So conflicted. I've wanted a fitbit with inbuilt gps and music for ages and there's some good deals atm. but i only just bought the Charge 2 this year and the Ionic pricetag is crazy. The sales are great atm but dunno if im leaning towards buying solely for that reason
Sell your charge and get the Ionic. I own both and the upgrade is worth it.
If you look around, for a similar price you can get a apple watch
I have both and I am selling my apple watch. To me, the data collected in fitbit worth more than the convenience of apple watch.
Does anybody know if the GPS is accurate on this model?
I have the charge 2 and when using the phone for GPS, its wrong buy about 10% distance. (eg a 5km run is recorded as 4.6km)

GPS won't be 100% accurate. Some watches will be better than others though.
I can't understand the point of the so call "GPS connected" feature on the Fitbit Charge 2 if you have to carry your phone anyway you may as well use a fitness app on it.
