iPhone 6S Plus 32GB Space Grey $617 @ Officeworks

1140

By far the cheapest anywhere for brand new, AU or overseas. Stock seems decent but this model is out of production so may not last long.

Here are the reasons I bought it and you may want to consider it. AMA.
If these don't line up with your requirements, this deal isn't for you :-)

  • Has to be an iPhone, not interested in Android
  • You can live with 6S performance (improved under iOS 12, wife has one, it's smooth)
  • Your don't want to spend $900+ for the 7 Plus
  • You want a Plus model. Plus models don't just have a bigger screen, you get way better battery life, and the screen is denser and higher resolution, sharper than the non-Plus models.
  • Want peace of mind of 24 month AU warranty and avoid all the dodgy refurb deals sprouting up everywhere WTF
  • Travelling in next 60 days and can get GST refund
  • Can't think of a single thing you'll really miss compared to an iPhone 7/8
  • Headphone jack FTW
  • Think 4-figures for a phone is too much
  • Need a new phone soon

EDIT: Off to pick up mine from Officeworks, was a bit worried it's a stock error, but this confirms Officeworks does have them.

                • @cwongtech: Experiencing the night and day difference between quality software and design by day, reading fanboy comments about how the only thing with "value" in a phone is numbery bits listed on GSM arena, as they recommend a phone running software a year behind Google plastered over with the bloated rumpled stiltskin with bloop sound effects cooked up by Samsung's software engineering design by committee = Priceless

The launch date of the 6S is super important but the qualitative difference in software is of no value, look at teh tripple RAMz, six geebee.

    • What is a normie?

      • Reddit/Twitter slang, pejorative, for someone who just follows current/popular trends and tries to fit in, boring, conventional.

        • -2

          Reddit/Twitter

wrong. reddit and twitter are cancerous.

        • +3

I believe you'll find that the term came from 4chan, and that most redditors and Twitter users were called normies.

          • +1

            @Jolakot: Correct.

            • +1

@HKS: Ah yeah I'd assume that anyway, everything comes out of SA or 4chan.

        • Oh of course because everyone on the super secret Reddit and Twitter websites are so non-mainstream.

Refurb 6s in exceĺlent condition is $300 not $600.

    • +2

Where can you get that from?

      • Got from luvyourphone ebay store. Excellent quality and still under apple warranty.
Got 20% discount. luvyourphone regularly included in ebay discounts.

I do warn you not to trust used or refurbished iphones on ebay. Most are franken phones from overseas despite claims of being an ozzie seller with Aus address. Regents Park NSW is a standard address used by these sellers and an indication to avoid.

I did find luvyourphone to be local, honest and a provider of high quality used and refurbed iphones.

    • And with 24 months warranty?

    • 6s or 6s plus?

      • Just be aware of the risks with 3rd party repaired iPhones. One time TouchID stopped working after an iOS update on such phones (Apple reverse it iirc)
It's likely Apple will refuse to service them, for example if you wanted to get the cheap battery replacement before the end of the year.

I spent $119 trying to get my 6 Plus repaired. Stopped working the next day. Bloody amateurs! 6mth warranty on the repair but I just want a refund.

The prices I looked up were places like Kogan/COTD/Mobileciti.

Isn't the main CPU/RAM etc the same as the much cheaper iPhone SE though?

    SE: https://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_se-7969.php

    6S Plus: https://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_6s_plus-7243.php

A lot more money for a bigger phone with a better front facing camera, but the rest of the specs are pretty similar?

    • +1

The difference between a 5.5" screen and a 4" screen is huge. So if you're downsizing, play around with it and if you like the SE form factor, go for it.

Personally the 4.7" screen of the 6/6S/7 is the bare minimum for my use. The iPhone SE screen is so limiting I wouldn't be able to live with it.

Plus models don't just have a bigger screen, you get way better battery life, and the screen is denser and higher resolution, sharper than the non-Plus models.

      • +1

Personally, I'd never go below a 5 inch screen.
Now the bezels are getting smaller on all phones it's easy to get a 5+ inch screen from the footprint of a 4 inch phone a few years ago.

Saw a 6 inch phone and thought wow that's way too big, then compared it to my old phone (5 inch) and it was almost the same dimensions.

If I was going to get an iPhone (which I won't) than I'd definitely go the plus.

