    • I called up yesterday and received confirmation email at 2am this morning.

    • SO, I rang up yesterday…didn't get an e-mail after like 6 hours (someone else who called 1 hour later than me did get an e-mail).

      Called again, they said previous employee missed a letter in my email..so I gave them my correct e-mail at like 3pm yesterday.

      Didn't get the confirmation e-mail until 4am today

      Receipt arrived this morning along with tracking and item was delivered today also.

      • Hey Laggie - what did the reciept look like? I've got a 'tax invoice', but I'm not sure if that means I need to pay it (as the CC charge has gone away on my card???). I also got the paypal email, but I didn't pay by paypal.

          I already received mine and the charge has also gone through on my CC. There was no receipt, and just the 'tax invoice' that i received in my email. Maybe you lucky? Or maybe the charge will come through later on…fingers crossed for you, as it looks like someone else got it for free too.

    • I emailed them on the weekend asking if they could ring me when they can due to the wait times. they said they were too busy taking calls so they want me to ring them. Looks like I will have to wait on the phone too.

  • Think they are doing some form of service desk triage .. old mate takes the call and confirms details (1 hr 30 min wait), then has palmed me off to the credit card team ( back on hold)

    Okay, an hour and fifty minutes total. My situation was that I payed by PayPal, contacted them a few days after ordering to be told my order was rejected without notification, even though the money had already left my bank account and that I would need to email them proof for a refund.

    Called them again the next day, to be told the orders were now being fulfilled and I'd receive tracking soon.

    Got that damn email last night saying I had to call them to arrange payment. Sat on hold for an hour and 5 minutes. Told that I need to pay again, argued that I had already paid, and that I wanted the product I was already charged for.

    After them not being able to find my emails with my proof from the few days ago, I had to resend proof, was placed on hold for 20 minutes while they "check the inbox". FINALLY, once the lady came back on the phone, I was told that they will refund my money, and send me the earphones for free.

    Good outcome, but still disappointed with the mismanagement of this issue.

    • Based on how things were going I would not hold my breath.
      I paid again yesterday and I havent recieved anything, no confirmation nothing.

      If you get it for free thats great!

        I fully expect to have to chase them up again.

        I've never owned a Bose product and this will be the last experience I put myself through with Bose.

        Yup, I was told that they will refund my $79.95 and send me the earphones. Fully expect to have to chase them up again, I have a feeling this isn't over.

    Update: waited for 1 hour and 15 min, Customer care guy told me that all good for me, since i paid by my CC, all good, i think whoever paid by paypal is having an issue, i did received and email which was saying i paid by paypal and have to call them but i did pay by cc. guy gave me tracking number i should received it by Monday, Best luck guys.

        I only got the order confirmation on the day I purchased and I called to the hotline, the CS said you are so lucky, your order still processing, but it might be cancelled as well, you have to wait until Thur. I called again yesterday, they told me will be arriving by next Tue, but they don't provide me with any tracking and doesn't know when it will arrive, just told me to wait for the tracking email, I asked when will I get the email, they said before Tue. Finally, I received the tracking email this morning said on board for delivery and I got it today. It is refurbished product~

    • Everyone. Check you auspost app before you call up. It turns out my tracking number was already there… Could have saved myself the effort of making a call.

      • You're right, there's a tracking number here but it says it's been at the airport for 3 days, and that it was onboard for delivery yesterday and now there's no updates. Possibly they were recalled before they got delivered?

  • 1hr 25 to get through and they did answer the call after 5pm. They said there was still 1000 calls left in the queue. They told me my order has already been paid and is supposed to be delivered today (even though I received the email asking for repayment). They gave me a tracking number which shows it hasn't been despatched yet.

    Finally got thru and spoke with Marvin and will get credited $100. Waiting for confirmation email. If lucky, order will be shipped from Monday. The only issue will be when will PayPal credit be processed.

    Called before 5pm, just got off the phone with them, was about an hour and 10 min wait. They new straight away why I called and was put through via credit card. Really should have gotten two.

    Hey guys, try to ring bose now as they are still answering phone! I rang for a few minutes and they answer the phone in like 2 minutes. Finished the total conversation in less than 10 minutes. Get in now…

    Just got mine in a cardboard box saying factory refurbished not bad for 80 bucks.

  • Received a brand new black pair yesterday morning, recieved an email last night saying my delivery would be dispatched on Monday. Lol fingers crossed as I am made one order ($80).

    I never recieved an email with codes or cancellations and my original payment was processed via PayPal and was never cancelled.

  • Spoke to them yesterday around 12 but still no invoice, nothing on Aus Post login as well. I hope it turns around and at least get a blue one.

      Even at $299 RRP, they are worth it, the sound quality is amazing. So much better than the shitty AirPod 1 and 2.

  • Got no confirmation email about shipping but when I checked my auspost app, it’s already showing ‘it’s on its way’ for both the products I ordered. Strange, but okay. Finally. Good luck all.

    Came in the original box which had a factory renewed sticker on it.

    The headset and everything in the box looks new, cant see any issue with it.

    • Mine came in a brown cardboard box, which the renewed sticker on the top.

      • Mine came in a white cardboard box (with Bose Soundsport Free branding printed on it), with the factory renewed sticker on it.

        • My bad also received the same. White outside, brown inside.

