Never tried Google Pay? Now you can get Google Play credit when you make your first 5 purchases on different days.

T&C:

  • make 5 qualifying payments (max one payment per day) within 30 days of enrolling in the promotion
  • new users only
  • promotion runs from 08/03/2018 – 31/12/2018
  • to participate, you must opt in to the Promotion within the Google Pay app
  • once earned, Reward must be added to a Google Play account by 15/02/2019.
  • once added, Reward must be used on Google Play by 11:59PM (GMT) on 30/05/2019

        Same here. Bloody hard to avoid however. With Android and Google home being the only real options currently. Kinda hard to use much else…

        I posted it last time, but that deal expired at the end of August. They've just brought back the same deal.

        No more $10 referral bonus though, so it's not as good as it was back then.

      No, not necessarily. You can use Google Pay for online purchases.

      Payments only qualify and count towards your qualifying payments if made at: (i) contactless payment terminals that accept payment via Google Pay or (ii) online using Google Pay to pay via a mobile app or mobile web checkout (where available). A maximum of one payment per day will count as a qualifying payment.

    Just FYI, did this a few months ago. You can cancel the transaction and it still applies it as a purchase.

    Signed up to gpay years ago, cant use it. They dont trust Xiaomi users.

    Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this - but in the app itself i cannot locate anywhere that actually has "Invite Friends" or anything about finding out what my own referral code is.
    Even my own GoogleFu is weak tonight.
    Anyone have any clues or hints about where i can find it?
