Woolworths Return Customers $8 Cashback (Was $1) [$50 Min Spend*], New Customers $30 (Was $20) [$100 Min Spend^] @ Cashrewards

1480

Another great cashback offer for the final day of our 4th birthday celebrations. Stack with 5% WISH cards for even bigger savings. The minimum spend requirement excludes GST but as most groceries are exempt (see list below) this will hardly ever equate to 10% of your bill. Note that Woolworths determines your customer status (return or new), not Cashrewards. This offer ends 11:59pm AEST Tonight. Enjoy :)

*(1) Rewards are payable for return Woolworths shoppers that spend a minimum $50 (excluding GST) on their order's final basket value (after applicable discounts, if any).
^(2) Rewards are payable for first time Woolworths shoppers that spend a minimum $100 (excluding GST) on their first order's final basket value (after applicable discounts, if any).

A small education piece:

Please always ensure your last click before purchase is from Cashrewards. Simply click Shop Now and complete your shopping without leaving the Woolworths site. A lot of untracked claims come from the fact members have other tabs open and/or are using Google or comparison sites to review their product/s before purchase. All cashback/rewards sites work off a simple principle - last click. The winning affiliate is always the one that receives the last click. Also, please turn off any AdBlock/uBlock/Ghostery as well as Safari (mobile and/or desktop) Cross-Site Tracking.

That's an awesome increase, thanks TA :) I think it's time to finally use them to take advantage of the $30 back.

Thanks TA, just to clarify, is it OK to place an order before tonight for pick up in a few days.

    • +2

Hi imissbeans. The important thing is that the order is paid for before 11:59pm tonight :)

I've just emailed the agency and waiting for response. Will hopefully know soon.

EDIT: The person that can confirm this either way is OOO. I'm sorry, but I don't want to commit without certainty.

  • A small education piece:

Printed this out to hang in the pool room.

    • I assume it'll be in the NAPLAN

Do I get cashback if use reward money or out of stock store credits ?

    • +1

Also what happens if items are out of stock and we spend $50 only to have the total brought down below $50. Will we need a bit of a buffer?

      • I'm pretty sure you pay up front, and WW refund you if they can't supply… so you're probably good.

      • +1

Hi phew. You'll get cashback as long as the min spend requirement is met when you pay. Any items out of stock at delivery won't cancel cashback :)

        • final basket value not showing ex-GST amount, so…?

GST free food should be it's own bargain…

Dang! just placed an order last night for a pick up today via cashrewards with $1 cashback!

    • +4

      Reported to the mods.

  • how could I know how much GST i paid ?

  • +1

Just to confirm, this is payable with pickup orders too right?

  • So if I purchased a $150 e-gift card using this link, I would be eligible for the $30 cash back? Or do I have to click on the main link?

    • +1

After you purchase your WISH card, you must click Shop Now via this link in order to get cashback.

Oh I get it. Was off with the fairies. Cheers

          @Scab: Tight fairies.

      • Can I purchase a WISH giftcard for $100 and get the $30 cashback, same question for a GoodFood giftcard?

        • No to both.

Rewards are not payable on the purchase of Woolworths Gift/eGift Cards.

        • @tightarse: How do I know gst amount and make sure total-gst is 50?

  • +2

Nice, thanks! I have a Woolworths account but I've never placed an order. Does my existing account qualify for the 'new customer' $30 cashback?

    • Same question.
I have never placed an online order for groceries, but have bought a giftcard using Cashrewards for Woolworths, do I qualify as a 'new customer'?

  • Holy crap
    This is crazy
I still have that 10$ discount in points.
    That's 32$ for 50$ of groceries
    Cheers TA

    • But does that meet spend a minimum $50 (excluding GST)? I have $20 in points, so don't want spend $70 + GST for $8 back.

  • Thanks TA.

I'm a new customer, never shopped online for groceries before.

Return Customers $8 Cashback (up from $1)

    That's a 700% increase!

