        @NeBlackCat: Well it is true that you would need to contact Ebay as they partially cover the discount (a whole topic on its own). I bought it from a different seller (FUTU) and both my order details/paypal transaction shows the discount. This has happened to me before and I open a dispute with both ebay and paypal, it's the only way to make sure they take it seriously.

        Cheers. I'm surprised that's allowed tbh. I'd have thought your contract would be with the online shop, not ebay itself, or weirdly split in some way. Still, you live and learn.

        I just know my monitor will be one of the ones with ghosting now. Things come in threes.

  Did anyone have the VA (40") version of this monitor? I'm wondering if this (IPS) model will be any different for mainly text work (s/w dev, office apps, browsing, etc). I know there'll be a slight positive difference for video and gaming, but I'm not boshed about them.
