    Got one, thanks

(Using my $30 amazon gift card that they gave me when they cancelled my 10tb hard drive orders!)

  • +3

I’d love to buy it but I lost all of my travellers cheque’s

  • So sorry for the n00b-ness, but are these only for usb-c phones? Or are they used with a usb-C to say, lightning cable to charge a iphone faster?

Would this be suitable for a Dell XPS (the only usb-C device i have so far!)

    Thanks guys :)

    • +5

These are for non-USB-C/PD type chargers. QuickCharge 2 and 3 are not USB-PD compatible (QuickCharge 4 is).
These are more for micro-USB phones though some USB-C Android phone are QC-2/QC-3 type.

Dell XPS - best to avoid this, unless you don't mind slow charge at 5V (basically these are no better than non quick charge mobile phone chargers for XPS (which uses USB-PD)).

    • +4

This has a QC 3 USB A female socket. You can use any USB A to micro/C/mini/iphone cable.

This is not a USB PD capable charger which is what you need for your Dell XPS ( check the required A/Watts needed to charge when in use/turned off/whatever your needs are ).

      • +3

@netsurfer @ozhunter68 thank you very much for the clarification !

  • +3

Bought em, guess you can't go wrong (pun avoided) for the money. Never hurts to have a spare around.

  • +5

ozbargain is mostly people who want stuff dont really need them cos i am sure most of them already have it and they just want another one. i am in the same boat

  • +2

Too bad it does not come with the usb cable too

  • cheers OP . Punted

  • +1

A good USB cable deal to go along with this would be welcome.

  • +2

Could use these with some 8.99$ prime delivered wireless chargers? Can vouch for these!

    • Thank you grabbed 2 and can't wait to test out with this QC chargers.

    • Thanks - I got one of these.

  • Is there any QC4+ chargers available with AU plug?
Waiting for the next refresh of Blitzwolf QC4+ compatible charger but I wonder how long it might take them to release one…

    • I have been waiting for this too! Haven't found anything with QC4+ in AU Plug yet… :(

  • +3

I understand why people want these. However, at this price, don't expect good quality. Due to the use of the QC2/3 chipset, the chipset provides most of those features mentioned: over current protection, over temp protection. It does hide some of the inferior circuit design.

Foldable plug design - I am cynical about this one. For AU plug, foldable plug design is unusual. It's common for US/JPY/CN plug. This suggests copy and paste description elsewhere. Anyway, due to the use of the QC2/3 chipset, you won't notice any issue initially.

    • +1

I think the description is wrong. It's note fordable plug.

    • +1

I seriously doubt it's even QC certified as it claims as I certainly don't see it in the list.

  • so usb 3 works with any mobile phone?

    • +2

This charger has nothing to do with data. The USB socket is most certainly USB 2.0 USB-A.

Some flagship phones do support USB 3.0, most of them use USB-C. The cable matters if you want USB 3.0 speed.

      • Yeah i like speeeeeeeeeeeed

  • +5

OP, white ones here for the same price.

    • Original deal expired, but Thanks heaps for your link, grabbed the 3 pack which works out cheaper than this deal.

  • Is it me? Or is this no longer valid?? Price is now $ 25.99?
    I would have bought it….

    • These have been the same price a few times this week.
If you don't mind white, you can currently get two or three for the same price.

  • +2

Seems a bit wasteful to use up an entire plug for just one USB socket. I also don't like AC plugs that are tall and thin like this. It makes them wobbly and unstable when you plug and unplug. They come loose a lot.

Blitzwolf for a few bucks extra make AC adapters with two plugs, some with 18W PD.

  • Since they are white wong someone mistaken them to be iphone chargers?

  • -4

Captain Sum Ting Wong! Wi Tu Lo. Ho Lee Fuk. Bang Ding Ow!

    • Obviously someone didn't get the memo

  • 2 Wongs don't make a right.