  • So i received an email with an invoice from them. I haven't called them up, and i don't plan to.

    What does the invoice mean? I havent gotten a shipping confirmation or anything.

    • I would be happy to get an invoice. I would expect invoice first, then shipping later sometime. I have neither on my order yet. Just the original "Thank you for shipping at Bose" e-mail saying "your order has been processed" (phhht! clearly not) and the subsequent e-mail telling me it had been cancelled.

      I made my call yesterday, accidentally hung up near the end, and then double checked with them on chat later. I'm not really expecting anything further until Monday at the earliest.

    • So did I. Got an invoice and I did not call up or anything. The email came at 1:56am. Fingers crossed this went through. The weird thing is the transaction disappeared from my bank statement too.

      • Same with me. My transaction is no longer showing on my CC. I have no idea what is going on.

    • I also received an invoice without calling them first. Then I read an early comment to check the auspost app. So I created an account with the same email I used to order the earphones and sure enough the tracking was there! I assume I'll receive them on Monday as I'm in central Sydney..

      I get the feeling it only comes up during support hours, but it's just a little "Chat" button that floats on the left hand side of their web page. I'm guessing that some security settings in a browser may block that sort of thing, so YMMV. Try different browser too.

      For what it's worth, it has worked for me, but right now at after 9pm on a Sunday night it isn't coming up. Surprises me that it's not 24/7 'follow the sun' for a company like Bose. Obviously the first level support isn't run from Australia anyway, but it certainly seems tailored (and limited) for us in terms of support windows.

        • Even during support hours with all ad blocking addons turned off it only showed up once the first time i loaded the webpage on explorer then never seen again when constantly refreshing chrome, firefox and explorer. If your intention is to skip the phone call to re-order the headphones they will just say you have to do it over the phone due to its sensitive nature of giving them a new payment option.

          • @RandomFox: seems someone above did it via chat. But chat is only open during business hours mon-fri.

            • @[Deactivated]: Yeah, sounds like they were grabbing a number and calling the customers back, which may be a lot better than sitting on hold for an hour and a half! :-)

              • @Banj0: Lol that would be right… they asked for my phone number by fabebook messages and have had it sense last Wednesday and no call.

                Edit: after contacting live chat and telling them how long Ive been waiting they took my number to call me back later and were very willing to help although while i was talking to live chat I got through over the phone

    I was hoping to take the opportunity to increase the order. Ive seen a few posts where Bose are coming to the party once you actually get through… Anyone want to weigh in on the chances they'll let me order an extra set?

  • I called on 13/12 and got my order reprocessed. Its been a couple of days and the money is not even pending on my account, and I haven't received an invoice. Is this normal?

      You should call again. That happened to me as well. The operator forgot to type in 79.95 and left it as 0 that's why it didn't come through on my first call. The second operator was honest to tell me the error on their part.

  • The online chat seems unmanned now. I've been stuck on the chatbot that filters the customers inquiry. After that no one is responding. Been on hold for 33mins on the phone now. Have made two calls before and still no invoice, no tracking on Aus Post app. Come on Bose.

    • I got in touch after 30 mins and asked them about my order status and the confirmation email. The operator told me that the email is sent out once the product is ready for dispatch but she did send me a manual email confirming my order. She also said that the money will only be deducted once my order is ready.
      She said that the product will be delivered by Friday, December 20th.

      • Took me 1hr waiting and said they will send me the invoice and tracking once they send it. ODD. But guaranteed me this week too. They guaranteed me last week of two to 5 business days but didn't happen. At least the operator told me I was going to get sent blue. The test of patience continues. :)

      Just got through now after 1 hour a 10 seconds. Black is all gone the operator is telling me, they have lots of Blue or Orange. I already own the blue ones so I am going with orange. No mention if they are refurbished or not. We will see when they arrive.

  • Got mine and they are refurbished (black) but money is back in my account. Paid with Cc instead of PayPal on original order so at the moment they are free unless a charge appears in the future. I’m not complaining and they sound amazing!

      • Yup, still got 2 other items that didn't arrive and I haven't received confirmation email for those two (already called about them, will call tomorrow).

        BTW so in terms of audio sync issues, I have no issues with Youtube app but Twitch has like .5 second delay. Doesn't bother me THAT much, but if I paid $250-300 I'd be annoyed. btw own OnePlus 7 Pro, I think Apple users have the issue more so and I still have firmware update preparing

    some people paid and got nothing, not even an email or invoice
    others got refunded and then received the items.

    It baffles me how such a relatively large organisation can have "processes" as unorganised as this…

    I suspect this will take a while to clear up.
    I strongly doubt they have this amount of refurb stock to sell or that they will sustain giving new stock to the remainder.

    My bet.. like all the other price errors, some will get goods and the others will get apology emails
    and some will need to chase up their own cash for paying and not receiving anything.

      I'm still with payment pending…so effectively I have two 'payments pending'…the original PayPal payment (which shows only when I follow the original PayPal advice link, and presumably will never come through), and the second direct to credit card payment authorised on Friday, which is only a funds hold at this point.

      TBH I wasn't really expecting any action on this until today…and the day isn't over yet.

    • I was told yesterday that they can't refund to PayPal, I had to give my bank details for them to send the $79.95 back to me.
