    Well here we go again…

    • +4

Literally what popped into my head as soon as I saw the deal title. Will be yet another farce.

  • +1

Brings the 55" LG B9 down to $1525 + delivery.

    • +1

      Also 65" $2,385 + delivery.

      • +1

I feel like the sweet spot for the B9 65 should be closer to $2200 to make it worth the savings from C9. $200ish cheaper isn't really a big enough savings imo. Still a great price if you only just started looking or can't go over the $2400. Incredible that the quality of these TV's can be had for this price.

      • thats an excellent price for 65" oled

  • +9

Annoying how it's not just Ebay Plus items, but then a limited subset of those items but better than nothing I guess

  • +1

    Just finished trial… what's next

    • me too… waiting lol

  • +1

    thx worked for cat foodage

    • +4

      No, thank you.

  • +1

thanks, purchased a fetch tv mini refurb :)

  • +8

Eligible item means nothing on my list

    • +1

      same

just bought Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 3 OLED (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/173719166713) from GearBite for $260.95
I think the price is not too bad as I need it quite badly in sydney.

    • Does anyone know how these compare, air purification wise, to Dysons and the like?

    • that's expensive. I'm probably going to need another though thanks to these bush fires.

      • Expensive? How cheap do they get?

        • +3

          Last time was $229. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/501463

I expect further price drops, it being a new product and Xiaomi.

          I'm waiting for below 200.

          • @lostn: Oh wow, thanks for commenting mate just saved me!

            • +2

@Xizor: if you need it now because of bush fires, don't wait. Your health is more important than $50-80.

If you have a CC with price protection it should be a no brainer. Buy now, claim the difference later.

    • The Xiaomi 2H are around $150 on Kogan

      • Not in stock though is it?

    • -1

If you pay 260 you might as well get the Pro for around the same price.

      • Congo where is the pro anywhere near 260?

    • I think its a better buy here, https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/273408186054. Quick delivery estimate and down to 258. From reading ozbargain gearbite has a bad reputation for selling items they dont hold local stock of.

  • +2

Hell yeah! brings my LG 27GL850 down to the price everyone else has it.

    Save me Wireless1!

    • how much you got it for

      • $764 on ebay in stock - or everyone else has it for $749 pre-order (plus shipping if required)

Not worth it when its been going for $630-$650

        • they sell out super quick at those prices.

        • i got mine for 670ish but 636 is the lowest i've seen, it'll get there again eventually just make sure to be quick haha

    • +1

Yep. I'm waiting for around the $650 mark otherwise seems like a bad deal.

  • Damn it. Looks like Computer Alliance charge shipping now even with Ebay plus.

    • +1

Check wireless1 instead. I found CA is more expensive anyway

    • +1

Wow seriously! That's pretty sh1tty! They were my goto with Ebay Plus.

It looks like its free postage on some but not all. Don't even understand that.

    • +2

Ummmm, the whole point of eBay plus is free shipping. You sure you're being charged?

"eBay Plus offers free standard domestic postage on all eBay Plus items paid with PayPal or a credit/debit card."

      • +1

You can check yourself. But none of the listings give me free shipping with plus.

        • +1

Is CA still plus, looks like it's not?

        • I was told by a seller that from the 7th the rules have changed, and to qualify ebay are asking sellers to include the postage in the price and mark it as free postage.

          • +3

@andrewb55555: Something definitely has changed but some things are still marked as eBay plus. Maybe it's at the listing level and not the seller level? eBay just gets more confusing every day. Amazon is much better.

          • +2

@andrewb55555: Doesnt surprise with the shopping square 3 for $15 items etc. Ebay would have definitely caught on if they were subsidising $45 in shipping for a $15 sale.

    • Looks like a few sellers with eBay plus are now charging shipping. Was looking at a case from Digilife Online and was going to pull the trigger whenever eBay had 10% off it.

It's either something screwy with eBay or just another sign to suggest eBay plus is not worth the money.

    • same with wireless1

  • +3

Waiting for the white knight with the search link! :)

    • -2

Turns out all of the $100 plus items are not eligible…

  • Waiting for a deal on the 65R8.

    • +7

      Thanks for letting us know.

      • +4

        Thanks for listening.

        :p

        • I can't hear text.

  • wait so long but the thing I after from baby bunting and eb games is not eligible. :(

    • same! I'm waiting for baby bunting as well!

  • let the search begin for eligible items… :(

  • +19

Ebay is becoming a joke. Especially ebay plus. Why can't they add an option to filter a search for code eligibility. So at the moment I'm trying find a deal on a 3d printer, so I should be able to search 3d printers, then add filter 'eligible items', or something similar to that. It's ridiculous adding items to cart and trying a code which 9 times out of 10 doesn't work.

