  • There is a 2% cashback from shopback for BOSE which bring it down to $78.35 :)

    • what about cashrewards? :)

      • +2

cashrewards offered 2.1% CB for Bose online.

  • +1

Cheap! Definitely a pricing error, I think they were supposed to be $179.

Placed an order anyway to use with my android devices. Never liked the look of these because they stick out of your ears so much, looking like Frankenstein’s monster, but for $80 why not!

    • +1

      It should be correct price:

      "Refurbished savings
First quality price $299.95. You save $120.

      Refurbished savings
First quality price $299.95. You save $100."

      $299.95-$120-$100 = $79.95

      • There is no point trying to understand the logic on the site I think, we just have to hope…

Haha, see next comment below, I rest my case

  • +1

    Nice.

FIXED PRICE OF $179.95 - YOU HAVE SAVED $220.00

    • SUPERCheap!

    • Don't worry, the guy I am selling them to will think they are new

    • @tanksimatra - You May not be the first, but does it really matter?

      (That’s what she said)

    • stay classy sinatra

  • Done deal, see if they honour

  • Tried my luck as well. Thanks for posting.

I'm never buying another Bose product again, can't trust their firmware.

189 pages of complaints about QC35II and Bose still hasn't solved the issue
    https://community.bose.com/t5/Around-On-Ear-Headphones/Bose-…

    • True, I have a similar issue with their SoundTouch 300 Soundbar, firmware and some weird issue, which take 6-12months to fix, but you can't beat Bose sound quality.

      • +1

but you can't beat Bose sound quality.

        Brace yourself

  • +2

Does anyone know if the 30 day free return policy applies to refurbs?

    • Yes, applied to refurb, and refurb also comes with 12months warranty.

    • Certainly they do read my comment below …

  • Thanks, even if you have me spend $$ on an item I really don't need… So many earphones already, I can stage an exhibition

  • Thanks! Grabbed one. Hoping it will be honored if it does turn out to be a typo!

Guys it’s not a pricing error just confirmed, with Bose employee via chat just for your reference please see the attached snapshot…they are trading these for $79. The CSO also told me that they are on really good conditions and are the ones that have been returned to them within the 30 day trial Period from the people who bought them orginally….they also provide 30 days resolution free trail on these ones just in case you guys change your mind..Hope this helps you guys pulling up the trigger ….

    • +10

Damm you, with this post, you took away all my excuses.

Mate sorry not trying be rude but I tried looking for options to upload the chat transcript but unable to do so ..is their a speacifix way to upload it ..if you can tell me will upload it now..

        • +1

You probably have to upload it to a generic upload website like imgur and post the link here.

I'd appreciate it if you post the screenshot.

          • -3

@bidam1: Please find the link below for my chat with Bose employee confirming it was not a pricing error and all the orders will be processed ..Thanks

            • +4

@Sunnyoz: Nice way to ruin a bargain, well played ;)

            • +3

@Sunnyoz: Thanks for ruining it for rest of us

        • Edit : please find the link for my chat here

          • +11

@Sunnyoz: Your chat confirms what annoys me about people. You already bought it so why the hell would you contact the company and alert them of potential price error? You do realise CS people are often clueless anyway right?

            Rant over.

            • +5

@keejoonc: to be fair, bose hq would've detected a potential price error when they receive 1000x more orders than expected within 30 minutes.

              • +2

@waterbottled: Maybe. Even so, it's bloody stupid and pointless to contact them just to ask whether they will be honouring the price. As if they will care what the CS said if they decide to cancel the orders later on.

          • +2

@Sunnyoz: Thanks for the effort mate but the bose "rep" is probably just unaware of the pricing error as they don't often talk to each other internally, like what BarginGrabber has mentioned below. Either way I won't be putting my hopes up on receiving this set of earphones but good luck to those who ordered..

            • @cray: Doesn't matter, could be a potential bargaining chip if they do cancel the orders lmao

    • +4

I wouldn't get my hopes up here.

I don't think the people running the chat and people who set the prices had direct contact with each other in this case.

I'm guessing that the employee in the chat probably just went to the listing, saw the two discounts listed, maybe checked to see other possible errors..saw none so thought it was legit.

I could be wrong, but I remember in the past similar things happening where live chat said it was legit but then 2-3 hours later people asked again and they would change what they had said previously after being notified of an error.

    • +4

Great work in alerting then to the error. Why would you ever contact the company when all this does is ruin the deal?

      • +2

Yep he killed the deal. Cheers. Sunny

    • Yes I figure that Bose does 30 days free return.

      Hence, there are many refurbished…

Very simple process as I have returned the bose wearable companion… this product was not in the way…..

  • Grabbed myself one! Thanks let’s see if they get delivered.

  • Grabbed some, cheers OP.

