home and it says things like "charging begin", "looking for the home station", etc.

    • +2

There's an english sound pack which you download.

      • +1

        download pack? really~~~
does it have also cute sexy anime girls sound pack?

        • +2

No it doesn't. Don't get too excited, the suction isn't that powerful.

  • +1

just bought it! hopefully goes well. How does this go with pet fur?

    • +2

Good at picking it up. You'll probably want to run a cycle at least every few days though. I find that my cat sheds enough fur in 3 days to fill the dust basket completely.

      • +1

        tplen1
With my cat "a Bengal" I need to run it ever 2 days. Picks up well. When he goes on access, I only need to Vacuum Twice a week. Great vacuum, I have Ordered one for my mother.

  • Hi Rep

Silly me just placed the order but I forgot to apply the ebay 10% code :( Can you please cancel my order and I will reorder? (I've sent you a message with the particulars).

    • +2

Please send ebay message to request cancel your order and re-order with coupon code.

    • +2

Cancel and refund. Feel free to reorder with coupon code.

      • +1

        Thanks Rep, done and done!

  • +2

Can't recommend this product and seller highly enough. My Mi vacuum is just finishing off my house now, love tracking it from work knowing I'll come home to clean floors :)

  • +1

No deal on the replacement parts or virtual wall yet?

Edit: Actually just saw the $50 so will be $45 as long as i find other stuff. Its $25 from various chinese sellers but that doesn't include the virtual wall does it? And they are about $15? So $5 premium for AU location is pretty good?

And no better deal on the Mi Box?

    • +2

Yes, that is the best price we can do at this moment with genuine xiaomi brand accessories. We still work on better deal for accessories, it may take a while.

      • +1

Thanks for replying. I think the price might work out pretty well anyway. Will do some research.

Still hoping on a mi box around the $80 mark. Happy with a $10 premium for stock in au. Seems about $70 from gear best etc.

  • +1

How good is this on light coloured carpet flooring?

  • +1

How do these compare suction wise to a Dyson stick? Are these more for convenience than actual suction power? I'm trying hard to convince myself I need one but have a V6 absolute already plus a regular old corded Dyson.

    • +2

      Slave1
I have Dyson DC 22 Corded. I have not used it since I got my Xiaomi Mi Robot. I have asthma, so It house is not clean "I will have a reaction" This Vacuum gets into place that I find it hard to access with the Dyson. I have two large Rugs, and hops up on them. Cleans them well.

      • +1

Thanks for that. I too have asthma and also two dogs that are inside for most of the time and i'm constantly grabbing the stick for quick vacuums so this should be good to set up and only think about the occasional bigger clean when needed. Think i'll bite!

  • +1

    Just got one…. Thanks

  • -3

good stuff now REP please follow up and make sure everyone got their robot in the reasonable timeframe we dont want another roboguy fail part 2

  • Is wifi a necessity to set up up and control it?

    • +1

No, wifi is not needed. I took it out of the box, turned it off and off it goes. WIFI is only needed if you want to change the language pack or track its movement through the Mi Home app.

  • +1

How does this go with lots of furniture like dining table and chairs? Can it get between the legs and under the table or do you put the chairs up?

My whole house is floorboards and I have a hairy dog who sheds. Every little hair is noticeable so I would need to vac every second day.

    • skyva, Depending on how wide chair legs are. It goes in and out of mine with no problem. It gets close to chair legs, runs around them with side Brushes. It does not damage Furniture. I have decluttered my house to make it easier. Gets stuff I did not think possible. When I first got it. I Had a dead fly next to skirting board "where the carpet starts" I did not think it would get it. It did. Yes, Vacuum every day with boards and pets. It will even feel cleaner.

Bought at 11.30am this morning and by 1.40pm it looks to be shipped out and I have received tracking code. Shame RobUguy is too busy flogging off his excess vacuums to see how a good seller should operate!

    • mademan43567, RobUguy only has 67 more to flog off. I checked this Morning.

      • +1

He's selling them on Ebay too with the Pearler code! About $30 cheaper than this deal but there's no chance he's getting any money from me.

Has any existing mi Robot Cleaner owners got a message that their robot cleaners want to apply for one day leave today? Because it's their first birthday today.

Needless to say, I turn down the request. What's next, a pay rise? LOL

    • jayzee, Not yet, what server are you using. I Just changed mine to US "Singapore" It was China before.

      • +1

        Mine is on Chinese server.

        • +1

          jayzee,
          Thanks

    • +1

Next is public holiday leave on Chinese New Year.

  • +1

Thanks Rep. Decided to jump aboard the Mi train! So many great reviews about this (and the seller) that I couldn't ignore it any longer. Being a house husband with two kids under 6 and two shedding dogs, this will save lots of time.

  • +1

One question rep - does this come with an AU adaptor?

    • +2

Slave1, It Does Not. Just need a good US to AU adapter, or one of these. Just Click AU Plug on Selection. And which color you want to buy http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Blitzwolf-High-Speed-AC-Power-Cab…

      • +2

Thanks, again! I prefer the figure 8 cord rather than a plug sticking further out from the powerpoint.

Edit: Would rather get something local to avoid the wait - would this work just as well?

        • +2

Yep, thats the one i'd buy.

        • +1

          Slave1,
Yes, that will Work. I am no where near Office Works. In the Bush. Good find :)

        • +1

@megod: Cheers :) I actually just remembered I have a spare Blitzwolf 5 port charger that I can use the cable from for the time being. I wonder whether a white cord from the vacuum dock to the wall will look better or black…

        • Is it just me or does that one have bad reviews?

        • @Slave1:
That's how I found the cable, fits like a Glove. White looks better, but just personal Choice.

  • +1

Can you get an AU power adapter for this, or does it require a US>AU adapter?

    • psy,
      No. Answer is Above

  • +1

Just bought one. Hope it's as good as you guys say!

  • +2

Hi Rep, How long is the Virtual wall, magnetic tape in the accessories item?
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/182723374709

    • +2

      2m

  • +1

I finally bought one because of all the praise this store is getting

    • idonotknowwhy,
Very good store, you wont be disapointed :)

      • +1

        They've already shipped it out!

  • +1

missed it :( will have to wait next round

  • +1

Amazing Service!!! just ordered one y'day and today got the notification from Australia Post that my item is ready for collection ….. good stuff!!

  • +1

Any chance this deal can be extended?
I didn't notice the deal till too late. I'd have to buy from an overseas seller to get a similar price to the above.
I'm in Melbourne and would be happy to support a local shop if the deal is available again.
    Thanks.

    • +2

It was a deal due to an ebay code so can't be extended.

I think there is another ebay deal starting Monday so just wait until then.

  • You think correctly ;)
Gearbite (Ebay) does it again for $349.15 (with the AU plug this time): https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/327579
