Just what we need with all the fruits with free needles

But OP already made that gag in the deal text.

    • The metal detector will pay for itself!

      Eventually…

    • +16

Its getting worse. Somebody hid some strawberries among the knitting needles at Spotlight.

      • Jokes on them, strawberries are delicious!

      • Not to mention the occasional punnet including a little free straw.

Next thing will be slugs and caterpillars. How many years will a culprit get for including those?

  • We need it immediately 。。。。

Probably not sensitive enough for needles, but these are a really good idea if you do any woodwork with recycled timber. I have one and use it to check for old nails etc. in wood I'm about to cut. It's saved quite a few saw blades and possibly a finger or two.

      A magnet works too

      • +2

For straight steel/iron. Stainless steel is weakly-magnetic at best. Nearly all other metals are non-magnetic. Them brass screws'll getcha.

Like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Maybe Coles needs a few of these are the bagless, trolley-less self service checkouts. Scan your fruit before bagging.

Upvote for naming the bastards "strawberry terrorists".

    • It's pretty clever, isn't it?

It's almost like these people are terrorizing Australian citizens by tampering with food..

      • That is a trademark of a certain group of people. If I had the governments resources I bet I could find the person in 48 hours based solely on that profiling. However with comments like this…

"Calling the perpetrator a “coward and a grub”, Morrison called on parliament to quickly raise the maximum sentence for such deliberate food contamination from 10 to 15 years behind bars."

… Once I found and delivered him, they'd quickly apologise and give him tens of thousands of dollars in compensation for making that above comment, to prove they're not 'racist'.

"That, he said, would put the crime on par with “things like possessing child pornography and financing terrorism. That’s how seriously I take this.”"

Yes, that group engages in all three of those as well (possessing and engaging in child rape, and terrorism).

Sorry to say Pauline Hanson beat him to it by several days.

Soon to be “strawberry mental-illness-sufferers” when they’re found to be white.

I'm seeing deliver is extra. $29.95 + delivery.

    • I swear it said free delivery under "Delivery Information" when I made the edit, or perhaps I need to visit SpecSavers. Please use the Report function to alert Mods to errors like this in the future.

Thanks OP. Have been thinking about opening my own airport… This might just seal the deal…

Oh Jesus he murdered me with that episode.

Lawsuit already. It's not like anybody didn't already think he's a pedo.

FFS, a 30yo chatting up a 15-18yo may be creepy and culturally wrong, but its not paedophilia.

SBC is a comedian, not a documentary filmmaker.

        • +3

may be creepy and culturally wrong

          Unless it's an artist.

If it's an artist it's just rock and roll.

Imagine if you use it on yourself after eating strawberries and it beeps…

  • Does it also do pervert?

      • +1

Ha. Beaten while I was re-watching it!

        • +1

Sounds like a painful way to watch an episode..

they always say australia but either they deliver by snail or they are liars

    • You nailed it

      • +9

How can you tell without a metal detector?

  • +1

Can I use it for outlining the pipes and wires in the wall?

  • -4

If you have a stud finder it will do the same thing.

    • A stud finder isn’t going to help u find needles in strawberries! 😉

      • +2

Maybe there is a different name for it. My one detects metal and wires. Used for finding nails and pipes and wires. I thought this was a stud finder.

        • +1

Stud finder usually detects only timber but there are ones that do copper wires as well in the same unit, I'm not 100% it will detect all metals. Although I'm not sure if this metal detector detector will work as it's supposed to

  • can it detect pedos

    • +1

Not sure why you got negged, dont think anyone got the reference

      whoisamerica

      • +1

It had already been mentioned twice.

    • edit. already addressed by previous comments

  • I suspect these needles problem to push metal detector demand, money motives behind the needles? hope im wrong

Big-metal-detector had a hand in 911 too. It was to increase airport security.

      • Big Metal-detector won't let us have a coinless economy.

You know those little hooks on bracelets that keep breaking off at the beach? I wonder who builds those hooks. And where did beach culture come from?