  • +2

If you are conscious about how they look, make sure to google what they look like on ear… They look ridiculous

    • +3

I think me being an old out of shape guy struggling to breath and looking like I'm about to have a heart attack should take the attention away from whatever is in my ears.

  • Ordered as soon as I saw this. Thanks OP.
Was looking for something to replace my current wireless earphones for the gym. Great timing!

  • +1

Thanks OP…ordered. Hope they don't come with free earwax.

    • -2

Since the website said they extensively test the product to ensure they meet their strict requirements, I bet you it would come with earwax from multiple people as part of the Bonus.

      • +4

The actual silicon bud tips are replaceable. I'm guessing all refurbs would have new tips

  • Damn they are out of stock

    • You can still order it, I believe.

    • Wow, lucky grab one 5mins ago, now out of stock.

    • Used Paypal, order went through.

  • Deal over

    • Strangely enough can still add to cart and checkout.

      • Hopefully they'll just send new ones once they run out of refurbs. ..Wishful thinking..

  • such a shame about the mic. dont know of any inexpensive wireless earbuds that have a decent mic :(

  • +1

    Ordered…now waiting for refund :)

    • -1

It's "Temporarily Out of Stock" and your still able to place the order so I would not say it's expired.

    • +2

You don't downvote because a deal has expired.

  • Says out of stock but still let me place the order. Nice find!

  • I had this and really hated it. Laggy on YouTube video and sound and very bulky to wear.

  • Still can go ahead with the order not sure what's gonna happen next…

  • Said low stock when I ordered but hey we’ll see how it goes.

  • Same here, can still order although out of stock. Worth trying.

  • Price has gone up to $199 now. So be careful before you order.

  • When you checkout, they're now $200

  • $199.95

    • $179.95

      • -1

yep. and idiots said my downvote was invalid instead of expired. go figure

    • zzzzzzz

  • grabbed one set no worries, then decided to go back for another and they're saying out of stock.

  • Yeah out of stock damn :/

  • Thanks OP - grabbed one just before going out of stock

  • Game over

  • +2

I don't think its a price error. They have actually mentioned the double discount, 100 off, then 120 off, that brings down to 80. I have ordered it. Next day delivery only for orders placed before 1PM, hmmm should reach by Monday. Keen!

  • Grabbed 2, needed a gift for a sibling and they needed wireless earbuds so win/win.

I hope they honour it, but doubtful.

  • Yup price has been corrected to $179.95

Expect refunds to happen en masse in the next day or so.

Cashrewards is tracking my cash back of $1.53 lol.

    • +3

class act on bose's part if they honour it. but you're correct, keep expectations LOOOWWWWW.

  • Just missed it! :'(

  • Anyone has experienced any syncing issue with video and sound?

  • Interesting clause in their terms of sale:

    1. Product availability
Product and price offerings are in force as long as they appear on the Website, and subject to available stock.

Mistakes or changes may exceptionally occur. In the event of unavailability of any product after ordering, Bose will inform the customer by email (or mail if he/she has not provided any email address) of the unavailability of the product(s) and of the delivery of a partial order or the cancellation of the order.

In case of complete or partial cancellation of an order due to unavailability of products, the amounts corresponding to the unavailable products will not be debited from the customer’s bank account. If the amounts have already been debited, the customer will be reimbursed the amounts paid for the unavailable products within thirty (30) days.

So no mention of what happens if a price error is to occur.

  • +21

They probably corrected the price after the guy on the previous page contacted the CS to confirm the pricing is correct.
    Nice job bro.

      • +5

Check out his chat too. Sounds like a little kid who can't wait to confirm whether this is a genuine price or not.

        • +3

100% lol. especially with the "???" after each question.

        • +12

If it's a price error, they're gonna be cancelling the orders regardless. There's no reason to be so condescending by calling him a child.

          • +7

@18: This is why I sometimes hate reading the comments on online forums..

            • +1

@cray: so salty because they couldn't get any

          • @18: If it's a price error I would expect them to honor it as they are the manufacturer, these are refurbished, they wouldn't have sold thousands of them and they would still be making money. To cancel these orders would be a PR disaster.

If they were priced at $7 or this was a retailer making a hundred dollar loss on each one I would definitely see this being cancelled.

            • +10

              @Maverick-au: "PR disaster."

              Oh please. LOL.

              • @Feeblely: Are you suggesting it wouldn't be bad PR and result in negative feedback, complaints etc if the cancelled hundreds of orders when they could fulfilled them and made a profit?

                • +1

@Maverick-au: I'd say at least 90% who bought were Ozbargainers, who usually half expect their order to be cancelled in these sought of deals.

    • Yeah… or it could be because they got like 500+ orders in a space of 80minutes but yknow… who knows right????