        • "Personally, I'd never go below a 5 inch", yeah I hear that a lot from a female friend.

          • +2

@wtfnodeal: Good thing I don't have any bezels, just pure meat.

            You asked for it ;)

            • +2

@pennypincher98: She can't tell much the difference once you have a leak proof case on it so 5" is still 5" in physical dimension.
By the way, how much did you pay to have it modified? Asking for a friend of course.

        • 4 inch screen you might as well get a 3310 :-P Way cooler than an iPhone SE. Esp. for dudes, I think some women prefer the pocketable 4" size…

    • +2

The iPhone SE is the best phone money can buy, when it comes to a small form-factor. Followed by the SONY Z5 Compact/XZ1 Compact and iPhone 5S.

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were good for it's day, mostly because in Late 2014-Early 2016, there was very little decent competition from the Android side. The 6S and 6S Plus had to contend against much better Android phones, and they did good, because the iPhone 6S Plus specifically had many small improvements that made it a much better phone overall.

The iPhone 6S Plus is the best Apple phone money can buy if you need the 3.5mm headset jack. Alternatives are the ZTE Axon7, OnePlus 5, Xiaomi Poco F1, S7-Exynos, or the much newer/expensive S9+ (Exynos for the Custom ROMs).

      • Arent you forgetting Xz2 compact?

        • Nope.
That phone sucks, its dimensions and weight are larger on paper…. but in the hand, it feels much bigger than the old Z5c.
Overall, its a "meh" phone with a rip-off price. Sony's division never realised how to become successful, and now, they've forgotten what made them different/better than the competition.

Right now its the PS4 sales keeping that entire division afloat, and the Camera department using them to prototype their next-generation optics (even though the software drivers are half-baked, and the results are mixed). Otherwise the Sony head was going to sell the entire division off just like they did with the VAIO division. They still might in the near future.

            • +4

@BargainKen: There are some conveniences with iPhone when you are in the Apple ecosystem.

Let's say you want to test a website for responsiveness in the iPhone, we can copy the URL in a Mac and paste it in the phone or other Apple devices like iPad as long as they are all connected to the same network.

With the Messages app, we can read and reply to messages from the Mac.

The gestures in the iPhone browser are handy to go back and forward. Also, a simple tap on the toolbar at the top takes us to the top quickly when surfing long webpages.

FaceTime is great, easy and straightforward for my parents to figure out when they want to call me from overseas. No account creation with Skype, logging in and stuff.

These may not be important or significant to everyone and there are probably equivalents in the Android + PC ecosystem, but they could be some reasons why some folks prefer Apple stuff.

            • @BargainKen: lol no one is telling me which is the awesome Android phone I can buy around this price or way less as you suggest that will be super awesome for my use.

              • +1

@scynaz: Check out the Xiaomi Pocophone which is quite reasonably priced. I use both anyway, so not picking favorites, the 6s+ has served me well for the 3yrs I've had it minus the bad battery which needs to be replaced shortly. Just dont think its worth $650, 32GB wont get you far.

                • @BargainKen: Don't miss out on the cheap battery replacement, just book a time! Will help if you sell it.

                  • +2

@scynaz: Yup I'm purposefully waiting till December to get my money's worth, I'm an OzBargainer after all

              • +1

@scynaz: I bought my Xperia XZ2 at $650 right before GST was imposed on grey imports.
Right now you can grab it for $700 from an australian ebay listing ($664 with ebay 5% off code).

This is Sony's equivalent to the Samsung S9, thanks to horrible marketing by Sony it's a forgotten flagship that is technically equal or superior to the S9, 960fps @1080p slowmotion

                There you go.

If you want a global brand name as a comparison, there you have it.
It's still significantly more expensive than a Xiaomi phone but it is a flagship with no compromises (apart from missing 3.5mm headphone jack..)

                Xperia XZ2:
                - Snapdragon 845
                - 4GB RAM (can be 6GB if you go for an intl version)
                - 64GB of storage
                - dual hybrid sim (2nd sim slot can be used with MicroSD card instead to expand storage in future)
                - Waterproof
                - Wireless charging
Great for the sim sluts on OzBargain.

                • @cwongtech: Thanks, I'm genuinely interested in what's comparable in the Android world, especially parents will be due for new phones soon.
And you're right as I said in another comment, in terms of hardware these, the S8, and the Nokia are way ahead of the 6S.
Plus of course iPhone 6/7/8 bezels are ridiculous in comparison.

