Got a new excuse today - "code is not scanning". Closed the app and relaunched it, meanwhile he did transaction for next customer and then tried again and code worked.
The store I usually go to has had that problem in the past and the girl said that if I didn’t want to wait she would put whatever the item was behind the counter so I could get it on my way back in a couple hours.
Weird not showing up in my app
Admittedly I almost never eat sugary/sweet foods but in my opinion these are too sweet and they’re neither salty enough or chocolatey enough.
Also just experienced my first terrible coffee from 7-eleven, it is weak and bitter, although it might taste extra bitter due to the sweetness of the pretzel balls. I got a $2 cup and it tastes as if it is a $1 cup with extra water added.
On my way home, I carefully planned the route so that I could visit five 7-Elevens.
At the first 7-Eleven, there was no balls.
At the second 7-Eleven, there were two packets of balls left.
I could see mould on balls, and I did not want to eat mouldy balls.
Luckily, the shop manager brought out a box with fresh balls and asked me if I would like to have fresh new balls.
