Don't take me wrong but Shopback is really leading the game against CR. Hardly any miss in tracking.

Deal is great and +1 but don't want to spend unnecessary time in chasing CR for tracking post purchase.

SB has 15% for shaver shop while CR has 7%
SB has 12% for Dell while CR has 8.7%

    • +11

I've had no problem with tracking with either, but I do like to support businesses that initiate the discount rather than match it.

ShopBack has been leading with the cashback bonuses in recent months.

        For AirNZ :

Cashback on Flights to NZ and North & South America When Travelling in July: 5.00 %

        So be mindful with CB

Given they use the same affiliate networks for the most part, not a CR issue I'd say.

But shopback have definitely been upping their cashback game - in the end this arms race benefits 1 group of people: us the users.

Will be interesting to see how Cashrewards going public changes any of this.

      • +1

Given they use the same affiliate networks for the most part, not a CR issue I'd say.

If they use the same affiliate network then isn't it definitely Cashrewards issue?

        • -1

No that would be user error. If the affiliate doesn't track then CR won't track either.

        • Exactly, I'm not blaming the user tho 😉

      • Have to agree… SB has been gaining more market share. Now I've got a pile of funds on CB and their deals are msot of the time better. CR just like that lost significant market share.

        • When they go public suddenly the whole industry will get a lot of attention.

  • How long until the EnergyAustralia signup is tracked?

    • EA transactions are a manual reporting process. We are updated on sales by EA up to twice per week. So 7 days is worst case scenario. Thanks.

      • Thanks Rep for the updates!
In case I decide to leave within 180 days after signup will that affect the cash back?

I'm hanging for another AliExpress deal. I've got $1,000 I want to drop on a CNC machine.

    • You're brave.

    • Yeah, I'd like to get a GPD Win 2 but it would help if the discount was up to $100 instead of $50 so that a $1,000 transaction was covered.

      Would make it ~$800.

  • Will purchases through the Lenovo student store be eligible for CR cash back?

    • Unfortunately not. Just received confirmation from Lenovo:

Purchases made through Lenovo's student store, including staff, corporate and negotiated offers (phone/email/chat) are ineligible for Cashback.

  • does the lenovo 11% track using the TA-E595 code?

    • For sure. Please see here and here.

  • Can you claim a cashback if you pay for goods with Zip or Afterpay?

    • Yes, that's fine.

      • Damnit, Did not know that as I just used Zip to purchase a Lenovo laptop. Goodbye $120 bucks.

        • okely dokely

  • Can we use "shave10" for shaver shop and still get cash back with the purchase? Thanks

    • Unfortunately this code is unlisted on Shaver Shop's affiliate channel, so we can't promote it on site. Having said that, if you need to buy anyway, it doesn't hurt to try with the code. If it fails to track, this would be the reason why.

  • When will cashrewards support agoda android app? Competitor already support app tracking

    • +1

App-to-App tracking requires work via 3rd party affiliates and we're looking at having a heap of merchant Apps active soon.

      Competitor already support app tracking.

According to their terms, they don't support Agoda App tracking. See here.

Hi ozbmm. Had a lot of requests to bring this back, so we have a special offer from 10:30am AEST today (Sunday) until midnight AEST which is even better than previous. Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the terms on the link below. Rates will be as follows:

      https://www.cashrewards.com.au/energyaustralia

      • Cashback for New Gas & Electricity Signups: $155 (was $112)
      • Cashback for New Electricity Signups: $110 (was $70)
      • Cashback for New Gas Signups: $60 (was $40)

Also note that EA transactions are a manual reporting process. We are updated on sales by EA a maximum of twice per week. So tracking can take up to 7 days in worst case scenario. Thanks, and have a great Sunday :)

      • +1

You are awesome TA! Thank you and have a great Sunday too!

      • Quick question, I was with EA electricity and gas 12 months ago then switched electricity only to another provider. Will I get $110 for signing up electricity with EA again even if I’m currently with EA gas?

        • +2

Andrew here from CR. That is a new one which we will need to clarify with Energy AU tomorrow. Below is the relevant term and it is ambiguous in relation to your query.

"Cashback will only be paid on new EnergyAustralia accounts, which includes existing EnergyAustralia customers moving into new premises. Existing EnergyAustralia customers who switch to a different EnergyAustralia plan/plans at the same premises will not be eligible for cashback."

We will get back to you tomorrow and will extend the increase for you tomorrow if the offer is available for you.

Going forward we will have this scenario added to the terms.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

          • @ahc99: Thanks Andrew. Hopefully ok with EA as they’ll be getting a new electricity business.

          • @ahc99: Just tried to sign up anyway and couldn’t complete the process as I have solar panels :-(

  • I've just missed this and the Sony increase.
You may get this alot but is there anyway to be informed on when the next special/increase will be?

  • Cashrewards site not working for me tonight. :(

Will be back shortly. Tech is all over it. Thanks.

      • Thanks for the quick reply.
Was hoping to check the CB rate for Dell and make a purchase tonight.

        • 8.4% until midnight Friday :)
