The C9 65" was around $2700 last weekend at Appliance Central and Videopro IIRC.

      Link https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/521517

    • +7

Mate its been under $2700 multiple times..

      • +18

        Correct, my bad.

        • +1

It takes a truly integral man to acknowledge his mistakes.

          • +1

@Skinnerr: I looked up "LG C9" first and got the figure.

Then i looked up "LG C9 65" after the fact. I edited the post, but you guys were too quick to point out the error of my ways.

it is what it is. Glad that it was cleared up, regardless.

          • @Skinnerr: or woman

no apple tv or hisense 65r8 ree. whats a good soundbar with a sub?

    • Samsung Q90R soundbar is the best IMHO, looks to be part of the sale. The sub isn't amazing but it's got great Atmos integration.

  • +1

Great! Getting the WAW28460AU Bosch washing machine. Will see if i can get the concierge services added after the purchase since it's via ebay.

    • +2

Yeah if you are doing click and collect you can add it when you pick it up, otherwise if you are getting it delivered you can go into the store and add it up to 30 days after purchase.

      • +1

Thanks, just rang them to confirm and I can add it after within 14 days.
Postage went from $10 to $54.95. That was a $44.95 phone call because i delayed lol

      • How much would it cost to add the concierge service if I was buying the Yamaha YAS-108B soundbar

        • +1

Look at TGG website, it should show you at the item's page. Quick check it says $35 for 3 years.

    • is the concierge service worth it on this? or something like a bosch dishwasher? I've never really considered it as it seemed like extra cost for not a lot of service?

      • +3

For me it is worth it. Mainly because they give 3x $20 credit per year which i use for my Miele Vacuum bags.

    • Do they do a install if you get it delivered or is that extra?
WOuld buying the concierge service allow you to get an install done?

      • Concierge is extended warranty.

        Installation includes delivery.

        Delivery is just delivery.

  • YESSSSSSS.. I've been waiting for this.

    20% I mean. Not the soundbar :)

    • I'd vote yes. Android One on a Nokia is butter. I had the Nokia 2.1, was great though too few LTE bands.

      • +3

        what type of butter?

        • +3

I cant believe its not butter, butter.

    • The A20 is definitely better on paper.
      kimovil comparison

    • I'll personally go return A20. I don't trust Nokia until they have proven themselves worthy with their support.

Plus, A20 is just straight up better spec wise.

  • Thanks OP!!!!!!

  • Thanks dealbot

  • Dyson v11 absolute $799.20 after discount! Got one

  • No cheap Smart Grinder Pro.

    • I'm also looking for one

  • Bissell 1979K PowerFresh V says no stock for click and collect and almost 40$ delivery cost. When i check on TGG website, stores around me all have available stock!

  • Noticed another post before this one was edited which was for the Yamaha, wouldn't this then be the duplicate ?

I thought it was dosada, but now I can't find the original that went up.

    • If you checked revision, Dealbot actually updated the Yamaha YAS-108B a minute after he posted the deal.

I would know since I removed my duplicate a few minutes after his edit

    • +1

No. Check Revisions - edited & added 1 minute after posting & just before that post which was unpublished.

      • +1

Ah thanks guys, I couldn't see the other post to know when. It appeared in my live feed pretty quick :)
By the time I thought "Hey that's a good deal, I should post it" I noticed the other one.

        • Not a problem! It's a good price👍
Just like my comment was beaten by just over a minute, while I checked the Revisions😉

  • -6

    Do they sell masks?

    • No. If you dont have any, use your underwear.

  • +5

    Yamaha YAS-108B 120W Soundbar(ebay.com.au) - $119.20
that is insane please everyone buy

    • New historical low, against like a previous ~$130. It's pretty damn good. Just cancelled my $150 order , lucky I hadn't picked it up yet.

    • +1

      is it any good?

      • +2

check the comments from previous posts. Its OzB 's favorite soundbar!

        • good enough for me. it'll be hopefully a lot nicer than my kogan tv speakers

    • agree it is a steal at this price and better than many sounbars twice the price.

    • Does it come with a remote at all?

    • I went and had a quick listen to the YAS-108 and some more expensive units in-store. The YAS-108 impressed me the most and was the only one I actually liked, so I took a punt on it and I can re-evaluate other options later. At least it has a sub output to connect a sub later.

I wasn't impressed with most 2.1/3.1 units. There was just this mid-range hole between the tweeters and the sub. When music was playing without drums/bass, it generally sounded flat and tinny. Additionally when I turned down the volume, the bass was almost non-existent on most of the units. If I'm watching TV at low volume, it wouldn't sound a whole lot better than TV speakers 🤔

The JBL 3.1 definitely had the best bass and kept more bass at lower volumes, but that midrange was still missing. At low volumes, I could hear a deep rumble and tinny highs. The audio just didn't seem well-rounded.

  • is the chromecast ultra worth upgrade from original chromecast (the very first one, stick type not round boody)?

    • +1

you get an ethernet port on the ultra i believe, which is very handy because the original one drops out for me.