    • +10

they want you to find the bargains now. They want it to be a sport and for it to be fun. The more time you spend bargain hunting, the more pages you look at more ads, more traffic, more $$$. You spend longer on the site and less time on other sites. The key is to piss you off a little, but not enough to drive you away from using ebay again. They're riding a fine line.

      • +3

Yeh that makes sense in a way. But it's got to the point where I'm much less likely to check ebay first for stuff now (12 months ago it was the first place, and had been for years). Now, I generally check amazon first, then ebay, then Google. Depending on what I'm buying. Sometimes I check banggood and Ali express first for some stuff.

I miss the old ebay, from like 2 years ago. 10% site wide deals, god I miss those. I didn't even consider that they might cease to exist back then.

        • I miss the old ebay, from like 2 years ago. 10% site wide deals, god I miss those. I didn't even consider that they might cease to exist back then.

They still happen at ebay UK and US every now and then. And those sites allowed you to buy gift cards unlike AU.

  • Need 20%. With 10% off, dashcam still selling for $100+ more than Autobarn had it last year.

    • you may get 15%, doubt they ever give 20% again

      • 20th anniversary this year. Would be surprised if they didn't do something special.

Or maybe I got the year wrong. Might be past 20 by now. But I'd expect something special on the anniversary nonetheless.

  • Waiting for a LG C9 65" deal…

    • +1

Would get a better deal when the CX series goes on sale. Looks like a decent upgrade over the C9.

      • Surely they'll be expensive as hell for the first 8 months right?

        • Usually 6 months before prices start coming down

  • any recommended split type aircon 2.2kw? i'd like to use the free trial for the ebay+ if there are good bargains.

    • There was one from GoodGuys for $500 for 2.5Kw

  • +4

    Any bargains?

    • +2

if you have to ask, the answer is probably no.

  • +3

Some of Wireless1's item is not free shipping for ebayPlus although the item listing's picture says it has free shipping?
Is this a mistake with the picture or what?

  • +6

EBay is becoming the new chatroulette, wasting time wading through a sea of ….. for nothing

  • +3

Nothing I add to cart is eligible for the code 😂😂😂

  • +3

tried on an ebay plus item and didnt work.
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/B-O-PLAY-Beoplay-H7-Over-Ear-Wir…

  • +1

ive bought way more stuff on amazon than ebay in the past year…. doesnt look like that trend is changing.

Get 10% off "millions" of eBay Plus items…

I question the millions of items when people are struggling to find 1 item.

    • +1

Worked for me. First item I wanted.

      • Same. Had eyes on another portable USB-C monitor…now cheaper than any of the tracked vendors on StaticIce

        • -4

USB-C monitor lol what a pointless buy

  • -2

    Stuff eBay plus exclusive deals

  • Anyone getting charged postage by Computer Alliance? The code can be applied to their items, but $15 postage is still wanted. I remember they are part of the eBay plus program. Seems weird.

    • It's also mentioned by someone else above in the thread.

      • +4

I phoned the customer service, and their solution was generating an one time $15 coupon to cover the postage, and they made me commit to buy over the phone before even sending the code, which of course cannot be applied together with “10% off”. Then what’s point? I just turn to the Amazon instead.

  • +1

I used a $20 voucher from the eBay plus deal. Seller sent defective goods and then when I raised issue, cancelled and refunded the order. No refund showed up, eBay customer service denied the refund to credit my account because vouchers are single use.

There are bargains if you look hard enough. iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB [Brand New] [AU Stock], Tax Invoice, after code $1916.10, free Express shipping, LAST ONE
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Apple-iPhone-11-Pro-Max-256GB-51…

    • +1

      Ooh, yeah. $1900 phone.

      Utah, get me two!

    • +3

@Buy2Much Is that a piss take?

      • +1

Not sure what you meant. Lots of people on OB commented previously that they were waiting for a sub $2000 price on an iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB, I came across such price after the code. There were 2 today in the ad and now both sold! Surely someone here saw my post :-)

        • +5

I wasn't sure if you were serious about that being a bargain as close to $2k for a phone seems ridiculous.

          • +4

@Punkboy: Plenty of debates on the prices of iPhones in previous iPhone deal posts. I don't want to start another one here LOL… A bargain is defined as when you can get a price less than the usual market price of that specific item…

        • +2

It's funny that Youfoodz faces constant negging on ethics, yet Apple gets away with human rights crimes.

  • hey folks,

embarassingly, ive got 500+ ebay feedback as a buyer, but first time ive bought at auction just now,

    few questions
    1. if I use ebay Gift cards, does the seller get charged fees for it? (on top of the 10.9% fees)
    2. trying to use shopback 3% jewellery category, am I eligible for an auction, and do I need to click when I pay or when I bid (because I didnt click when bidding)
    3. ive got ebay plus membership but none of the 1%/3%/5%/10% codes listed here work, in fact they all said expired, are they eligible on auctions?

    thanks in advance everyone
