    Good price however I dont understand.. it's showing up as $40.69 with no coupon, then the coupon gets added and the price jumps up to $55.15 and the coupon lowers it to $38.60 for me. So it's only a ~$2 saving roughly?

      The normal price is $36.99 US, but GeekBuying are already having a sale on the item so my coupon drops that sale price even lower to $25.89 US for OzBargain.

    My favourite gaming mouse of all time. Absolutely excellent for FPS. I'm assuming these are old stock - so expect the dreaded double left click after 2-3 years. Who cares at this price.

          DeathAdder 2013 and DeathAdder Chroma are affected by the 'double click' that apparently has a 2-3 year lifespan. The one in my post is neither of those models.

      Have the elite atm, main differences are the 2 re-programmable DPI buttons under the scroll wheel and the chroma rgb lighting. Razer also claims the elite has a "50 million click life cycle" vs 10 million on the essential not sure how true that is but the elite has lasted me a few years with no issues.

      The DeathAdders are just really well made, comfortable mice. There isn't anything inherently special about it, but as I said about this will be my third one. They're really good!

      Dpi past 2000-3000 isn't really necessary for most purposes. It makes windows desktop a twitch fest (I'm hoping you have mouse acceleration off)

      Hell, most pro cs players still play at 400dpi.

      Dpi isn't an effective way to measure mouse quality (past a certain point). You really want to have a look at lift off distance, straight line correction, positive/negative acceleration, mouse size/shape, weight, sensor type etc.

      My favourite test is the tilt slam test :P
