I may be looking at my new sous vide bath

Stunner of a deal. As a tradie, these are the only sort of coolers I buy and usually cost around $40 -50. I'll get a couple in at this price.

  • -1

When you add it to your cart it comes up at $34.95, not $10 :(

    • +5

Bunnings dont have a cart, did you physically go to store?

      • I meant 'add to store order'. Maybe it isn't available at my store. I'll go in tomorrow & look. Thanks.

        • Keep us posted mate. I'd be interested to know if this is nationwide. Shows up as 34.95 for my store as well.

        • +2

@AussieB: Can confirm these are $10 at the Balcatta (WA) store. About 12-15 still on display just inside the main entrance (next to the main floor display of outdoor furniture, gazebos etc).

    • Cant add to cart, only 'wish list'

  • Awesome, hopefully in stock tomorrow.

    Organ Transplanting FTW

  • I got one of this and it doesn't seal very well. It's only for temporary cooling. And it gets dirty hard to clean it off. But for $10 it's a good deal.

    • It's a plastic tub with padded cloth around it…it will never perform as well as a traditional cooler.

      • +1

You can pull the plastic tub out and clean it easily. Hand wash the surround. Too easy.

  • Thanks!

  • I have the smaller one of these and it's great. Take it everywhere is so handy.

  • None at Ellenbrook WA.

    • Just got one from the Belmont Bunnings (WA), there's still about 10+ left

If you enter through the main entrance and turn left, then continue straight towards the outside garden section. You'll see a stack of them on the left before you reach the doors to the outside garden.

There's no price tag or labels but they scan out at $10

  • picked 1 up from Mandurah WA tonight. Last one but they said they will bring another pallet load down tonight for tomorrow.
Will use it on my drive back to Melbourne

Will use it on my drive back to Melbourne

Probably would have been cheaper to buy one at full price in Victoria by the time you pay costs to get to WA!

  • Which aisle are these in?

    • +1

This sorta stuff is usually on the racking shelves near the barbecue displays.

    • +1

They were stacked right at the front near the checkouts at my local bunnings, plenty left.

  • Mine came with a freezer block which sits in the bottom, and I keep a permanent set of cutlery, knife, bottle opener, BBQ lighter, BBQ sauce sachets, KFC towelets etc in the pocket

    • perfect post-apocalypse survival kit

  • Anyone know of greater sydney area stores with stock?

Wollongong and Warrawong both are sold out.

  • Thanks OP. Just snagged 3 at Toombul in Brisbane. There were only 2 remaining and the staff guy said he was going to get one. Good Post.

  • +1

None left in Penrith area. Bit irritating that I noticed a staff member walk out with 3 last night. He paid for them of course but I suspect quite a few ended up that way.

  • Just picked up the only one on the shelf in Toowoomba South. Might check out Toowoomba North this afternoon.

  • No stock left anywhere in Sydney

    • Every store? :(

    • How do you know this?

      • +5

I rang around. They may say they have stock on their computer thingy, but there are NONE physically in store. For example, Mascot said they have 42, Ashfield said they have 37, Greenacre 9, Bankstown 13. Call and be transferred to lifestyles, and they will not find a single one.

Their computers apparently do not update inventory stock immediately.. There is a week delay (WTF??)

        Good luck

Fair enough. I would still check in store if people could be bothered.

The other day we went to Toys R Us specifically for a certain kiddie pool. Went to the pool section and we couldn't see it. Asked a staff member, he checked the system which said 26 units but he could obviously see they weren't there too. I asked perhaps they were out the back? He said he would check. He came back and said they are all still on the pallets to be placed on the floor, he said for safety reasons he couldn't get one for me, said to come back next week or try another store.

Wasn't happy, but wasn't going to bother arguing.

Started walking out, and they were all stacked up at the front of the store near the registers!

@John Kimble: Understood. I went in physically to Greenacre and Ashield. Nowhere to be seen so not going to waste my time.

Clutching at straws here. Good luck to everyone.

        • There was around 8 left at Randwick an hour ago, near the Frenchmans Rd entrance. Photo

        • You might need to visit Bunnings around the northern side. Maybe start with Rydalmere, Carlingford, etc.

See my post below. Got mine from Thornleigh, they might have more there, didn't bother to ask coz I'm in hurry trying to beat the traffic.

        • @Yummy: Thanks guys. good to see some stock but still extremely limited.

    • Picked one from North Parramatta. They have about 10 in stock, just got a new delivery. Looks like it won't help much with this heat, but good for getting home groceries.

Got one of these for I believe $39. Wasn't too unhappy with it for that price, bloody bargain for $10. This isn't your all day esky though, this is more for taking drinks to a 3-4 hour event with the family or for picnics/etc. It's more just a glorified container that will keep things cold for an hour or two, maybe a little more with ice.

    Pros:
Fits 24 cans with space for ice (30 cans is no ice lol, useless)
Food storage shelf at top (pretty neat)

    Cons:
No real insulation - it's the same as those old lunch bags. You'll need ice and need to change it every ~6 hours.
Kinda weird to carry compared to a classic esky - would have much rathered a simple handle instead of a shoulder strap. Shoulder straps are great for cameras, laptop bags, etc… But not for a bulky ~10KG box.

    tl;dr:
It's a glorified family lunch box - not an esky. Still a bargain for $10.

    • Fully agreed.

    • Or You can use it to store Camera, tablet, phone , wallet , key at the bottom, then cans at the top. Very masculine

  • At 11.15am 4 left in Bunnings Melville WA through enterance walk to left side on left

  • Went to Darwin store after lunchtime, there were still more than 10 near entrance.

There's about 50 of them at Mile End SA, up the front of the store. just picked up 3.

  • About 20 at Claremont WA.

  • Dont bother with Thornleigh (Pennant Hill rd) NSW. I broden em all. All 5 bags.

Ps. Giving em away for family and friends, one for myself.

    • Nah man, not jealous at all. Happy for you. Snoozers can't be losers. First in, beet dressed.

        • Rooted

  • any in vic ? preston has none

I'm so disappointed in the new Windsor Garden store. Such a massive store, probably 10 workers all up which is definitely not enough to help customers. Awful awful awful

    • Last time I check they didn't have any in stock nor did modbury. Nearest one that has them is woodville

    • Bunnings Mile End had a whole wall of them. Easily 20-30 yesterday.

    Thanks OP.
Got the last 3 at the Broadmeadows Bunnings!
    Nice deal.

  • Plenty Osborne Park WA.

  • Chatswood Bunnings had heaps in sydney.

  • The Morley store had a couple of unopened boxes, 4 to a box, and Balcatta also had a few on display. May not be the sous vide bath as the wife thinks it will be handy for shopping. I see another trip out in my future.

  • None in the Riverton and Harrisdale stores…

  • 3 left in Blacktown

  • I got one this morning at Cessnock NSW - none left, realised I couldn't submit as a deal, and I've just seen this post. Well done OP.

  • None Today Singleton nsw

  • 25 left at O'Connor Perth

  • What happens when this thing flips over in the boot? Does the lid have a latch or velcro to hold it in place?

    • +1