      • Correct! You can also use 5Ghz as well.

If you have a UHD display and a decent internet connection to take advantage of UHD streaming it's well worth it. For reference I have Fibre to the Node, getting approx 46.7 Mbps and we can have 2 x UHD streams running on two Ultra's at the same time with no dropouts or buffering.

        • Is this worth grabbing if your tv has smart tv features? Like Netflix, Stan etc all installed already?

          • +1

@Frayin: So if you have google home devices you can control your tv with the chromecast, setup hdmi CEC. Can tell google to turn of TV. I use it to mainly show my google photos on the tv.

    • YES! I've got the original stick one, and the puck one (not the Ultra because I dont have a 4K TV). If you have a 4K TV, get it. Speed and stability, no buffering. Lots of useful benefits.

  • TLC 65" 65P8M is $706 after the %20 Off. Is that a good price? I have been eyeing on this particular model for ages. Is the 65P8S much better at $1036?

Also $636 for the 55P8S is pretty nice for a QLED?

    • The best I've seen it for was around the $550 mark when Good Guys had 20% TCL combined with the eBay 20% off.

  • the 65 inch tcl comes to $716 plus delivery for sydney total $770, is that good?

  • Damnit, a week after I got the Huawei Nova 5t it's only ~ $400 with this deal!

  • Anyone got a search link ?

  • I notice they have removed all the 55" OLEDs.

  • just curious, have you seen ebay good guys showing that click and collect is not available for items , but when i go to good guys site i see that it's in stock and can be picked up

    this for example : https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/fisher-and-paykel-75kg-front-…

    • I am seeing the same thing for the Breville Barista Pro coffee machine.

I got this response from Good Guys eBay when asking a few weeks ago about click and collect but no stock available:

"Unfortunately The Good Guys eBay site and The Good Guys website operate on different stock levels, where stock may show on The Good Guys website, does not mean this stock is available on The Good Guys eBay.

We are unfortunately unable to alter these levels for yourself to complete a purchase."

    • +1

Seeing the same thing. Bit of a scam I can have a $38 discount then pay $44 postage, or no discount and just collect from my local where it is in stock but magically not for eBay?

      • +1

        agree, ways to earn money.
I hope we could report this and actually get an outcome

        • I ended up getting what I wanted over the weekend by getting the store to price match their eBay price. Calling up the store didn't work and neither did calling the price match phone number.

Interestingly when I sent an email to my 3 closest stores 2/3 price matched (including the store that told me on the phone they couldn't). Worth a try for you maybe.

  • I hate this post. Spent $150 on the soundbar yesterday :( and it's not even good.

    • did you open it? if not return it n buy this.

      • Unfortunately I did open it and it has terrible sound. Press the 3d suround button and you get that sound effect which resembles the listener being inside of those large metal sewer pipes.

        • But this then return it on the $150 receipt

        • The 3d surround is known to sound terrible on this soundbar, But how would you rate it as just a normal stereo sound bar for music or tv/movies

          • +1

@bobvegas: The TV i have is a LG UK6540 65inch. The quaility of the sound on the TV speakers is better than the one coming out of the Soundbar. So the soundbar is a downgrade from the TV speakers. Even when the 3D sound is off, you get an impression the sound is comming out of a 10m deep well. The soundbar is 30% louder than the TV but sound quality is lower and becomes even worse the louder you play the soundbar. I would not recommend it to anyone.

          • @bobvegas: I like mine. Just got it from previous deal. Theres options to make it change its sound. Personally mine is the surround sound, clear voice and high bass. I also own a z623 is that makes any difference. Doesnt have as much bass as those speakers but fine for TV imo

    • Why wouldn't you listen first?

  • :( Bought the Soundbar yesterday via Good Guys eBay. eBay just refused to do their price match guarantee within 48 hours too.

    • Because the price match is for approved competing retailer stores, ie. Not ebay.

      • Kinda sucks that eBay don't match eBay.

    • I feel for you, the sound is very bad too. $150 down the drain

      • Not really. .. it has 2nd hand value. Try and sell it

    • Buy another one from this deal. Return that on your old receipt! Not a very ethical option though.

      • +1

Good idea, though I'd be ashamed to do so. However the problem is not so much cause it is $30 cheaper but because the sound is actually bad…

        • isn't there a 30/60 day change of mind policy

    • Should have asked for cancellation

      • I am in a similar situation. Just picked up from local TGG store @$149.
Do you just return the item and ask for a refund?
        Any questions asked?

        • +1

This is Australia you can refund within 30 days no questions asked.
You could tell them its cheaper online and they will ask the manager to honor the difference but they will tell you its ebay doing the promotion not them.

        • +1

Lol same. Im pissed. I won't bother stuffing around for $30 now. Only just purchased within the hour.

  • Been waiting for a while. Thanks op

  • +1

Anyone else having issues adding the code? I've tried various different items and I get the same error message every time "This code can't be applied to your order."

    • Yeah I'm getting the same issue, wish it would work!