Just not up for switching ecosystems and wary of past experiences with Android updates.

Apart from Google, which Android manufacturer these days releases phones with a light skin almost vanilla Android and is the fastest with updates, any of them likely to be updated until 2 years from now?

                  • @scynaz: Sony is definitely forgotten, but having done a lot of comparisons, i happily got the xz1 compact.
They promise 2 years since date of release and so far updates have been pretty steady (though not as frequent as my nexus)

Also have 6s and 7 (non plus versions).
Not sure why everyone is giving you crap, they are perfectly fine for what you want to do.
I do prefer the 7 a little bit more though.

Performance of both are comparable to upper midrange android phones like the nokia 7 plus but i feel the 835 in my sony is a tad more snappy. Im sure if you do some real heavy lifting the iphones will come out ontop though.

One thing you will find is that camera tech has moved on a fair bit. I never found both phones having great cameras.

If you were to switch, for the same price the only phone i would really go for is the Oneplus 6 or Mi8.
There are no flagship level android one phones yet at $650 (im talking about snapdragon 835 or higher with pixel 2 / iphone x level of camera)

Apple are bound to be providing updates to this for a while. Not because they want to, but because they have no choice - it’s the biggest selling phone in India and they want inroads into that market badly.

    • +1

Yep, you can pretty much assume it'll get the next two major releases, iOS 13 & 14. Good chance 1-2 more beyond that.

The latest release iOS 12 is supported by the iPhone 5S, which is two years older than this :-)

When it came out, the iPhone 5S was running iOS 7!

    • In what world is this the biggest selling phone in India? Do you mean biggest selling iPhone because xiaomi, Samsung, huewei etc dominate Indian's market share.

      • +1

        Correction: biggest selling iPhone.

It’s the most affordable there thanks to the tariffs.

  • +6

Still using my 6s from launch without a hitch. Tempted for XR but this thing never dissapointed me. Hasnt slowed down nor had other problems.

Also this is the last iPhone with a tangible home button (if that matters to you).

    • iPhone 7 & 8 both have a home button, no?

      • +1

The iPhone 7/8 buttons are touch based, they're not buttons.

@Kangal: I'll defer to your experience on that one.

    • +4

Good to see a couple of these comments. I really wonder if I am turning into a grumpy old man not feeling any desire to have the latest iPhones.

Grumpy about headphones jacks and removing TouchID and magsafe and USB-A from Macbooks and that (profanity) Touchbar adding AU$500 to the cost, for a useless gizmo.

      • +3

I am with you on the iPhone 6S. I had it for almost 2 years and I chose it over the iPhone SE for the screen size. It does everything I ever needed from a phone and I dont see I would upgrade any time soon.

You are wrong on one thing though. We are grumpy old men!

        • LOL don't know about that, some people seem really invested. iPhone vs Android feels like a time warp, exactly like it was a decade ago. Meanwhile Facebook became boomertown, Twitter went form a quirky site to journo central to everyone mad about politics, workplaces moved to Slack.

The only change in this war are iPhone and Samsung and Google Nexus/Pixel phone models. Very Groundhog day.

    • I don't miss home button 😊

  • Why is everyone so upset about the headphone jack? I don't get it.
It's not like you can't ever use your headphones again - just plug in a little adaptor!
Or if you can't remember to bring it, don't the included headphones have a lightning connector?

Funnily enough I never hear anyone complaining about fast charging with iPhones - what Android phone has a slow charger in box and costs $70 or so to upgrade?

    • +8

headphone jack - if you want to listen to music and charging at the same time, you'll have to buy an expensive 3rd party cable or use wireless charging.

fast charging with iPhones - that's one of the things people criticise the iPhone XS - $1629 phone, not willing to include a fast charger (nor the cable needed for it), the removal of the lightning to headphone jack adaptor, even the included earpods are now packaged with cardboard paper, instead of a plastic case - Apple first used that type of packaging for iPod Touch's earpods. Cost cutting seems to be the way Apple are doing things after S. Jobs. That's fine if the price of the phones actually go down, but that's not the case.

