  • No 2080 Ti bundle? :(
Also literally none of these links work.
    Oops..?

      • I'd also like to see 'dang' and 'ya'll' removed from conversation. Historically they were only used by married cousins talking to each other, now it's 'trendy'.

        • -4

were only used by married cousins

          savage

I see your two other comments end with a 'lol'

You literally replied to my post.

          • @nikoris: Huh.

It's a good thing you wrote 'literally' because i thought you were exaggerating.
Can we please literally STOP using 'literally' in literally every sentence?

            /facepalm

    • Which CPU for Ti system are you after Zazer?

      • +1

Honestly I was thinking of going for the R5 2600, but at the price point of $2089 from your deal earlier I was working out and it was practically the same price to build it myself unfortunately, and I could pick and choose my parts. (Though I am quite nervous when it comes to building, have never built before)

Unless you guys put out a smoker of a deal I reckon I might just wait until Ryzen 3 comes out and go from there :)

        • Yeah it's not a card we get pricing on so it's just a case of whatever discount is available at the time on those.

          • @luketechfast: That's fair enough, just a bit disappointing is all. But it does mean I will be forced to learn to build myself! So that will be exciting :)

  • +1

bottom links are not live yet.

    • none are live LOL

      • +4

It was picking up the : . Should all work now!

        • Looks good, works now :)

    • +4

I think they’re fine, people seem to like them, and personally I think one a week is great. Besides, they’re posting a deal based on a discount code. That’s what people do, and it’s different each time anyway.

  • +19

Good, it’s cheaper than Apple’s monitor stand that just announced this morning

    • +1

Came to make the same comment.

And I thought we already had April Fools Day this year.

    • What an absolute crock that is.

    • +1

      unaware of said stand
      checks news
      ….lol

  • lot of the links dont work

    • none do, lol!

      • It was picking up the : . Should all work now!

  • Uh Luke might have clicked post too early? None of these links work mate!

    • It was picking up the : . Should all work now!

  • Just wanted to say that I recently received my r5 2600 1660ti system and couldn't be happier for the small amount spent. Superb value for money after ebay discount and 10% off ebay from woolies

    • Great to hear, thanks for sharing!

    • Please explain from woolies?

      • Few weeks back you could get $100 ebay giftcards at woolies with 2000 free ww points (essentially $10 off next shop each time)

  • The prices are insanely cheap that's for sure.

  • Does the monitor upgrade apply to the official website purchases (thats not shipped yet :O? )

    • +1

      Yep!

  • +1

I'm waiting for ebay to include techfast in one of their 20% off sales. Plan to then pick up the Intel + 2080 deal.

  • What's the resolution of the 27" monitor? 1440p?

    • +1

Listed as usually AOC E2770SH, so 1080p

      • Thanks

    • Post says aoc :) curious on model also

    • Yep almost certainly APC E2770SH

  • Is is come with operation system?

    • Win10 should be installed on drive, but unactivated.

      • Correct

        • May I ask how to activate it ? Just start the power and follow several steps? Sry know nothing about that.

  • +2

how the hell can you do a system with a 2080 for that price? the card on its own is $1,000 ?

seems too good to be true?

    • +1

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it's the galax 2080 model, which hasn't had the best reviews so far. That might be one of the reasons it's so cheap.

      • +1

If it is the Galax then yeah the 2080ti have issues artifacting and crashing in Benchmarks. Allegedly due to the Micron memory the cards use. (Some RTX cards use Samsung memory and don't appear to have this issue) You can resolve the issues previously mentioned by running the card at lower memory speeds as shown in MSI afterburner. https://imgur.com/1p6pIfB (memory slider is all the way left)

I see you are new to the ways of the Fast

    • Be a brand, get discount from suppliers when buying bulk, build systems and sell at good values. TechFast has been doing this for a while.

  • What brand is the PSU in the 2080 system? The last two PCs I got off eBay had dodgy no-name brand PSUs which blew up within a couple of years, so I’m rather wary now…

    • It is generally Allied (an exclusive brand to us we have used in the majority of builds for the last year) or another approved brand. The 80+ Gold upgrade is generally Thermaltake or Corsair or Coolermaster.

    • PSU seems to be Thermaltake 750W, so not the best but it's average. Though I'd definitely replace it within the year, before the 12 month warranty expires on the build.

      • We don't have the TT Litepower in at the moment mate.

        • my bad then! I'll quote Allied in the future then :)

  • Anyone know when we can expect a site wide voucher for ebay?

    • I'd say last week of eofy. expect better deals that time as well.

  • hi guys,
can you please recommend which bundle is good for pubg and gta 5?

    • i believe they had a 1660Ti deal a while back. Wait for them to put that up again I guess.

      • The Ryzen 5 GTX 1660 systems should do the trick value wise. You can add the 1660 Ti as a $99 upgrade via the link in the listings.