New Customers $30 (up from $20)

    That's a 33.33% increase!

From a percentage point of view, I wish I was an existing customer! Haha!

      Isn't $20 -> $30 a 50% increase? :)

Don't forget to use this offer for the one that gets it :)

    • Be careful as offers I received are only available in store. Mentioned in a comment in that deal. Need to check offer email!

[And if using stored points from previous deals - is spend before GST then $50, or less as using points - so not qualify for this deal??]

Received 3000pts & 2x instant $15 off $50 in store emails to use this week. Family have received these offers regularly for months. Would only gain $8 from this deal & lose the $15. So, have never used CashRewards at Woolies😞

Used 1 instant $15 off $50 in store last night, along with $20 of points (mainly from recent deal - scan in 3 Woolies outlets for 3000pts) to only pay $16 on $51😀

What a classic. Who can ever forget this :)

  • Dam it just made an order this morning :( maybe I should cancel it

  • I placed an order and my cashback is $5.60 not $8.00. Bit weird, but free money is awesome.

    • +1

Please check your CR account and you should find it's showing $8. Tracking email may have shown $5.60 incorrectly. Thanks!

      • +1

All sorted. Email has wrong amount but account shows $8.

      • +1

What does Woolworths consider new customer vs returning? I've never made an order before.

  • "Please allow up to 48 hours for delivery of eGift Cards.

  • I was a bit concerned, as was @phew was, on out of stock items. That seems to be resolved.

What about items that are sold per weight. For example, meat. The price is variable depending on the weight, you are charged a nominal amount based on the maximum weight of the product, then refunded the difference. This amount, I assume would show up as a pending transaction on your account and then finalised when your basket is packed and the actual items scanned.

It think it would be safe to buy extra to cover this.

  • Last time it was $10 cash back, woolies out of stock something & made my order didn’t reach the amount & so didn’t qualify for cash back. So annoying

  • Are entering a store credit ok? The store credit is entered into the 'promo code' field that is the same field for any coupons from CR, but obviously this one isnt..

The store credit is from a refund for out of stock items from last time.

  • Can we use this offer multiple times before it expires today? e.g. can I place 2 orders back to back for $55 each (1 to pick up tomorrow, another arond 5 days from now) and still get the cashback reward for both orders?

    • …or even 2 pickups in one day???

    • this would have been a great hack.. i shopped $200+ would have gotten $32 back

      • it worked for me!

  • will it work with Coupon codes? Like "PICKUP2018" -> 2000 points for $150 online shop with pickup

    • Rewards are not payable when using coupon code/s not listed on Cashrewards.

  • Hi TA, I placed two orders and only got one traced sales, is this something I should contact CR and get fixed?

    • Deleted.

    • Hi alanyang. Not an issue. Please open a support ticket and the CS team will take care of it. Thanks :)

  • Is the offer once per cashrewards account?

  • -7

Something about a "cookie period" on my unpaid claims and then wanting receipts on 3 month old food purchases. Remember to keep ALL receipts for an unreasonable time.
Edit for the rep please don't do the pc thing and key "please contact cr, pizza hut, telstra etc" just because you THINK our community ASSume you put your word over your children. If u do I may end up with a disgruntled opinion of what businesses such as yours did to a mans word.

  • Woolworths site suffering tonight

  • WOW the site's not doing well…

    • Why do you think that?

  • Hi TA, is it only limited to just one order ??

  • placed $52 order yesterday… received cashrewards of $8 and $10 worth of everyday reward points from some other offer…

    • Have you got your points? For some reason I don't see mine.

      • The Woolworths rewards points should be credited to your account around the time that you pick up the order, rather than at the time you place the order.

      • yes, got points and redeemed in next shopping..

  • Just had my $8 cashback declined.
My order was $51.45 - I'd better read the fine print about GST next time :-(

    • +1

Update - I sent an email to the customer service team at cash rewards and they approved the cash back for my order today.
      Brilliant stuff cash rewards :-)