And, with the infamous Donglebooks (Macbook Pros), Apple don't have the guts to remove the headphone jack (come on, man up and put in digital port). Macbook Pros used to be laptops with great selection of ports to everything needing dongles.

The iPhone fast charging cable. Apple, to cut cost once again, reduced the cost of the 1m cable by removing the wiring for USB 3.0 pins (making the cable USB 2.0 only). Is that really the right way forward?

    • -2

I don't think it's a decidinng factor for anyone. But I have so much fun taking the piss out of people with new Macbooks and iPhones juggling donngles.

      I hope my 2015 Macbook lasts a while…

      • +1

Not happy with My Donglebook (that's what I called my Macbook Pro). Wasted so much time researching on the right dongles to get. Furthermore, even with the 4 port versions, the total number of ports, compared to 2015 Macbook Pros reduced by 50% (4 vs 7 - not counting headphone jack on both). If Apple truly believed USB-C is the way to go, at least give us 7 USB-C ports.

Still much prefer Magsafe. iPhone XS - no more lightning to headphone jack dongle and still no USB-C cable included. Thus, if you have a Donglebook like I do, you'll need to buy a cable (and if you didn't buy one much earlier - the current 1m version is only USB 2.0 - the old version is USB 3.0 - that's not courageous - that's pure cost cutting (and Apple obviously don't tell you this) - so if you want to buy the cheapest Apple cable - no more USB 3 for you).

The main issue with headphone port on iPhone is the removal - which means 1 less port. If Apple replaced it with another lightning port (i.e. 2 lightning ports), then it would have been fine. Now, you have 1 less port and you potentially use that port more often (thus more wear and tear). However, being Apple, they can get away with anything (less ports, cheap charger, the notch, no more home button / fingerprint reader).

  • +2

I just wanted to take this moment to gloat about my recent iPhone 8 purchase. I paid $550 in total, for one in perfect condition still under applecare warranty for a few months buying second hand off a private seller on eBay.
I got it at this price by using 5 x PayPal gift cards that I purchased for 10% off, and stacked with the 5% eBay code.
I probably could have waited for a 10% wide code but I was getting impatient as my craggily old iPhone 6 is getting increasingly slower by the day and the battery barely lasts an hour, and the screen has a crack in it.
Pretty happy with my purchase considering the phone is only a year old and cheaper then this deal.
But iPhone 6S really isn't a bad phone. The camera quality is decent, many specs are similar aside from the a11 chip, I just couldn't justify spending that much on a phone that is starting to get on, age wise..
iPhone X wasn't really an option due to facial recognition to unlock (really uncomfortable with that.)
I'd suggest anyone looking for a good price on a more modern phone use their gift cards and stack a site wide code.. and at least paying on PayPal means you're protected if the phone is not as described or doesn't arrive etc etc.

    • +2

The iPhone X saves your face ID details on the phone in a secure enclave the way TouchID fingerprints were saved. That's a very significant difference.

      • I'll tell you what's a significant difference - not having a fingerprint sensor?

        • +2

Was replying to @SiameseIfYouPlease w.r.t being uncomfortable with facial recognition, I don't think you should be, unlike most other devices/services you're not uploading your facial ID details to the cloud or third parties or the government.

          • +1

@scynaz: My parents are complaining the iPhone XS Max not detecting their faces when they wear reading glasses. I'll need to help them setup Face ID again. I don't have iPhone X or XS so I don't know how reliable it is. However, I saw various reports that glasses are fine (and those aren't sunglasses).

I also trying to find an option for them so that the phone will just unlock with Face ID, without the need to swipe up. Hard when I don't have an iPhone X or XS.

            • +1

@netsurfer: Yep, I've heard and read similar stories, I'm sure with glasses, darker skin, and a fast growing beard I'll be one of the edge cases.

I'm very much in the TouchID forever camp. Apple should figure out how to integrate it behind the screen. Don't think it's impossible.

It makes no sense to me. Like magsafe, like the new Macbook keyboards they took forever to fix, removing USB ports, I know it's very much Apple to drop stuff like that but it's really aggravating at this point and they're dropping stuff that's near perfect (magsafe/touchID).

              • +2

@scynaz: It's really annoying that Apple removed things which are really good (i.e. MagSafe - great idea and you can tell your laptop is fully charged without turning it on) and now go into this cost cutting mode. They constantly get away with it.

