+1 Just for the beautiful formatting.

    • +23

Doesn't work on phone though, S10 can't see the price column! 😔

      • Can't see on note 8 either

      • +7

Change to full site mode and you’ll see the lot, or turn to landscape on mobile site mode :)

      • -1

        Turn phone in landscape

      • Can't see in portrait on Note9 either haha

      • Working fine on Nokia.

        • Working fine on my Sony Xperia lol

    • Agree, TA does it again

    • Me too, amazing :)

  • +7

Great deal, thanks! Also, thanks for the awesome formatting, I imagine that was quite an effort!

  • +2

Hopefully they have better deals on black Friday

    • yeh, that PS4 Pro price is pretty ordinary

  • +2

    Oohhh that rx10 iii

    • +2

pity they dont have the RX IV - cheapeast ive seen was $1800 - the Rx10 iii is cheapest with $100 off ive seen..

      Best to buy IV……

  • $100 off $600 spend.

    • +1

      Fixed. Thank you.

  • +5

    Good price on the STRDN1080!

    • Yeah it is but then I think Dam that thing is 2 years old. Dunno if I should pull the trigger on it.

      • +3

If you are thinking of using the app to remote control it, don't expect Sony to support it for more than a year. I bought a Sony reciever a few years back (str-dn850) and the app stopped working after a year. I had to side load an old version, which made updating all my other Android apps a total hassle.

      • Wait until 2020 as HDMI 2.1 AVRs are coming.

        • Thanks hoges and noise. Not gonna pull the trigger on it :)

  • +18

The discount is pretty meh tbh 😂

    • Ps. Thank you so much for posting this, TS :P

  • the one good 4k player is never on sale

  • Brilliant deal, last year I got a PS4 and they lost my order then refunded me so hopefully that's sorted

    • +8

they will again lose your order this year.

  • I'm only getting -$14 when applying the code on the A7R IV. What am I doing wrong?

    • +2

Try waiting for it to actually start.

      • +1

I checked a few of the other cameras and they are at the lower price. The A7R III is even lower than what's listed in the table.

Edit: looks like they fixed the A7R III price

So, if I want to stack a camera with the AMEX deal and the Cashrewards 5% off… which order should I do it in?

    • +3

Click through Cashrewards and pay with the Amex on the payment screen

      • -1

Because you are going thru Cashrewards not sure that the AMEX $100 will apply…

"Excludes transactions made through a third party establishment or payment processor"

        • With regards CR, AmEx at checkout for this Sony promo is fine. Have it approved by Sony themselves :)

        • That refers to payment processors such as PayPal. Cashrewards doesn’t process payments. It’s all to do with the entity that appears on the statement since that’s how they match it to the offer.

  • +8

    "Games PLAYSTATION4SLIM PlayStation4 Slim 500GB Console Black(store.sony.com.au) $440 $352 Capped 50 units"
I lol'd at 50 units. These have been $250 with a free new game on several occasions in the past, and no doubt will be again on Black Friday. So this sale is still 50% over-priced for these.

  • +1

    No 70200g? :(

  • Be careful before investing in SONy…I have Sony TV and tv program is locked for it to work with internet.

    • +1

      sorry what? any more info?

      • just need to register online with the serial number and make a sony account but if you don't it's locked.

      • I can't install app on my TV except the one Sony allow to install. I have Bravia series tv which connect to internet using Sony dongle.

Quality is exceptionally good even after using it for last 10 years. Just a warning that you check it's function before you buy.

        • +2

Ah! A blast from the year 2009.

I can imagine the joy you will have on your face when you buy a Sony Tv from 2019, where you will experience the wondrous nature of internet without wires a.k.a Wifi — no need for a Dongle( the chap that came up with that term must have led an interesting life). Also it will have that amazing Android technology where you can use voice commands (ooh!) And install third party apps(aah!) And even watch foxtel through an app WITHOUT THE WIRED FOXTEL BOX…… i will let that sink in for a moment…

          J.k….

  • +3

No coupon code is needed. Please remove it or it leaves the impression that the price will go even further down after applying it!

    • coupon is for free shipping

  • +4

Last year they cancelled most of the orders. Never again. TA gave me some workshopped answer.

I advised him to think about associating with offers that just let us down. Glad to see the message got through.

  • What's the max u can get back from trs?

    • 10%?

      • +2

Just a smidgen less than 9.1% on purchases with minimum cost of $300 inclusive of GST

      • I meant is there a maximum amount? Say u bought something for 50k … u get 5k back?

        • U will also go for an interview with them too

  • +3

These are normal sale price that we can get every day.

    • -1

Please let me know where I can find the Sony 55 a9g for under 3 grand anywhere?

