      There's no comparison.

      And by that I mean there are PLENTY Eneloop reviews and tests online, as they are considered to be (one of) the best rechargeable batteries.

      Also, you can buy Eneloop batteries which are made in Japan not China, and there's just no comparison between the two in terms of quality (because the difference is so big).

    Hey OzBargains,

    Seen the Eneloop talk around for a while but now want to make the jump myself to stop buying batteries.

    Most usage would be for Xbox One, TV remotes (Samsung & Foxtel), plus I guess anything in the house that uses batteries.

    I would need a charger of course, is the fast charger in this deal the best one or say the Costco deal here. Are they the same charger or is the fast charger better?

      Spend abit more and get a smart charger rather than a dumb charger - the one in the link you posted is a dumb charger.

    No more pro ones left at time of posting so had to settle for 4x of the Eneloop standard 4 pack

    Whew, this is a lifesaver. I can finally replace the batteries in my son's music drum kit. The batteries there were running down to the point where when he waddles over and presses the buttons the music sounds come out all garbled and off tune.

    There are also times that I get to the point where I'm desperate enough to remove the ones from the TV remote just to keep him happy.

      Just get some cheap rechargeables from Aldi for the remotes. They're about $6 for a 4 pack. No point spending extra on the Eneloops just for remotes.

    How does the Panasonic smart faster charger compare to the NITECORE UM4 costing an extra $15 dollars? Is it worth over the 4 included eneloops?

    Just went on Camera House’s chat to see what was happening with my order & they said they had no stock & no idea when new stock would arrive (couldn’t even tell me if it’d be weeks or months). I asked them why they hadn’t sent a quick email to let people know re: the delay & lack of stock & they just apologised & asked if I still wanted to wait. Just thought I’d share as I think the majority of us will not be having our orders processed for a long time (certainly not within 14 business days)…

      Update: ended up cancelling my order, I don’t like not having any ETA for delivery & it kind of rubs me the wrong way when sellers don’t communicate a lack of stock & inability to fulfil an order. Good luck to those who remain in the race, hope they don’t keep you waiting too long.

        i spoke to them too, told 2nd week of may. Told them its false advertising as never listed as preorder. Appreciate its busy times but thats no excuse for ripping people off. At least Adidas has had the decency to send an email acknowledging the delay.

          Out of stock items were marked as "shipped within 14 days" - can't remember if it was 14 calendar or business days though. But yeah they should've given updates while waiting for the stock to arrive.

    auspost is now telling me "delayed"

    I think it might be time to cancel via PayPal too.

    I just tried to get an update via their online chat and as soon as I provided the order number the chat was disconnected. Looking on their FB page and the Product-review website (https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/camera-house) their lack of communication/updates for online orders seems to be a common theme.

    I finally got a response from Camera House today - see below. I think I'll wait….good deals on Eneloops are few and far between these days.

    "Thank you for your patience with your outstanding order with Camera House Online. We are working closely with Panasonic Australia to fulfill all outstanding orders from our Battery Sale.

    However due to the huge response we received from this sale we are having to wait for our stock to be refilled. We are hoping to be able to fill majority of orders by the end of May.

    Is there a way to find out the capacity left in these batteries after using them for number of years? I have some iKea batteries but they don't hold as much charge as they used to. I have NiteCore D4 charger but that doesn't seem to tell the capacity left in the batteries.

      Amptron is good, but they start at over a hundred dollars for the 100 Amp model.

      Plenty of really cheap ones on eBay, Amazon US, Alibaba, etc.

      Said OK. You’ve been holding onto my(our) money for 7 weeks, how exactly would you be making amends for this? Out of the blue order was cancelled next day with no prior warning or explanation. Wow. Just wow.

      Anyone able to advise how I can down vote this scum business into oblivion, because imo they do not deserve to be receiving people’s custom.

    Been emailing them about this and was informed they still have yet to receive the shipment from Panasonic and cannot give an ETA.

    So for people who need batteries I would get a refund and get it from Costco or somewhere else. It may be more expensive but at least you'll have batteries
