Looks like they listened, and gave us ice creams and 90g chips. Shame they didn't give us full size sausage rolls like they used to, but oh well.
still don't understand the hype over these. alot of those items are cheaper in the supermarket, especially when they are on sale.

I'm usually a donut person (order of preferrence - long jam+cream, strawberry iced, sugar coated jam filled, no chocolate ones).
they sold out and I tried a orange and poppy seed muffin. I have to say it was excellent.

Fantastic! I couldn't get the Doritos at $1, even though it states it on the website and in the description above. My colleague went to another store in Melbourne CBD with the same result. The flyers in store in the windows only say Smiths 90g. Anyone else have the same experience?

I went to 3 different stores in Melbourne CBD,none of them had doritos. Only burger rings,twisties,smiths and cheetos.
I got a slab of 300ml mother for $24. Which I believe to be quite cheap. The assistant said her boss does not care how much I purchase… but they expire in early August, so I stuck with just the one slab. Also got 10 cherry ripes and a chocolate drink. Good value in my opinion.

I honestly can't imagine Mother ever expiring. It's damn near radioactive. Maybe that's why I like it so much.
That's alright if you like mothers. I prefer V and tend to stock up when its $6 for the pack of 4 'super-size' in the supermarkets. 4 of them gets you 8l, 24 300ml is 7.2l. Both for $24. It's annoying how only the small size is on special now.
Store was completely empty when I went in.
Picked up a slab of mother, some muffins, some burger rings and some drumsticks. plus a chocolate bar just cause.
I must say, the muffins are good value for $1.

My local had heaps of stuff.
I got 2 pies, 2 sauasage rolls and 2 packs of 100g twisties. All but one twisties is now gone, and I feel extremely sick in the stomach.
Need to get my lady to drop in for icecreams on the way home.
By the time I finished my $1 pie, my $1 Drumstick was melted. I will console myself with my 5 $1 strawberry milks but may take my time drinking my 48 $1 Mothers.

No problem getting a drumstick from St Leonards. A bit wonky but it was the only one left of that flavour and that's what I care about. Nice energy hit for the walk home.
Ended up just buying 2x drumsticks and 2x choc muffins, couldn't think of anything else that I wanted.
Also, it's never too cold for ice cream!
The Coburg (VIC) store on Bell St is out of milk (except banana) as of 6pm but still has heaps of everything else on the list.
yeah the milk is the first thing to go. mother is normally last.
Went to my local one today at lunch and bought a bit. The only downside was when one of my staff decided to have a good look at everything I was eating for lunch )which naturally was 100% $1 specials. One milk alone was 22% of daily calorie intake - then add in a snack pie, snack sausage roll, a drumstick, and I basically shouldn't eat anything else the rest of the day :(
I was so sad, I had to have a Mothers to make myself feel better…
I assume from the phrase "one of my staff" that you supervise other people. Perhaps just tell them that as someone who is in charge of others, you need to eat for multiple people so you're still well under your recommended daily intake?
