For the last few months the regular price was ~$2.6k and with the usual 20-30% sales it brought it down to around the $2k mark.

I noticed the new low regular price of $2K a few days ago, however it was excluded from the current 34% off monitor sale. However when i checked it today, it was suddenly included in the sale.

It could be a possible mistake or maybe this is really the new low price. Either way this is the cheapest as its ever been.

I was originally planning to get a Samsung CRG9 due to the high refresh rate, but at nearly half the price of a Samsung CRG9 i'm willing to live with the 60hz as i tend to use the monitor more for productivity than hardcore gaming atm.

          Most GPUs in the last 7-8 years will have multiple outputs to run monitors. I used to run 2 monitors directly from my 970,- 1 on Display Port, 1 on HDMI- also had a DVI on there too, so theoretically could have had a third screen on it.

      For me, curved screens don't look good with Excel.

        Depends on the size of the curve for 34" monitors 1900XR is unnoticeable for me, but this one is 3400XR at 49" the curve is pretty much flat as well. You'll only get distortion from looking at the far left and right from sitting in the center of the screen

          I've never had much luck w/ Dell chat, they always give a higher price and say that's the best they can do after talking to finance. Then I say but it's cheaper on the website using coupons and they're well that's the best price.
          Recently bought an AW Area 51m, projector and monitor… tried over several weeks max extra discount I managed was about 1% off, and then you have to pay directly so you can't take your chances w/ cashrewards.

        you'd be able to charge a USB-C laptop or phone (or any other USB-C device needing power/charging)

        Especially useful for laptops as the one cable will do data/video/power

        I use it for my home office. I had a U3415W and was happy with that, but then it came up second hand for cheap and i just couldn’t pass up on it.

        I can comfortably say I probably don’t use all of the screen real estate as effectively as I could, but having multiple documents, spreadsheets, web pages, chat windows, etc all up at the same time. Effective especially when trying to compare content from two windows.

      Thanks could not have been easier went to chat said I saw it as this price .. they didn't even ask for confirmation just said they would email a quote with this price, I received and confirmed the priced ( and model was new not refurb) and then made payment. Easy.

              @ameno: a little bit dody feeling as I got a call from Dell to confirm my details (to be fair the rep did tell me finance may call) .. they then wanted to know if the email I supplied was my 'work' email.. it was not. Then he said he was going to email me and I need to reply to 'confirm the purchase' from my work email address.. I said my work has nothing to do with this purchase and he said it was for "security reasons". If this had happened yesterday I would have bought a 89c domain just to reply to this email just to make a point that this is in no way a security step .. they clearly need or want to harvest business info for marketing. I asked this and was told that it no t the case… we will see I guess.
