One month worth of data is credited on activation, and another on your first payment date, 1-8 days later. So you effectively get double data for the first monthly payment - so activate before Belong's set activation dates for double data in first month.
Yes, so the way I interpret it is don't activate on these dates - 4th, 12th, 20th, 28th and you will get double data. The dates are the same every month.
Although member inquel112 said they activated on the 28th and got double data (billing date is the 4th).

As long as activate after they've processed billing on the set date, receive up to 7 extra days service & double data.Didn't understand this when I first used Belong. Was told my next billing date was a few days after I'd activated. Didn't pay more than expected, but got twice the data for that month. On the 40GB plan that was a nice bonus🎉
On larger plans, gifting data to another Belong SIM is handy.
Using referral, I've received $20 Belong credit & free SIM was posted. Activated on $10 plan for 3GB for just over 2 months.
Another heads up - member Bhuvnesh just commented that code BYO50OFF is still working for $50 bonus credit if porting on the $25 or $40 plan.

That was a good Deal - meant to end last month.
Port your number to Belong using code for $50 bonus credit. Some reported credit wasn't added automatically to bought SIMs like this - just contact Belong.
Can't be used with referral code.I bought a sim from Coles in December for $10 and ported to belong. All the credit was added as it should be and I practically get 3x $25 months for the price of $10. Awesome deal. The data banking is great for me too as I don't use mobile internet much (prob average 1-2gb a month) but if my home internet were to go down or I change provider and have down time, the data will come in handy.
I took up Circles.life - $5 Cashback for Free 4 Mths/20GB Monthly Plan at almost start of November to end of March. Another plan with set billing dates - to get best value.
Getting almost 5 months free with $5 already paid back. So wasn't worth taking up that Belong Deal covering same period.
Will be looking for next free deal in March😉
Dammit and I thought I did well getting the $40 sim for $20 and using the $20 referral code. Should have used BYO50OFF instead!
How long do you have to activate it after buying it? Someone visiting me from overseas in March for a few weeks so they will need a sim card.

Here is another option for $10 (after cashback) but it must be activated within 30 days of purchase, so you would have to wait.
This might be better for a visitor because once you set up the account you can remove your credit card details. Also you get 54GB data to use straight away.
I bought the same one from Woolies at Cranbourne Shopping Centre in Vic on Friday for $5, not sure if it’s all Woolies.
