    • +2

    • +9

      • -2

we can do it 1000000 times?

        • If you are happy and have time then do it. For me I just have several items that I can buy separately.

I guess ebay is not a participating store?

    • What did you base your guess on?

      • I read the do's and don't's in shopback app for ebay and it only mentioned about mobile app and not extension. Could I be wrong?

        • The web extension is unavailable in the app. Nothing you buy via the app will qualify you for this $2 bonus.

    • why so? it was included the last few times..i get Screen Protectors everytime and get paid out

  • +1

These pop up every now and then, I leave the extension installed and enable/disable it during these promos.

  • This doesn't work for Amazon? The site says the Shopback Extension does not work for Amazon so I'm assuming this deal won't either?

    • Where does it say that? I've used the shopback extension multiple times for Amazon and received the cashback just fine

      • On the Shopback Amazon page. It says on the sidebar "ShopBack Extension does not work on Amazon. Be sure to clickthrough from ShopBack before adding to cart and placing an order in order for Cashback to track".

        • Interesting, if that's true they should really remove Amazon from the Shopback extension

        • Just tried it, extension activated

    • +1

It works - for Amazon the pop up/activate prompt won't appear automatically. You'll need to click on the S icon to see an option to Activate Cashback.

  • -1

Any good deals in Amazon today?
Always missing amazon deals as it runs out too quickly
    OZB powered!

  • Does anyone know if there are there any conflicts/issues with having both the shopback and cashrewards web extensions installed on the same browser?

    • +2

No issues, however when you activate one the order will become inactivated

eg. visiting a shop website and activate Shopback via web extension (which turns to green icon), then click the Cashrewards web extension
Shopback extension will turns back to red

    "via Web Extension"
why???? sometimes via app, via web, via that, via this, via crap?
people cant install web ext at work, do you know that?

    • +1

plenty of time to install on home computer?

    • +4

Because the point is to get you to use the extension. When it is via the app, the point is to get you to use the app. It's marketing.

    • people cant install web ext at work, do you know that?

Just install it when you can then? No part of the deal says you have to install it on a work computer…

  • When should we see the click register on our account?

  • On a recent one, I took up this offer with AliExpress. I spent about $25 in total. When I got the tracking confirmation email , I saw the transaction has been broken up effectively into each item I bought, none of which individually will be over $5. Will I still get this bonus?

    • I also want to know - when buying multiple items at once on AliExpress, does Shopback look at the total and checks the total is over the minimum spend? If yes, then as long as the Shopback email lists the transactions in one email it should be OK?

    • +2

As long as items purchased were all in a single transaction then yes it's fine.

      • Wonderful … thanks for confirming!

  • Who even has a computer these days?

    • Don't you people have phones?

  • How do you keep track on this? I will forget in two months… 🤔

    • +1

Put it in your calendar? How do you keep track of things now?

    • Is it really worth tracking $2?

They email and notify (if you have the app) you at every stage.

    • -1

What's to track? I take out cashback when it reaches $100 or when I can be bothered, there's no rush.

    • +1

Ozbargain has a reminder feature.. Try setting a custom date and you will get a notification about this deal.

    • I'm going to start an excel log of the shopback/cashrewards bonus' with the date I buy something and the date they're supposed to go though because otherwise it's too difficult.

  • +2

For those with prime: 4 Packs of Arnott's Shapes for $6.40 ($1.60ea). Matching the 1/2 price woolworths special.

  • Bought 2x Sodastream bottles for $14.70 ($12.70 After CB) https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B079K956K1/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_i…

  • i guess woolies gc wont track as extension goes red not green?

  • Wow so no need to activate anything through the link and instead just use the web extension in Chrome? Nice.

Time to try it out on my Chromebook.

  • will buying a $5 ebay gift card count and track?

  • Using codes on eBay is okay?

    Edit: nevermind it's not

  • I bought something just after 1am (AEST) through the extension. All content blockers turned off. Still hasn't tracked.
Bought another small adapter through the app early afternoon, it tracked within twenty minutes. Something wrong?

    • I bought at 1am too but haven't received a tracking email yet either.

    • Are both with the same store?

Tracking times vary from store to store.

  • -2

I bought something a few minutes ago on amazon, enabled via the extension as always, but I still have not seen confirmation for the $2.

  • +1

Got myself some super lube! (calm down, it's for lubricating moving parts in video game controllers).

    • +2

What are we meant to do with this information?

      • Type passive aggressive replies I guess.

      • To expand on that slightly - I feel that if I partake of an offer that it's nice to leave a comment on how I benefited from it and add to the discussion.

I'm sorry your day is worse because of it.
