    • Good question — I'd be interested to the answer to this too. Thanks in advance.

Aww, they only have monitors up to 27" listed.

      Any only the 1080p ones!

  • Says it takes up to two weeks for shipping. Flying overseas in a week. Is this eligible for TRS and any way to fasten shipping time?

    • No you have to have the item.

  • Hi all,
Can someone tell me what TRS is pls?

    • Thank you.

So even if you're just going on holiday you can do that?

      Seems like a loophole ahah

      • The asset should be declared when coming back and you should then pay tax on it.

        • It seems you should only do that if its worth 900AUD +
          Just read the t&cs

When you come back into the country you have a $900 (ex GST) allowance per person which technically applies to goods bought overseas as well. The TRS is to encourage you to buy here before going overseas rather than buying overseas (other countries have similar schemes). The government figures if they miss out on the tax revenue from you buying overseas anyway, it might as well be a local business which makes the sale rather than a foreign one.

There were 72 people in front of me in the trs queue in Sydney a week ago. Leave plenty of time. There was one queue regardless if you did the barcode online thing.

@Robc: Also, make sure you have any receipts printed on paper, sometimes they are unstaffed and require you to just put a receipt in a box.

They price jacked the laptops ……

    • If so, report to ACCC. Kogan just got taken to court for the same thing I think.

  • Urgh, has anyone had any luck with credit card price cover protection for eBay purchases? Westpac Altitude Black, if it matters.

  • I am considering to get this one: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-XPS-15-9570-Laptop-8th-Gen-…

Does anyone know if there is an option to upgrade to Windows 10 Professional? Also how do I add Microsoft Office in the order?(Is there an option to do that)?

  • YAY!! I am so glad to see this!! I placed an order Friday to avail of the 12% cashback and Dell cancelled it. This gives me a much better deal!! YAHOOOO … thanks OP!

Now if they would only add more monitors to the ebay range! lol

  • No Chromebooks which sucks as I'm looking to buy one.

    • -1

yeah Chromebooks do suck. just get a surface pro.

  • Thank OP for posting this deal.

Grabbed the last Inspiron 15 5575 laptop.

  • Of course I had to have purchased on the 23/6 on the Ebay store. Would have saved $350 if I waited a day

    • cancel and re-order?

  • Code no longer works, trying to add it multiple different items that have the coupon listed with it and the checkout gives an error "Unfortunately, this code no longer works. Please continue with your order."

Edit: on second thought, it seems they're conducting maintenance on eBay currently. Might be related to that
