As requested I've negotiated the lowest price on this Xiaomi Lamp. This lamp features RGB that allows you to change it's colour and brightness by using the app or touch controls ontop. It can be put into different modes to simulate sunlight or paired with the Mi Band to turn off when you sleep. With Bluetooth and WiFi can be controlled with the Mi Home app or integrated with other Xiaomi products. Also supports Google Assistance, Alexa and IFTTT via the Yeelight App!

It can also be used as the bridge device to pair the Xiaomi Temperature Humidity Thermostat to the rest of the Xiaomi ecosystem for home automation.

Next on sale is a small form factor PC, the VORKE V2 Plus Lite. Similar to a barebone NUC except the RAM and SSD are included. It features an Intel i5-7200 CPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB M.2 SSD, GBe LAN, native 4K decoding, USB 3.1 Type-C, VESA and a spare 2.5" bay for an additional SSD/HDD. Ubuntu comes preinstalled, but you can install Windows or any other operating system.

    It's Xiaomi so….
    Buy now. Think later.

  • +1

    Nice price!

  • +3

Does this work with Google Home? I want to say good night in the lounge and have the lamp turn on in the bedroom.

    • +3

Yep. According to Yeelight it supports Google Assistant, Alexa and IFTTT.

  • +1

FYI, I wouldn't recommend the app - it requests weird permissions and records audio unnecessarily:
    https://medium.com/@slinafirinne/yeelight-the-bluetooth-led-…

    • +5

What that person doesn't realise is that the Yeelight app controls a whole ecosystem of Xiaomi and Yeelight products. Do you know why it might need to record audio? Because Yeelight have a Voice Assistant Smart Speaker just like Google Home.

If you're really paranoid, just deny the permission in Android.

    • +2

It needs the mic for both what Clear has mentioned, but also that it has a music/party mode, where it will pulse/change lights to the music that your phone hears.
Articles like that just spread paranoia :/ do you really think the Chinese Government has nothing better to do than try listen in on you? Haha!

      • "Articles like that just spread paranoia :/ do you really think the Chinese Government has nothing better to do than try listen in on you? Haha!"

Depends who you are and whether you're worth listening to I guess :). There's an army of these various home assistant gadgets, mobile phones, Samsung TVs etc all listening diligently :)

Any chance to get a deal for smart home 5 in 1 system?

    • I'm also waiting for another deal on these again.

  • +1

Hmm do i need another one.. Yes.. Yes I do.

  • +1

It’s been updated? This used to only have Bluetooth I think

    • +1

      Yep Gen 2.

      • +7

Cool. Thanks for making that ‘clear’

Upvoted for making me laugh at the bad pun

        • Upvoted for terrible pun

        • @hogwarts: downvoted for laughing at terrible pun.

Edit: apparently there is a cap on neg votes, and I visited the iPhone X deal recently so I'm all out of negs. Hit me up in about… 14 hours and I'll get you that neg

  • I just ordered this Xiaomi Mijia Bedside Lamp using the advertised coupon code (WQOFIZTI) - the reduced price showed correctly in the cart and checkout process (including paypal) ($41.99 US) however when the order went through it appears to have charged me the "normal" amount of USD $53.99

    • +1

What does it say in My Account > Orders? If it's not the correct amount, PM me your order number and I'll get it fixed up.

"Sorry , the item(s) 388839 [Xiaomi Mijia Bedside Lamp Bluetooth WiFi Connection Touch Control 300Lm 16 Million RGB Color 10W 1700k ~ 6500k - White / Upgraded Version] has/have been sold out, please modify your shopping cart list."

  • Yep, also getting out of stock 😭

  • +2

Out of stock waiting on Banggood price beat reply

  • I ordered Xiaomi Mijia Bluetooth Temperature Humidity Monitor Sensor few days ago and it hasn't been dispatched. Slower than Gearbest when dispatching these days. Rep care to explain?

    • Advertised time is 2-7 days.

    • Mine shipped about 12 hours ago

  • Only 300lm? Seems a bit dim. Any owners comment on brightness?

    • It's a bed side lamp

      • We often read to bedside lamp light so probably not for us

        • It's bright enough to read to. I guess if you have two people it may not be quite bright enough for the person on the other side of the bed to read to though. It's a nice little lamp, works well with the app etc. but I found the RGB colours to be a gimmick I've stopped using after initially playing around with it. It's good to be able to adjust the colour temp and there are built in settings in the app to use if you can't be bothered creating your own.

  • +3

Any chance of more of the lamps added, was super keen for this…

  • went to buy one…. and too late

  • I'd also like someone to comment on the brightness of this when white light is on.

I really want these, simply because they look better than the lamps I have (fitted with yeelights)

    • I have it but it's difficult to comment on how bright. For me it's bright enough. You can easily read in bed with it, don't need full brightness/white light for that. I read with it on a yellow light and about 3/4 brightness. The full brightness white light provides a good level of light for a bedside lamp but it won't flood your room with light.

Yes they look stylish and are compact, works well with the app and easy to set up unlike some other Xiaomi products.

  • No shit, I want these more simply because you have Ron Swanson staring at me.

  • Oos

  • Does this work with the other mijia sensors like the door/window ones? Or would you still need the hub/gateway thing?

  • +5

I'll see if more stock can be allocated tomorrow. You guys are doing a great job at buying up Xiaomi :)

    • +1

And you are doing a great job finding us deals ;)

      • +2

Gotta give some of the credit to the community for the great ideas!

    • Hoping we can get some more stock as well. Thanks Clear!

    • Yes more stock would be great please!!

      • They're back in stock now.

  • +1

Can anyone share how is this powered? I'm assuming not battery, does it come with a cable and is it compatible with Australia power sockets without any adapters?

    • +2

It's AC powered, no battery. Mine came with a cable and AC adapter with US style plug. I'm using it plugged into one of those Xiaomi universal power strips. You will need one of those or an adapter to use it in an Aus power socket.

  • OK, I caved and bought one.

    Well played, Clear

  • Just curious, do you guys pay extra for upgraded shipping and/or insurance? or just take the free option?

    • +1

Depends if you want it to arrive in a month or a couple of weeks.

      • +1

For all the cheap shit I'm buying for no other reason than it's cheap I go free. For this lamp I caved and paid the US$5 for slightly better shipping.

  • Any chance of more stock for the lamp?

    • Try now and it should work.

  • Code worked for me on the lamp.

  • So I have no idea how to set the timezone in the mi home app (my lamp arrived today). I'd heard something about setting the app to China but the lamp to Singapore (or was that some other gadget?). But I can only set app locale. So I tried both China and Singapore and neither let me set a timezone. Will it use my phone timezone for schedules? Because that didn't seem to work with the air purifier.

  • hi, i have never received my product but in my status it says it shipped. ANY HELP please?????

    • Shipped means that it's been shipped out. Free shipping can take up to 30 business days so it's not far away and there should be a tracking number.

  • I forgot to put unit number, so the address is correct but there are 18 units in that address.. .is it any way to follow it? my tracking number is showing following.

    its showing me following :

This means that it's arrived to the sorting centres and/or customs in Australia. You might have some luck calling Auspost quoting the tracking number.

      • Thanks for your help, i will try calling them monday morning… hope i can find the product… i was waiting for so long ….

        • It's possible that the address is correct if your Paypal address was.

  • Anymore stock of the Mijia bedside lamp coming?