The notch - while after trying my relatives' phones, I get used to it. They still find it a bit annoying that battery percentage is not displayed on the top right notch. Again, that was one thing iPhone did well really early on. It took Android a while to have that. Swipe down to check the battery percentage - Really? Apple, you really think that's an improvement?

It's just frustrating that giving the premium paid, you get less ports, less accessories.

                • @netsurfer: Yup. And while currency shifts aren't Apple's fault, it's hard to not feel annoyed I'm looking at well over two grand to replace my $1300 Macbook Pro when it dies with a Donglebook that comes with a touchy feely bar and barely any performance improvement I would notice.

Will probably sink 3 grand plus and go 15.4" to get something actually better.

  • +3

The exact phone I’ve used for years and just recently updated to iOS 12.

Now runs a bit quicker and smoother surprisingly.

    • Yeah they tweaked some stuff with iOS 12: https://www.cultofmac.com/571183/ios-12-performance-old-ipho…

With the price increases, I think Apple is adjusting to people moving to 3 year phone replacement cycles.

Plus the loyalty and trust keeping old devices up to date and very usable is worth way more than short term revenue loss.

I'm definitely going to end up spending what I save on Apple, an iPad Pro or Macbook, likely both!

      • +1

Part of the reason is that this year's CPU only offer 15% of speed increase. Thus, in order to make it feel snappier, some optimisation on the software is needed.

iOS 12 is faster than iOS 11 (on older devices). However, for really old phones, iOS 7/8/9 still run faster than iOS 12. iOS 10 vs iOS 12 - results are pretty even with each winning some but losing some.

        • Nope, they specifically made changes to improve the performance of older phones. That's how you build real brand loyalty :-)
Apple brand loyalty isn't just fanboys at this point. As a techie with infosec experience, Apple has the best security/privacy engineers around.

          • +3

            @scynaz: That's just fanboy talk.

With this phone, standard apps open FASTER in iOS 9. With iPhone 5S, standard apps open FASTER in iOS 7 and iOS 8 (some are way faster). The calculator in iOS 12 have an animation glitch in iOS 12 for iPhone 5S - which is annoying (with Apple's standard - I don't understand why that's acceptable). I had a potential buyer who told me that he would have purchased my iPhone 5S instantly if it was still on iOS 8. He flat out refused to buy it now it is on iOS 12. I regret upgrading it to iOS 12 - it is SLOWER than iOS 8 FOR SURE.

iOS 12 is basically a fix for Apple's iOS 11's screw up for old phones. You can read reports - iOS 12 don't exactly beat iOS 10 in every area (they trade blows). If your old phones can do iOS 9,8,or7, they are way faster.

The sad side of iOS is this: on iOS 8, my old iPhone 5S can open phone with the dial pad (cold / app not running in background) faster than iPhone XS Max on iOS 12 - due to the stupid pause Apple put in the animation since iOS 10/11. iPhone 5S camera app is very fast to open on iOS 8, but still NOT FAST ENOUGH on iOS 12.

iOS 11 is horrible for old iPhones. iOS 12 is roughly on par with iOS 10. Older phones still fly with iOS 9, 8.

            • @netsurfer: I honestly have no idea what you are on about, iOS 8/9/10 are history and irrelevant, if you're still running one of them you've got a big target painted on you saying hack me I haven't patched for years.

iOS 12 is faster than iOS 11 on iPhones 5/6/6S, it's been tested by Ars Techncia etc. The rest I really don't care about.

            • @netsurfer: Not really.

In the past, the chipsets got faster due to better microarchitecture or better lithography or both.
This time Apple is using the same A11-Bionic chipset in the better lithography ("10nm" vs 7nm). However, this new lithography is still a big jump (as an example, 16nm to 10nm is small jump) so they actually can overclock the processor and gain a decent +40% performance. They didn't.

So what Apple's done is to take the A11-Bionic chip, make it smaller, and let it speed up +15% and then limit the processor.
This means you get a bit of a speed boost, but you see a huge increase in battery life. Definitely the right move, especially since the Apple chips are so fast and ahead of the competition (the QSD 845 is barely competing with the A10). And the new screens are supposed to use more battery, so this helps even the playing field a bit, combined with Apple increasing/reducing the capacity of the battery.

