JU10

Original post of 10% off @ OzGameShop.com
Extra 10% off its most recent "usual" price ($84.99) by using the "JU10" code, expiring 11:59 AWST 29 June 2018. As posted here.

(Compare to other sellers' prices: http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=win+10+pro+oem&…)

It is an legitimate key and legitimate way of obtaining a copy of Windows 10, for if you are building a new system (in which case you are the system builder, and also the recipient), and does not violate licensing terms (in comparison to Volume Licensing keys/MSDN keys, which are different to OEM, from other significantly cheaper online sellers). (see below) This may not be for everyone, but if you are in the market for this particular version, it is a pretty good price.

Regarding Windows 10 OEM License Terms:
(from https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10…)

Yes, you can buy and use them, under the license terms say they are intended for system builders who are building and selling systems. There is nothing preventing the average user from purchasing a copy and use it, in fact, many people do.

Understand the limitations that come with it:

  • OEM versions of Windows 10 are identical to Full License Retail versions except for the following:
  • OEM versions do not offer any free Microsoft direct support from Microsoft support personnel
  • OEM licenses are tied to the very first computer you install and activate it on
  • OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard
  • OEM versions cannot be used to directly upgrade from an older Windows operating system

EDIT: I'll let you to decide for yourself and do your own research regarding the legitimacy of using the OEM version.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/Useterms/OEM/Windows/10/UseT…

caveat: there has been previous purchase that had been reported to be blocked keys upon activation attempt a few months after purchasing. I'll keep an eye and see if there will be more similar reports in the comments, and will consider deleting the post if warranted. Alternatively consider this deal only if you are going to activate the OEM licence straight away so anything that isn't working can be consulted with OzGameShop immediately.

  • Microsoft Windows 10 Professional OEM… How can you sell an OEM install disk? They are marked Not for resale….

    • +3

The OEM disks marked Not for resale are branded OEM ones from HP/DELL/LENOVO etc and packaged up to work specifically for their brands. You can still buy generic OEM from MSY or other computer shop when you are building a brand new PC from scratch.

      • Different if you are buying a new PC or MB though. OEM key without hardware directly to an end user would definitely violate MS' terms (different if you are MS certified yourself).

For the record can (well upto at least last month) still install Win7 and upgrade to 10, even though was supposed to finish end of last year.

That's assuming your hardware supports Win7. Know latest AMD CPU/APU's don't (had old APU to update BIOS anyway when I did it, later re-sold for profit), not sure about Intel. Suppose it also depends what your time is worth to.
        1. Create Win7 install media
        2. Patch to handle modern USB, NVMe, etc.
        3. Install Win7
        4. Activate Win7
        5. Create Win10 install media
        6. Upgrade Win7 to 10
        7. Fresh install of Win10

        • I installed Win10 on a machine last weekend using the key from my old win7 laptop and i had no trouble activating as soon as it went online
Installed from media created from 1803 iso

        • there are no win 7 supported drivers with Kabylake and onwards intel processors … intel, microsoft and the manufacturers got together and decided to move on from supporting Win 7 on new platforms.

If you are a student, you may be eligible for a free copy of Windows 10 at https://onthehub.com/

    • Yup, it is great =) and I am using mine already.

Only wish they allow unlimited devices haha.

totally BS of this is legitimate license, the OP is suspicious as well because he post the license term of the OEM but except one: OEM License MUST sell together with hardware, not by itself. So, paying $76 for a counterfeith/stolen key is kind of no brainer.

    • doesn't specify how much hardware ….

buy an xbox controller also for your new build … done if your guilt stops you sleeping at night.

  • I think the deal of 9.50€ Windows key is still at there.

I have purchased 3x Windows 10 Pro keys from these guys over the past couple of years. Two worked fine after activating them not long after purchasing. The third didn't work out so well.
It was 6 weeks after purchasing when I decided to use that key for the first time. No matter what I tried I found that it wouldn't activate. I ended up contacting Microsoft and was advised that the key had been blocked due to piracy… Was not impressed at all. Ozgameshop wanted a screenshot of the error but by that stage I had already purchased a license elsewhere