  • These are always amazing bundles, but I'm curious as to why there is never any RTX 2060 bundles?
Not that I want one, as I have one of my own paired with R5 2600, and it does awesomely.
Just curious, since it's similar performance and price to GTX 1660ti and has raytracing, yet the first RTX card offered jumps to the more expensive 2070.

This is not meant to be a troll post or anything. These deals are amazing, just intrigued.

    • All good. Just hasn't been a popular card for us. Maybe the performance of Ray Tracing on this card versus our price point for the 2080 makes it too tempting to go up.

  • I hope you guys offer the same deals when Ryzen 3rd gen comes out. Would be buying a 3700x and a 2080ti.

    • See you in July :)

      • 3900x and 2080ti please, tax return will be well spent this year :D

  • Been eyeing for a gaming PC for my 12 years old boy. Any good recommendation that does not break the bank (under $1K). He mainly plays fornite.

    • The Ryzen 5 GTX 1660 or Ryzen 3 RX 570 8GB system or bundles would be great!

    • +1

If he already has a monitor, then this deal would do perfectly for just $750! Unsure if you're aware but Fortnite is actually not that demanding of a game, so if he only plays that and other basic games then you could probably also get away with an even cheaper build for just $600.

If he doesn't have a monitor and/or mouse/keyboard, the $750 deal can add a monitor and kb/m for $100 more, total of $850, or the cheaper deal is also an extra $100, total of $700.

Let me know if you need any further clarification! :)

      • Appreciate the effort in this post!

        • 👍

  • Would welcome any recommendations on best specs for a pc for $800 not incl monitor and OS. thanks.

    • +1

      This one: Ryzen 5 2600 GTX 1660 6GB 120GB SSD 8GB DDR4 Gaming PC
      System: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/192899159017 : $749.70

with a 1660 Ti upgrade if you can go $50 over $800 is best bang for buck. Well over $1000 elsewhere.

    • +1

Can't do much better than this for $750, under $800. That's if you must stay under $800.

  • Luke just bought a rtx 2080 / ryzen / b350m build off your website
Its been a **** week but thanks to you legends I got something to look forward to, you guys are building me a dream.
Thanks heaps bro to you and all involved.

    • 👍

  • +1

I expect that there is a backlog and getting your PC won't be fast. I placed an order 12 days ago and it's yet to be built. When I ordered there were people posting that they received theirs in 5 days. Luke mentioned that 7 is the norm but my experience is showing that it's slower now.

    • Can you PM your order details? Unless it's missing a specific component it should have shipped. There's no backlog atm.

  • +1

I picked up my ryzen 5 2600/ rtx 2080 last week and couldn't be happier. Though I did find it funny how ALL the cars parked at the front of the company were either a BMW or Mercedes XD

    • 👍

  • Sorry if this has been answered. What B350 is used for upgrade?

  • Hi Luke,

Will you entertain a custom order to upgrade to a dual screen setup and add an additional stick of 8GB ram?

    Best regards,

    • Yep, please email Callum via [email protected] and we can process the upgrade separately. The second monitor would not have the 10% discount applied because eBay are funding the deal and we can't put it through there, but the additional RAM can be purchased as an upgrde through OPC Upgrades in thge listing,.

  • Hi Luke,

I ordered a pc last saturday, am i able to get the monitor, keyboard and mouse bundle?

    Thanks!

    • I'm sure it will be fine. Can you pls email [email protected] and Callum can process the amendment for you.

      • Thanks! :)

Is the build time 7 business days? If i ordered on 1/6/19 do you think i can get it by 14/6/19?

        • It should be fine mate. Feel free to stay in touch via PM. Easier to find the notification than on a comment thread.

  • Looking for recommendations for my 12 yrs old youtuber who needs to record his games /edit the videos etc for youtube.
    Mainly plays Minecraft/fortnite.
    Thank you.

    • +1

Depends on how much you want to spend

The 1660ti Ryzen 5 bundle should be good enough but if you can afford it go for the Ryzen 5 2070 or 2080 bundle

Try to upgrade the RAM to atleast 16GB though and get more a bigger SSD for his games and probably a 1-3TB storage for his recordings and other software

      • Thank you very much for the advise on upgrades . I like the Ryzen 5 with 1660ti deal but wasn't sure if it was going to be good enough.

    • Freestyle is spot on!

  • Hi Luke,

    With this Ryzen 3 2200G 120GB SSD 8GB DDR4 Gaming PC, can I add more harddisk/ssd and my 1060?
    Cheers,

    • We have HDD upgrades available which are an additional drive. The SSD Upgrades replace the drive in the base configuration listed. You can add your own gear yourself and many customers do. The only complication is if a warranty issue arises and investigation reveals one of your components to be the cause, there may/will be implications.

      • cheers

  • hi Luck, when i can receive it if i order today
