PEACHY20

Original Coupon Deal

Winner of Gamers Nexus best overall award for 5700Xt due to low price and decent cooling. https://youtu.be/5McVc0SQMHU?t=201

I'm still waiting confirmation if this is eligible for the following promotions. If it is, then it's a hell of a deal.

Free Borderlands 3: https://www.amd.com/en/gaming/raise-the-game <—- nope
Free GIGABYTE M.2 NVMe SSD 512GB: https://au.aorus.com/event-detail.php?i=1235

Lots of reports about slow delivery time from FTC during the black friday sales (since they had by far the lowest prices on a lot of PC parts) so if you want it in a hurry you might want to pay a little more from a different seller.

Even if it's not eligible for the promos that's an unreal price for this card.

    • +1

Yup, I've been waiting for this card (or the thicc III) to drop below $600. Most PC component sellers are selling the non XT at this price.

If the SSD and/or games are included, that's basically a steal.

  • -1

This was 551 from ftc just last week

    • +1

I think that was the non XT, very few non reference 5700XTs have been available under $600 AFAIK.

  • Damn. Purchased this 2 weeks ago for $612… if that comes with the NVMe SSD, that's truly a bargain. Futu on eBay is definitely included in that promotion (though they're price comes to $639 after discount).

  • Thanks. Just what I was waiting for. Purchased.

Is FTC the shop that was selling used mining cards as new?

    • +1

Yes. They also sell monitors acquired from internet cafe and offices to get them refurbished and sell them as new ones.

    • Where is this info from??

  • +5

These guys have had significant issues with getting their orders out in time so be warned.

One of the cards I ordered is apparently out for delivery with the couriers today but another one I ordered a week earlier is still missing.

    • +1

I bought the MSI 5700 xt Gaming from them in the last sale for $599 delivery was slower than others but for the price I was ok waiting the two weeks.

    • For me, it took about a week for both orders from only a short distance away. It seems like the courier they rely on, Sendle, is very slow at picking parcels up. Once it's actually in the system it didn't take too long.

      • +1

I think it's a case that Sendle do bulk pickup deliveries for FTC most likely weekly or fortnightly based on my experience, most likely to keep delivery costs down. Once they had the card it only took a couple of days to get to me.

      • I'd be less concerned if they had some sort of notice giving a more realistic time frame for deliveries.

  • Just bought one. I got a message saying that the listing had been updated, checked it and it states that the stock is 100% Australian. Does this confirm that it's eligible for the promotions?

  • Wow, I am about to order this from Centrecom right, many thanks to the OP.

Also is FTC reputable, any trouble return or trying RMA faulty products as I am in Melbourne ??

    • +2

No they are not. There is a forum topic on them full of people that got screwed.

      • Oh, that bad?

The cheapest I can find is $679.00. For the difference of $100, you reckon it is not worth the risk buying from FTC?

Edit: Just read your post on the forum. Ok, I will skip it. Many thanks.

        • It's $639 after discount from Futu ebay (who are a participating retailer in both promotions)

          • @beaver2233: Thanks, beaver.

There will be a +$15 for shipping. A saving of just $25, I'd prefer to buy from a physical store.

            • @leznix: Oh - yeah, must be free shipping only with ebay plus then.

    • No they are not by any means. Horrible store, totally dishonest Hong Kong seller.

Amazing price. Probably the best 5700 XT to purchase in terms of price, performance and cooling… when it works. Unfortunately I cannot bring myself to repurchase this card after selling mine the other month given two months of uncertainty (ie. BSOD, display driver crashing).

  • +2

Recent feedback on people that purchased this card is negative…I'm going to avoid.

    • +1

I did a search and it does seem like it can be a bit of a lottery with some people getting very high junction temps, hopefully a couple of months of manufacturing has sorted any issues.

  • If only AMD got stable drivers they would be a force to be reckoned with.

  • SO why isnt this eligible for Borderlands 3 promo?

    • +1

FTC told me they don't get codes for it from their supplier.

      • +5

Hmm more like they sold the codes separately to cdkeys.com

      • Did they confirm it is eligible for the Gigabyte promo by any chance?

        • claimed mine and went through ok, lets see what happens but Aorus confirmed it was eligible for the SSD on facebook. I don't care much about borderlands as I already have it but I could always sell the code.

  • Make sure to read this thread before purchasing from them:

Do NOT buy from FTC computers. I ordered an MSI Gaming X Trio 2080 ti. It arrived 2 weeks late and when it did arrived, I opened the package to find an MSI Gaming X Trio 2080 super! Absolute idiots. I am furious, have put a claim through both eBay and Paypal. At this stage I just want my money back, will never deal with FTC again.

  • got one and so far so good, got the confirmation from TNT Express and tracking number… fingers crossed all goes well, the seller seems pretty helpful so far.

  • Be aware of their delivery time, I've ordered something on 03/12 and after 10 days I haven't got it yet, I bought a lot of other stuffs from other retailers and everything had been delivered already, so they can't blame the Xmas delivery rush. Their timeframes on ebay are not realistic and the explanation I received was merely "there was a huge shipment confusion, this item has been rerouted to be delivered by supplier directly", it seems like sendle tried to pickup the item and it wasn't available and now they switched to StarTrack.

    • Yeah delivery time is a problem… I was expecting to get it on Monday and got it today .. now I have a Xmas party and will have to leave in the office until Monday :/ lol

Btw I'm not associated with this company, but I do like to give good reviews when a company does a good job. I was supposed to receive the product on next Monday or Wednesday the latest and the seller been answering my questions even after hours, so I think they did a great job at least in my case…

  • Recieved mine, had to get tax invoice via email on request as they put 2x delivery docket in the box instead.

    • ow that took a while.. mine arrived on the 13th.. nothing on the SSD yet and I don't even know if borderlands will be included

      • I'm in Tasmania so it always takes a few more days. 6 isn't bad.

        • oh ok, fair enough, especially this time of the year. I was surprised at how quick it arrived for me.

  • My Free SSD was approved by Gigabyte!

    • mine too but nothing yet tho.

    • still no signs of my m.2… :/

      • Same, but those promos always take forever.

        • Received mine yesterday. It was probably one of the best deals of 2019 for me, if not the best

  • How the hell did I miss this

    • people just complained about bad experiences they had and a lot of people got put off, I took the plunge. it's on paypal anyway..
