The Book of Mormon, Melbourne $65 Tickets via TicketMaster

1860

Normally around $100-$140, so it's roughly half the full price.

Bloody Amazing Show, I just bought more tickets to watch it again.

There are good seats available, (I managed to snare some Gold Reserve Seats) from tomorrow to the 30th of November.

There are also $50 tickets available at the following URL if you want to sit in the Grand Circle. Kudos to Qwerty:

    …watch it again

Maybe cheaper to spend the $$$ elsewhere

    • +1

It's really one of those "you've gotta see it to believe it" sort of things

      • You can watch most of it online but i think its chinese showing so some of the jokes like the generals name has changed and one of the song is missing

There's also a book of mormon "lottery". Go to the theatre 2 hours before opening. If your name gets drawn, you can buy tickets for $40 ea.

There appears to be an option for rush bookings online.

      http://www.ticketmaster.com.au/the-book-of-mormon-melbourne-…

select $40 Rush on the drop down. The current ones appear to be in the grand circle.

      • I had no idea! Aladdin also have online 'lottery' tickets, but they sell for $50. A quick google should bring it up.

        • Oooh I didn't know that, thanks for sharing.

      • +1

        What are Rush tickets?

        • +1

Rush tickets are tickets they are looking to sell before the performance begins, so they sell them off cheap (because some money is better than no money). Often these are simply single seats and are up in the Grand Circle

      • I also see $20 + (9 bf) seats in the grand circle. Does anyone know what the view would be like?
This is for tomorrow btw, rush tix seem to be for the next couple days only, at a time.

        • They are fairly high up, Imagine you're on the 2nd/3rd floor of a building looking down. Google some pictures of Princess Theatre online and you can judge for yourself

      • If this is not working for anybody, Ticketmaster is a bit dodgy with cookies, open in the link in 'Incognito Mode/InPrivate' for me $20 dollar Rush ticket offer came up.
        Thanks.

Or just invite the missionaries in for a chat - that's free!

    • +5

And it's free to see them again as well :-)

      • I've actually been charging them a door fee!

        • Asking for more copies of the Book of Mormon?

  • +3

I've seen this show and it's fantastic. I will buy this if I live in Melbourne. "I believe".

    Ding dong

If people haven't seen Orgazmo it is well worth getting hold of.

Woot. Almost bought tickets the other day for $178. Just paid $65 for basically the same seats.

  • Saw it in London. Great show. Well worth a watch.

  • This is going to make some people mad.

    • +3

Not the 'blow up' type of people so it's ok.

    • +1

The content of the show or this discounted price?

  • +3

    https://showbiz.com.au/event/book-of-mormon

$50 tickets anytime for the grand circle

    • Nice find! :) I'll put it up as well

    • +1

What kind of seats are the Grand Circle? Do u get a good view? Or is it better to go with the other seats?

      • +2

You are right at the top but view is ok - but for $17 extra if you can snag some really expensive seats id do that - aim for the middle as a couple jokes are characters cameoing from the sides and at my showing you would have missed it on every level unless you sat towards the middle.

        • What about Row B in the GC? I can see $20 tix for tomorrow. Devastated that I have a conference at the same time…

    Hasa Diga Eebowai!

    Thanks! Going this Friday!

  • +1

Thanks, been wanting to see it. Grabbed two tickets in row G in the stalls for the matinee show on the last Sunday in November.

  • Any chance this will be on during December?

    • I would like to know the same thing!

    • +1

I reckon it will depend on their supply/demand. The show is extremely popular with rave reviews. Right now there must be slightly less demand for them hence the discounted tickets but as soon as December hits the holidays are in session so it might get a little busier. I would recommend trying to get it now imo but I will be on the lookout if they do discount it

  • +1

Thank you for the tip! Got some decent seats row E in the stalls for $65 each!

  • Thanks!!!!!!! Row F :)

  • +1

I have to read it twice. I thought it says "The book of Moron". Got me interested and it looks like a good show.

