I bought this the other day when it was $509 (with a 15% coupon) and Shopback was doing their $60 cashback. This deal is basically just as good. Think it's only valid for eBay Plus members.

On the topic of 1440p 144hz 27" monitors; they have the just-released LG 27GL850 at $637

Shhhhhh! Don't want them to price jack ;)

      • Just ordered, managed to sneak in there before it jumps to $880 like everywhere else on eBay.

    • I just bought this from scorptec :( I wish I saw this before

  • OP, how do you find the monitor? Happy?

    • Hasn't even arrived in the post yet.

I own one of these monitors, and have been really happy with it (love the tear-free game-play). The only criticism I have is that the factory image configuration is pretty bad, so you need to jump into the menu and change your colour balance, brightness and contrast, then the picture quality is actually really good (especially for the price)

While it's a Freesync monitor, it works just fine with adaptive sync on Nvidia cards from the 10 series on without issue (my RX2060 does freesync over Display port with it just fine). Just don't forget to jump into the monitor menu and enable Freesync, as my monitor came with it turned off by default!

    • Where is Freesync in the menu, or is adaptive sync Freesync? Upgrading from a !080p monitor, I'm definitely impressed so far. I was expecting a framerate hit on my games but haven't noticed any slowdown at all.

  • I saw on reddit somewhere that this panel has a lot of issues, is that true?

Keep in mind the kogan 34" ultrawide. Often comes down to around this price
You lose 44hz but gain the ultra wide (extra resolution/space) and curved screen. Both VA screens

I personally am more than happy with my 75hz on current screen so 100hz would be far more than enough. Im more of an eye candy dude, putting settings towards the game being pretty, so extra resolution is better than extra hz to me (when talking about it already being 100).
Just saying my thoughts on the situation as im thinking of upgrading and maybe someone else will be wondering about these things.

    • I'm really interested in both the kogan standard qhd and the ultrawide, because they are at least $100 cheaper than the competition last I checked. I'm just not so confident on the brand name.

      • You should be able to find the previous deals posted here and look at the discussion and thoughts from people who have bought it.
From what i've seen the ultrawide kogan monitor sounds pretty great.

        • Yeah the ultrawide looks really nice. I'm concerned about the longevity though and rma process if I do get a few dead pixels (I hate buying large items online because I live in WA so shipping times and return costs are a pain) . Also I only have a ryzen 1600 + 1070 so I don't know how many games I could play on that monitor with the native resolution.