      • Bought that exact model from Good Guys Ebay a month ago for about $2,700 during their extra 20% off sale.

You can get beat that if you stack with a 5 Amex cards (in Store).

        • -2

So not a normal price we can get everyday like the comment I was referring to.

  • +2

Did anyone see, "Thanks for visiting from Ozbargain"

    • +3

Harvey Norman says the same thing on his site. I don't think he means it though.

      • +1

He only thanks you for giving him money.

  • +9

    Those PlayStation deals are crap.

  • N/A

  • Awesome deals OP!

Did everyone miss the deal on the 85" TV? $3995!!

    https://store.sony.com.au/television-4K-X8500/KD85X8500G.htm…

  • Hi tightarse,
Could you please confirm if your table has the most up to date A9G series prices such as KD55A9G and KD65A9G?
These are showing $4419.15 and $6119.15 respectively for me or have I missed any special code to get the Frenzy prices?

      • +1

Thank you for the confirmation. After thorough testing and investigation, it appears this price error will occur if you are already logged on as Sony member. Once you log out completely, the prices displayed are the same as yours.

  • Is STRDH590 good value for the price ? For 5.1 system ?

  • Still waiting for a7iii at around $2100

    • +1

      Doesn’t this work out to be $2084 ($2299 - 5% Cashback - $100 Amex credit)?

  • Z9F was released on October 2018, IMO I think the price should be well under the 3K mark by now. Especially since 2020 is around the corner, they need to clear out all old stock. Let's hope it drops further on boxing day, or at least the A8G and A9G 65". MicroLED, MiniLED, QOLED technologies are coming sometime next year.

    • It’s a 288 zone full array local dimming 75” LCD with best in class video processing and almost 2000nit peak brightness.

It can only get so cheap.

      • Its only got a X1 processor, not Extreme or Ultimate like the 9500G series which is cheaper. Does it compare to Hisense 75P9 QLED with 1000+ dimming zones, 2500nit brightness…not to mention it was under $2360 just 4 months ago

        • Which Hisense model and deal was this?

        • -6

I forgot to mentioned they still use Edge LED which Sony has now discontinued due to poor sales. I know many would say Sony is incomparable to a Hisense which is true, but trust me, do you really want to spend $2000-$4000 of your hard earned cash on a Sony that gets you just 1 year warranty? Yes, extended warranty is an option but add another $300-400 for 2 or 3 years. Hisense gets you 3 years plus an additional 12 months consumer law warranty. They've really stepped up their game with the latest QLEDs, picture quality is really close to OLED which is surprising. It's another reason why LG have stopped OLED production, because cheaper brands such as Hisense and TCL are bringing out cheaper, more reliable TVs with better or on-par picture quality than higher priced LG, Sony and Samsung TVs. Too much competition now…but let the price wars begin!

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/473529

          • @koalafied: You, my friend, is what is wrong with this world….

        • Firstly it has the X1 Ultimate. Secondly the Hisense P9 is a complete write off because it cannot display DCI-P3 within a Rec.2020 signal properly due to poor picture processing. Thirdly the Z9F is definitely full array, not edge local dimming.

The P9 was an incredible piece of display technology I admit but it was crippled by bad Hisense engineering.

          • -2

@tp0: Sorry I mistaked it with the X85G 75, but still there are better value for money alternatives out there

  • +1

Should I pull the trigger for the A7II at this price point?

Is it still worth buying? Will be using it mainly for manual lenses.

    • Yes. If you don't like it after a month, you should be able to resell it at the $ you paid for it (take into account CR and AMEX). It's like getting a free rental.

  • HT-X8500 a good sound bar?

  • I wished they had a great deal on KD55x9500G or KD65x9500G. But they didn't, so I got this KD49x7000G instead. hope it is not a disappointment.

    • They have the 55" X95G for $1300 on their eBay store (box damaged). https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/283668295683

      • I saw that, but it is almost double in price when compared to $659 on KD49x7000G after all cashbacks.

        • That's because it's double the TV (and then some).

          • @tp0: Agreed, my budget constraints.

  • Soundbar deals are crap. Same prices at other retailers.

  • I'm after a Smart TV for the spare room, does anyone know if the KDL43W660F 43" W660F Full HD HDR LED Smart TV is any good?
EDIT: Realised this is non-Android so will pass

    • Better to get 4K instead of Full HD as it's almost the same price or cheaper

  • Is it worth getting the a6400 at this price or wait for black friday?

  • The 43X80G is discounted to the same price every other retailer has it for?

  • +1

Good deals but service from Sony is rubbish. Took months to get a tv replaced and won't fix my headphones that were damaged within 5 months only offered me 30 percent off a new pair lol

    • That doesn't sound right and is illegal.
