@alidli: I've met many CEO's of Australian businesses, very similar to Boost, and they in general think how they run a business can be applied to all aspects of life, and they will make sure to tell you that they the given scenario is like running a business.
@alidli: Haha nah contractor, work with many small-medium businesses in Australia and often chat with their CEO's briefly, and get to listen to work speeches etc. I feel like majority are twats for sure - the type that can't even be bothered to learn names of second level employees kind of twats.

Why was Australian survivor all about stupid challenges where you have to stand in stupid positions for long periods? The final was just the stupidest final challenge. I couldn't believe how stupid it was. Let's torture them, the heavier they are, the worse it will be, let's not have any mazes or athleticism, let's base it all on who can take pain only and is light.

More of a good thing isn't always bad. It was the best Australian survivor season, hopefully will get better next year.

@iamhurtin: I was in your shoes about a year ago, I hate reality tv show normally. My sister was watching it, and I watched a single episode while she explained the whole game, and I watched the whole season in the weekend with her. I then proceeded to get a number of free trials with the ten app and watch a bunch more American survivor.
It's a complex game, and watching people navigate the game, and it's strategies is extremely interesting. physical strength, social game, strategies, challenges, blind sides, voting, tribes, mergers, so many aspects. There are some epic seasons too. I would highly recommend giving it an actual try, preferably watching it with someone who has watched it before and understands it.
Just remember, before netflix, we watched ads, and we survived, and so will you. If you pay for it, you don't get ads btw. OR use a free trial.

The Australian one has had 6 seasons? Really not that different
The Australian one in its current format and done by channel 10 has had 4 seasons. The season that finished last night is listed as season 4 on Tenplay. Needless to say they won’t be taking anyone from the other two abomination seasons done by other networks 15+ years ago. Therefore basing an All Stars season on just what they’ve aired really is that different from the US doing All Stars after 7 seasons. They’ll be inviting back literally a quarter of the people who have played as “all stars”.
They may draw from the American series also, who knows.

@[Deactivated]: Exactly, and season 1 this time around had a cast that didn’t exactly scream all star. I’ve never seen Survivor have such an emphasis on honesty and integrity, things that rarely serve you well in the long term game.

I think this is closer to the Rupert situation and they'll give Luke yet another chance. Same person in 3 out of 5 seasons is a bit crazy. Given he didn't win playing the sympathy card, his current crowdfunding half mill should ruin his chances.