Plus this gives Apple the opportunity to make next year's processor clock to its high point; eg +30%, so that it pleases the marketing department and the online "trolls". They don't even need to make a new microarchitecture/improvements, just minor refinements are enough. And honestly, that's the approach I would've done:

              New Microarchitecture -> New Process/Lithography -> New Optimisations/Refinements(Overclocking)
              +50% -> +10% -> +40%
…and rinse/repeat the cycle every 3-years (tick-tock-tock). It keeps you competitive without ever having a single generation feel like its not improved or "lagging in innovation". In fact, they did this recently with the:
              A9 (new 14nm) -> A10 (overclocked) -> A11 (new architecture), and frankly it embarrassed the QSD 820 (2016) -> QSD 835 (2017) -> QSD 845 (2018) on the Android side.

@scynaz: This is a first in my experience though.

They’ve previously rendered two old iPads that ran ok, absolutely unusable with iOS updates.

            Hopefully this new trend continues.

  • It's the last generation of iPhones which you can open and repair it.

Or just get a Samsung S8+ for the same price…

Last year's model with 64GB and SD card.

To the smart techy out there, here is a question:
Why can't anyone install hacked iOS in Android phone or any phones?
The same way we can now install Mac on any intel machines.

      • Not 100% sure but most possibly due to the fact that iOS would be much harder to pirate than MacOS and issues with compatibility between the different CPUs (apple produces their own line of CPUs for iPhones only).

      • +2

Loooong list of reasons, but a few big ones:

        • I'm pretty sure Apple & Android aren't binary compatible, they both license the ARM architecture but Apple designs its own CPUs and adds customizations.
So it's not like Intel/AMD, who build processors to support exactly the same set of system level instructions.

        • iOS doesn't support most standard Android hardware, it doesn't have drivers, which need to be signed by Apple, you can't just write drivers.

        • The same way, iPhones will only boot iOS builds signed by Apple, the iPhone is hardwired to not boot up with non-Apple OS builds.

        tl; dr

AMD/Intel and MacOS/Windows for historic reasons are compatible (there's no AMD Macs atm but no reason there can't be) via a common instruction set.

iOS/Android from the beginning had no reason to maintain any compatibility and Apple from the start went its own way with full control from CPU to OS.

    Good choice OP

    That sems awfully expensive.

Oh dear released September 25th 2015 and $647 , i think i might pull my iphone 3gs out of the drawer , should get $400 by the sounds of it

    • Yeah I just dissolved in a puddle of shame realizing the release date of my phone and it totally negates the fact that it's the best choice for my use and none of you has an argument of substance to make me reconsider, I'd love to be wrong and justify trying some cool Android gizmo, I'm out of touch with the Android world. I'd love to know about cool stuff, but I don't keep track of phone anniversaries. And I don't miss Touchwiz.

      • It may meet your needs but apple are truly price gouging there customers , not looking after there customers as they claim.

When they charge over $2000 for there top phones and it still cost customers around $100 if they want a fast charger which even cheap androids supply with the phone is just gross and shameful on apples part.

        • The iPhone 5S was released 5 years ago with iOS 7, it now runs iOS 12, the same builds as the latest iPhones. It kinda matters.

        • The thing is what turned me away for good from Android and non-Apple laptops was their insistence on matching Apple prices for their premium lines aspiring for the same quality. Why? Why not undercut Apple to get market share and pull away high-spend users?

At those prices, whether it's the slow updates and the ghastliness of Touchwiz, or the awful build and the initial screw ups with the Pixel 2 XL, just become dealbreakers, like why pay almost Apple money for that stuff. Same for Microsoft Surface.

This is not a good deal. I bought this exact phone last year in Nov 17 from the Bing Lee sale for $639.20. There was a 20% off sale off bing Lee eBay.

After almost a year of using it, I really dislike it, and wished I didn't buy it. Phone just is a bit slow, too small capacity. I rather buy a Samsung or save up more for the newest iPhone.

    • Apparently iOS 12 makes the phone feel better (but it still won't be as snappy as iOS 9 on that phone).

Have one I want to sell (64GB space grey) for a relative - feeBay market price range is around $300-$350. Some people were able to buy one for less (auctions weren't doing well for the sellers, but buyers can score some decent deals).

The down side of second hand is mainly the phone condition (which can vary a low) and battery life. Not worthwhile getting this phone in 2018 (unless it is at bargain price).
