Why buy g6 or g6 plus now when v30 release around the corner… ? if anything the price of these phones will drop further and you know there will be another ebay sale.

When is the V30 expected to release?
Hi, hoping someone can help. Recently purchased an LG G6 (shipped but not received) from HK and the MPU according to the deal is H870.
It says that it is dual sim, 64GB and is coming from HK, but I thought that H870 is only 32GB and is euro, and that the H870DS is the HK version.
Wondering if either a typo or if there is a different variant of H870 that is dual sim and 64GB?

I think that "DS" stands for Dual SIM. Also the eBay site states that is has Quad DAC which I believe the European version does not have. So when you bought "LG G6 64GB H870 Dual Sim" you should be getting "H870DS" with the above features (64 GB ROM, Quad DAC, Dual SIM).

I think you'll get the H870DS, which has a dual sim and a quad DAC (amazing feature that more than makes up for the lack of wireless charging in this model). As far as I'm aware all the ebay sellers selling the HK units are selling the H870DS model.
Thanks for the response. I do prefer that model, with the eu model, apparently you get it for easy bootloading(?) but I don't need that.
I just read the specs, that is a lot of phone fir under $500 compared to Samsung equivalents.
Compared to IPhone …. well that is android vs IOS so apples and oranges but if you are after an android phone, what boxes doesn't it tick for under $500?
The G6 is probably the best value for money phone at the moment. The only option on the H870 model I would have liked is wireless charging (Quad DAC doesn't do much for me).
