They won't get jacked, they won't be listed tomorrow

    • Yeah I noticed they do that. BS if you ask me.

  • Anyone get the Hisense 75" P8 $2400 to work? code PGUYS20 doesn't seem to work?

'Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later.'

    Best price I have seen.

    Cheers

      • yeah i only saw that after. Thanks

for a 75” tv. It’s a good price. But the tv itself is horrible. FTA tv is unwatchable due to overall picture blur. Even 1080 content on Netflix is poor. Problem is with the motion processing and the upscaler. The tv doesn’t do these things well. Moving scenes look really blurry. Read trough forums on whirlpool before buying.

I had this tv for a week and the good guys were good enough to let me return it for another tv. Very happy with their customer service. I purchased in store.

      • Which TV did you end up buying if you don't mind me asking?

        • Changed to lg 65” oled b8 tv

Had to downgrade size because oled in 75” is 4x the cost of the 65” one.

Sooooooooo much happier with this new tv

          • @sod: I thought hisense got raving reviews as best TV?

            • +3

@[Deactivated]: I read them too. That’s why I bought it.
But I’m just going by my own personal experiences.

Problem is you can’t view normal content in stores. Their demo stuff that they play will look great no matter what tv it’s on

              • @sod: I see.. I think I better hold off until there is 4k fta.

              • @sod: is the issue only with their 75”? I have one of their older models, 65N7 and FTA looks good, Netflix and 1080p movies in general look awesome

                • @johnnytran: Yeah I cant comment on their other TVs. My old tv was a 50” Samsung.

      • I've got one of these TVs (Hisense 75P8) and I couldn't be happier.

I've experienced none of the problems that you've alluded to. We watch 1080p content on Netflix and it's beautiful. 2060p content is just fabulous. Maybe I got lucky?

        • Any Hisense model you recommend in 55"? Thanks

      • +1

Strange issues. I have the 75P7 which you would think shouldn’t be as good as this and have none of those issues.

In fact it kills the Samsung and LG alternatives at the same prices points. Online review support this as does whirlpool

        • Glad it worked out for you guys.
          Maybe I got a dud

        • How does the Hisense UI compare to the Samsung? Im looking for a new tv for the lounge room and my wife likes the Samsung UI (IE is stuck in her ways). I'm yet to go in store to try it out and see for myself, but thought I would ask :)

  • Oh man, sometimes I hate that my tv died last year right when all the new Hisense models were at their premium prices 😫

does anyone have hisense p6 65"? I am thinking of buying this as it suits my budget. Hows the quality or is is better spending bit more on newer version.

    • I do mate. Paid $1300 for it last July and I love it, although I’m not a tv geek or anything. Just sucks for me that the P7 is now cheaper than what I paid for the P6 but eh, that’s life.

      • ok, so would you recommend p6 or p7 at current price?

        • p6 or p7 at current price?

          P7 of course

          • @superforever: I recall reading on whirlpool most could not really notice difference between the 2. On paper the p7 has 200mhz motion (smooth motion gimmicks, so irrelevant for most people and uses) and claimed HDR Plus but in practice i dont recall anyone actually saying they could tell a difference.

            • @Xizor: HDR 10 definitely works on the p7

              • @creesy: Cool. I suspect thats probably the main advantage, the P7 colour and brightness is likely better when viewing good quality HDR10 content. If you will take advantage of that then P7 be the winner, if not then P6. Panel lottery is still the panel lottery as well in terms of backlighting and dirty screen effect but thats across all brands.

        • Obviously depends on your budget/ how much you want to pay for a TV. Personally I’d get the P7 for this price. I reckon local dimming would be nice.

Got the p7 65. Good unit. Sd is pretty poor but that's due to the size. Fta HD and streaming HD fine. We use external sound.

  • How reliable is the delivery for the good guys? Do they provide a delivery window of a few hours? or is it just any time on a given day?

    • +1

Was just the day last time i bought. Most are still like this.

  • Wow I'm not even in the market for a gopro and am interested. Great price.

    • +1

Can anyone recommend a micro sd card for the gopro?

This gopro page recommends the Samsung EVO Plus 128GB which can be had for less than $30 from this seller
      Is it good enough?

  • Will the 65" fit into a Camry wagon. Guessing length should be fine just dont know about width.

    • Yea mate it'll fit into a hatch with the rear seats down.
      92cm tall.

  • Hisense P7 or Samsung NU7100?

    • +1

I looked at both yesterday and it seems P7 has a better PQ and brighter. On the paper, P7 is def a winner because of its Ultra local dimming.
I am still torn between the two, might go have a look at them again later and decide.

      • Thanks, I ended up getting the hisense.

        • You made the right choice. I’m just viewing them both again and the picture and brightness are def better on the p7. The sales guy was pushing to buy the Samsung though lol..

    • +1

if its similar price, then Hisense.

  • Great. Just scored a Hero7 Black for $419. Cool! Plus GST claim, now $377.

  • Trying to score the Hisense 65p7. discount applied successfully but I get "Something went wrong. Please try to check out again." after confirming the purchase.

    • No problems for me, but I did click and collect.

      • +1

Me too, click and collect in Tempe, but still no luck. Damn!!

  • Guys, 75P8 for $2400 or 75P7 for $1996?

Worth the $400 difference for Quantum Dot? That's the only difference I can see in specs on paper. Already bought a P8 but considering returning and getting P7 or from here. :(

  • 65p7, selling like hot cake.
    Last 15 mins, Sold 7.

Seems like everyone was waiting :)

  • Can't seem to apply the discount…. trying to get https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Bosch-SMS40E08AU-Stainless-S…

When I apply it says "This code can't be applied to your order." - Any clues?

    • tried it with another account and it worked…. go figure…

  • Is the 55"P7 good value for $876?

    • I would like to know as well..

    • Good but not best price.

  • Got a Go Pro, Thanks for posting!!! Hopefully this is the best price ever

Hi. Noob here.. Which should I choose?

LG 75UK6500PTB 75"(189cm) UHD LED LCD AI Smart TV

    Or

Samsung UA75NU7100WXXY 75"(190cm) UHD LED LCD Smart TV

    Price is the same

  • Can someone recommend a wall mount for the 75" hisense?

  • Hi all, Hisense P6 for $956 or Hisense P7 for $1200 + $158 (delivery). Thank in advance. Cheers

  • Bought the Hisense 75p8 for 2400 on the ebay store, got it delivered the next day and all set up.

Felt like I was taking a big risk buying Hisense for first time, have to say the tv is perfect. Have it set up next to a 65 inch Samsung Nu8000 and picture quality is great at all resolutions.

    Highly recommend.
