Only marginally more expensive than it was on Steam when it was on sale. Good deal! By far and away the best comic-based game ever made and a fantastic game in general.

    • steam is PC only.

      • +1

…I am well aware that Steam is PC only.

My reason for the comparison was:
        1. PC games are always cheaper than console games
        2. Steam sales often have extremely good prices
        3. This is a console game that is close to the price of a PC game on sale on Steam - therefore this is an excellent deal.
        Fair?

  • This is a awesome game trust me too

    • I second that. Had a lot of fun playing this. Can't go wrong

Have we forgotten the numerous cheap games from their Mega Monday sale and not to mention 50-60% off Aus retail prices? Talking about ungratefulness. You are probably one of those idiots who read that it is most likely a pricing error but placed an order anyway and then ignorantly chose to believe its your God given right for them to honour that pricing.

        • +1

I fail to see the purpose of your post. My response was to point out your ungratefulness in hastily accusing Zavvi down as an unreliable internet vendor, when it simply had a pricing error (in that incident you lilnked); notwithstanding the fact that they had at numerous times advertised genuine bargains. Of course I know they still do make a profit margin on those cheap games, just as I know my bluray order will be cancelled as anyone with a common sense will know its too good to be true. Its only those plagued with greed will have that illusory belief that "it must be honoured its bait and switch" etc rubbish argument.

They are a large company and mistakes will happen. My positive experience > negative ones. Have a greater perspective. You can start by getting out of your home once in a while.

Do us a favour, and fade back into your normal state - irrelevance.

One does not donate $1 to UNICEF believing they will vanquish world hunger but one donates because they believe that it will make a difference.

Again I can show you the light, but if you choose not to then, I can only let the world wide web show your simplistic nature and absence of true well being.

Feel free to post here and show everyone the light.

Damn, I have run out of negative votes to give you.

      • Do you work for an Australian game retailer or something?

        • +1

          lol probably EB.

      • +1

It will take more than a pricing error to stop me shopping at zavvi and thehut. They have probably become the most popular sites on ozbargain and for good reason.

  • +1

Thanks to the O.P. for this. I managed to apply the Zavvi discount code many of us here got recently, which took the price down to less than $12 AUD - a true OzBargain!

    • -2

Does the extra 10% off really improve the deal for you?

      • +2

Yes, the discount code improves the deal by exactly 10% for me. :)

        • -1

So you wouldn't pay the extra dollar?

        • +3

Yes, I would pay the extra dollar and even at $13 delivered it is an excellent bargain. However, since I had a discount code I thought I might as well use it to save a further dollar. I'm not entirely sure why you seem to be so fixated on this; it was a bargain as originally posted and even more a bargain with the extra saving.

    • Where do you enter the discount code? When paying via PayPal I get all the way to the 'Confirm Order' stage with 'Place Order' button showing without the option to enter one.

      • Enter it here
        https://www.zavvi.com/zavvi/my.basket

        Just at the basket

        where it says

Got a discount code? Enter it here

      • give it to me … I'll enter it for you! ;P

        • +1

          quick question
you the white chick or the guy

        • If you send me a Zavvi code I'll let you know! ;) xx

  • Thanks!

Got it for $12 with the discount code. Hope I enjoy it… never played a Batman game in my life, but the reviews and fan talk over this has been really positive. Plus, I love the latest movies so it's worth a shot. :)

  • +1

Anyone have a spare zavvi discount code?
The ones i've tried are invalid :(

  • great game. old as, but well worth the 13 bucks lol!

  • Thanks OP. Got one :)

  • Never got my email from Zavvi explaining the price error and that order has been cancelled etc

  • Good game , I bought it when the hut had 3 for 10 pound (PC version), end up got double discount from the hut, 3 for 5 pound. :)

  • Very VERY good game, already got it on PC though. You won't be dissapointed.

I would use my %10 discount code but I'm going to wait till I make a bigger order for further savings.

  • +2

If anyone wants a 10% off discount code, here is mine from the deal the other day: 1424-992J-87GZ

    • Thanks :)

      • One Question: How to get this 10% off discount code?
Does Zavvi email you? As I ordered few games from Zavvi but no discount code in reply.

        • This was from their Blu Ray deal the other day, which was a pricing mistake. They emailed back with discount codes since the deal wasnt honoured.

  • +1

For anyone interested, Just Cause 2 is the same price and is hugely entertaining game.

    • Assassin's Creed Brotherhood for 12.85 pounds (about $19 AUD). Snapped that up as well. Cheers

    • wouldn't say entertaining, yes at the starting it's pretty fun but after a while it gets too repetitive to play till the end

  • Got one thanks.

Thank mythical creature for thehut and zavvi

Australia retail and web stores are doomed.

  • Does anyone have a valid discount code i could use ?

  • Not usually my type of game, but I'll still get it, so cheap!

  • Thx. How long do items from Zavvi normally take to arrive? Hopefully before the end of the school holidays so the kids can play it.

    • +1

      6-10 working days usually

    • when i bought a game it was 2 weeks for them to send it out then another 3 weeks in transit. you do need a bit of patience

    • I don't think I've ever had wait longer than two weeks for a game that was marked "will dispatch within 24 hrs" or "will dispatch within 3 days". Just be wary of those marked "normally ships within a month".

  • Been meaning to get this one for a while. Have heard nothing but good things about this game!

  • 10% code - 1424-BSW7-NCHJ

  • Awesome deal
pitty i didnt use the cuopon!

got too excited and bought it too quickly

  • Hi guys, does anyone have a spare 10% code thats not going to be used,my 3 year old daughter so kindly permanently deleted mine from my email :-( still lover her to bits though :-)
