@Bargain-er: Yep AF. Haven't given it a proper go but going to take it out to the street today. AF seems fast from first impressions. It has the newer firmware on it

Very different cameras. I've had both of them
OMD is a very nice camera set - lenses are smaller/more compact and cheaper. It's a great system to get into as a beginner and hobbyist. I was in the system for around 5 years. The A7 system is quite expensive, particularly if you aren't sure photography is your thing.
