What is Quick Charge 3.0 and VoltIQ?

Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology is 4x faster than conventional charging and up to 40% quicker than Quick Charge 2.0. It typically charges a compatible device from 0% to 80% in 35 minutes. It achieves this by increasing the voltage from 3.6V to 20V with 200mV increments. This technology is backwards compatible with Quick Charge 2.0 and Samsung AFC which is capable of charging a 3500mAh battery from 0% to 60% in 30 minutes.

VoltIQ is for devices not using QC technology and charges up to 5V/2.4A in each port.

  • QTC T1C is better than T1 Pro (BT 5 vs 4.2), am i correct?
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/379809

sorry the t1C case/charger, doesnt have cover???? weird

    • +1

QCY haven't really been clear if it's better as they also released a T1. Based on prices I suspect the Pro might be better, but hard to tell until someone does a comparison.

      • Can you PLEASE give discount on Xiaomi Roidmi 3s. I NEED Bluetooth capability. Thanks.

        • +1

Just put the question to them now.

    • +1

      The C stands for coverless???

      • no cover ie unprotected?

    • the pro is crap

      reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly bad bt drop outs

  • QCY TWS earphones are great!

    • What is the call quality like with these wireless buds?

      Are the touch controls reliable?

      • +1

Never tried the T1 but the previous QCY Q29 was super popular in China, so popular that other brands basically copied the TWS design (hence so many products similar to the Q29.

T1 PRO have pretty good reviews too.

Just note that they are not designed for Sports use, and you can't expect AirPods level of connection reliability from them

  • Are the earphones new? Cannot find any reviews…

    • +1

Yep they were released late October.

    • +2

Here’s a review of the similar earphones:

      https://youtu.be/32suC8mk-jg

      • Nice find, thanks! I didn't realise a limitation of these types of earphones was no volume control. That sucks a bit…

        • Wait what do you mean? You can't control the volume at all?

  • Feel a bit like a broken record but a good deal on a PD one would be great.

  • Any deal for 3 port car charger?

  • Anyone have an idea on how long these products take to ship?

edit: nevermind, Australia Direct line (US0.57cents)is 5-8 business days

  • I ordered the earbuds. Hope one does pop out while riding my bike and bounce down a gutter.

    • I think they will. Don't like the design. Its better if they have some kind of wing or hook

  • can the Tronsmart be used to power a dashcam? All it says is it needs 5V.

    • Yes

  • +2

TRONSMART32 = This coupon code has ultimately reached the limitation usage times.

    Guys,

Never buy these. I bought one in the past and after a 3 week waiting they sent a faulty one. Once i reported they said they will send a new one which never arrived.

Waste of money. Just go and buy from Ebay AU stock.

Trust me guys… customer service from them is horrible…you will only find this when u face it..

    Thanks..

    • +1

I tried to resolve this nearly 5 months ago and you weren't interested. Can't say bad customer service if you don't reply.

      • You tried to resolve it… What a joke..you gave me forms to fill in…and that too forms has to be filled by the post office…
why did you even send the faulty things to customers.how many times i asked where is my replacement item… after a long long time i got a reply saying it will come … please be patient…and after 8 weeks you said please fill these forms..

EBay are soo good in this especially for AU stock.

Its my responsibility to help OZ people not to waste their money like me.

        • +7

That wasn't me and I'm not from China. All I asked for was for your order number so I could look into it as linked above.

I'm here to help OzBargain members that have issues and can bypass the normal process of support.

          • @Clear: Hi Clear. Do you know if the car charger special will this special be back soon?

    • Which item?

      • Tronsmart Dual QC 3.0 Car Charger $5.29 US (~$7.33 AU)

    • I am also in trouble with my order. Now they are saying the ordered item is out of stock and trying to send me a different product as replacement. What a joke.

  • Thoughts on the headphones anyone? looking for a solution for a pair when running and riding

  • +1

Hey Clear is the Australia Direct Line shipping meant to be 57 cents on the QCY earphones?

    • +1

@Clear the Australia Direct Line shipping is coming up as $3.57, not 57 cents for the QCY?

      • The other items aren't showing free shipping on Aussie direct line also

  • Thanks Clear, Just bought the Q1C's, will post a bit of a review the next time these pop up!

    • Mine are on their way too. 5-8 business days.

Apparently dispite being bt5, the still have some lag. There is an additional feature needed for lag free am right?

      • Apparently dispite being bt5, the still have some lag.

        Source?

There is an additional feature needed for lag free am right?

        Huh? What feature?

        • Feature is APTX. These don’t seem to have it.

  • +3

Received my QCY T1C Bluetooth 5.0 Earphones. Fantastic deep sound, great feature set. Magnetic charger pulls buds right into place, pop them out of the charger they pair instantly. Currently one tap on the bud, pauses/un-pauses, double tap on right phone goes to next track, on left is precious track. No volume control which is disappointing to a degree. Buds stay in ear without any feeling of risk they may fall.

Would be nice if the double tap could be configured for volume instead of track. But otherwise at this price it’s a no brainer. 9/10.

    • since it doesnt have wings/tip, not fell out easily?

      • That was a concern of mine, but no problem in practice. Jumping on one leg right now with head tilted, staying in.

        • but means we need to push it deep to earhole, right? hmm… idk… with wings is better i feel. or ear loop outside

          • @CyberMurning: The bud material is like a soft foam. Seems to have good grip and shapes to your ear hole. Does not feel intrusive. There are 3 different sizes you can change to. I’m just using the default medium.

My Q if anybody knows, it’s not written on the site; are these water resistant?

    • +2

Have you tried only using just one side, and if this is possible, does either side work? Do both sides have mic?

Some wireless earbuds allow single bud usage but only a specific side.

      • +2

Only the right side can be used on it's own.

So pleased with them I'm ordering another set as a gift.

        • +1

Thanks for coming back to me!

Damn was hoping either side would work - and if it was only for one side, was hoping it would be the left. Oh well haha

          • +1

@illumination: I just received mine. I can make it pair with just the left earbud, but it doesn't auto pair like the right one. So I have to go to the BT settings and select it there each time if I want to do this.

            • @shiznit: Actually I got the left one to auto pair with my phone. I think it spends about 10s looking for the right side earbud to pair with first before pairing with a phone.

        • Would you be able to fit the right earbud into your left ear? Left side would be better for cycling.

          • +2

@shiznit: You can, although ergonomically the correct side sits better within the lobe

  • Wonder if this will be eligible for cashback via either Cashrewards or Shopback considering there is a coupon code used as part of the transaction

    • From my experience Cashrewards has almost always tracked.

    • +1

      Order from this deal though.