    • It's made by the South Park creators if you are into their sort of humor :)

  • +1

    Got one,thanks
Been waiting for the discounted tix since july

  • The only seats for $67 is the restricted seating. I don't want to sit behind a pillar.

    • +1

Make sure you click on the link I provided via the Go To Deal

  • +1

Thanks so much op! Got near front centre, midweek ticket.
I've been waiting most of this year for a sale.
Almost gave up and was planning to buy full price so I didn't miss out.
Op, you've saved me big bucks!

    • +1

No worries, hope you enjoy the show :)

  • +2

Hello.. my name is Elder Price

  • -3

Book of Morons - Whats that about??

  • Thanks OP, been waiting a long time for such a deal :-)
The seating I got would have cost $278 in mid December … so a definite bargain.

  • +1

Thanks OP, bought two tickets for Saturday night.

The 18c cashback got me over the line ;)

  • +1

Thanks OP Just got great seats for bargain price as advertised.

  • +1

Thanks, been wanting to see for ages, managed to save about $180 between 2 tickets!

  • +1

Thank you very much OP! I was planning to go see this anyway, but was just lazy and hadn't booked yet, this was a great incentive to book. Cheers!

  • There is an option for $20 rush ticket. But it can only be viewed when using mobile site. I tried on my laptop, not showing the $20 rush tix. Then used my mobile phone, it’s there.

Like other’s comment the $20 rush tix might be available only for a limited period (up to 3 days from the booking time) - I didn’t bother to check it because I am going to watch it this midweek:) thanks heaps op, I got $20 tix.

    • Might be just your laptop? I'm the other comment, and I'm on my laptop.

Do tell us where you're sitting and what the view is like, I'm hoping to go again next week.

      • +1

At grand circle seat number between 7-15, so not really in the middle section. But it’s unrestricted view:) can see the whole stage and nothing to be missed, ‘I belieeeveeeee!!!’ Catchy song btw;)

  • +1

Cheers! Got tickets for row F!

  • Just booked 6 tickets at $20 for Thursday night! Successfully on a laptop, didn't need to use my phone.

    • You might need your binoculars on the night though :) I do agree that $20 is worth the punt - even if the vision is dodgy the sound should be good.

  • +1

Thanks OP. These will do nicely for the wife's birthday!

  • +1

Awesome deal thanks so much for posting. Got great seats - listed as premium - stalls row L in the middle. Very happy!

  • +1

Thanks OP, got stall seats row H! very excited to go see it

  • +1

I went for dress circle row E.. Hopefully the view is okay.. Thought that might be better than stalls.. Looking down as opposed to looking up at the stage.. Maybe?

  • +1

Cheers OP, got two for tonight, original ticket prices seems to be around $330 each, saved $530!

  • +1

Went last night and the show is fantastic. Very funny and great music. Really high energy. Got row D in the stalls right in the middle. Thought I might be too close but it was good to see the actors faces close up.

  • +1

We went Friday night and you could could sense the ozbargain demographic around us. Very funny squeezing into our sheets and seeing two mobiles with ozbargain pages open. I was sure to give the knowing look. The show was awesome and so was the crowd except for the Seven foot tall colossus wobble head in front of us who thought it was a good idea to spend the night looking at his phone, leaving and returning past 20 patrons mid show and giving his boyfriend pecks on the cheek every five minutes. If your reading… you really messed with quite a few people's night. And please pm me so I can send you a belt. It is hard to push past so many people with you pants around your knees. Yes you were in F13-14.
    Arggggh.

  • +1

Thanks, OP. I had forgotten this was on my to do list and couldn't pass at this price. I watched it last weekend and really enjoyed the show :)

To the short ass muppet sitting behind me during the show who kept arggghing all the way through the show. Please pm me so I can send you some strrepsils, as obviously you have a frog in your throat left behind by Joseph Smith ;)
