Instead of buying the (outdated) Moto G7 Plus, you might better off spending a $31 extra for the new G8 Plus which also gets you a bonus Lenovo Smart Clock (which is valued $60~80)

Which appears to also have a bigger battery, better SOC, improved camera and smaller notch. Well worth it!

    • Crap. Bought it yesterday.

Can anyone comment on the Meizu M6T and Moto E6 Plus?

Also curious. Bought my father an A20 which he's had no issues with and can operate well. Wonder how well the M6T compares. I'm waiting for another A20 deal as I need to buy my grandmother a phone now. 🤔

      • For anybody else interested, the A20 pretty much trumps it in most aspects. Similar phones overall but given the A20 can be had for similar money, it's definitely the better phone. I'll be waiting for another A20 deal.

        Happy bargaining!

For those interested: E6 Plus vs A20

        • Do the cheap A20s available to us have dual SIM though?

          • @Scrooge McDuck: I'll confirm with my dad's phone when I see them tomorrow. Fairly certain it does from memory, not that it's any use to him but I can see how it would be useful.

      Hi Scrooge,

Both the M6T and E6 Plus are two of our popular recommendations for budget smartphones in the $100-200 range as they both offer decent general performance.

Comparing both, the E6 Plus has a larger screen size (6.1" vs 5.7") while having similar dimensions due to its more minimal bezel design, faster chip (Mediatek MT6762 vs MT6750), and more on-board storage (32gb vs 16gb).

The Meizu M6T does have a larger battery than the E6 Plus (3300mAh vs 3000mAh), which should get longer battery life as the display it needs to power is also smaller. The M6T is also at a cheaper price point, so both are solid options imo.

  • Are there any free Click & Collect options?

      Hi Scrooge,

There is free C&C / Delivery with for eBay Plus users. Thanks

  • does that $35 only apply for one item?

    • +1

      Hi frankfurtman,

Yes the $35 apply to one item - the Moto E6 Plus. Thanks

      • Any idea what the CAT rating is for the Moto Z2 Play as I fished google with no luck?

        • +1

phone arena and notebookcheck have the z2 play listed at cat7, however have just sent a request to Motorola AU to confirm, will let you know. Thanks

          • @lyl: Cheers. Sounds about right as this has the SD626 and my Moto G5+ is CAT6 with it's SD625.

            • +1

@ozhunter68: Yeah, Motorola just confirmed Cat7

              • @lyl: Cheers for finding out. Surprised I did not find those reviews you listed on Tuesday, must have been on page two in google lol.

Have been interested in getting the Z2 Play but need to sell one of my as new Moto G5+ first as I have procrastinated doing that now for months.

I am much better at buying stuff than selling unwanted/unneeded goods lol.
