Says storewide but I see things on there that aren’t discounted.

Mavic Mini price is decent, but not cheapest ever.

Prices are at least 20% more than a few months ago, so 15% is not much.

    • They do it every sale they have.
Same camera I bought during 20% off ebay sale was around 5% cheaper at base price during the recent 15% off sale they had on ebay.

    • That's what I thought. Saw their prices on a few things after discount still higher than amazon.

Expect delays and terrible customer service from them. I bought from them twice and got delayed 2-5 weeks on both orders. They don't display stock levels and they only tell you its out of stock after you made the payment. I should've read some reviews on them before making my purhcase.

    • I got one order fine.
Then the next order I had to call up, they claimed it was "probably already shipped". Took some pushing for the support to say "Oh its out of stock I dont even know why that was posted for sale"

    • I ordered last Thursday and received the order on Friday. Granted it was done through eBay where it was express via eBay plus.

I'll raise your 2-5 weeks and raise you a near 6month wait on an order I made New years 2019 sale which I'm still YET to receive…. I'm a patient man but this is getting beyond a joke.

Sigma 24-70 Sony for $1,900 on sale wow what happened? Think I paid $1,300 5 months ago from digidirect.
Is it our currency or just stock shortage from covid?

    • Price increases have just hit for a lot of manufacturers including Sony, Nikon, Canon and others. Some up to 20% or more.
You can't attribute this solely to the weakened Aussie dollar (which has recovered some against the USD).
I think it is combination of other factors as well including COVID-19 and some companies taking the opportunity to harmonise their global pricing.

Outcome is that it will be quite some time before I think I'll be buying anything.

Stay away from this mob. Profit before customer service is their motto.

  • Click Frenzy is advertising the Olympus 25mm f1.2 pro lens at 50% off for Digidirect, but on Digidirect site it's only 20%. A good, but not groundbreaking, price at 20% off.

Most other pricing is quite ordinary as others have mentioned. There are some 'ok' buys mixed in though. X-E3 with 27mm lens looks reasonable at $874.30 (https://www.digidirect.com.au/fujifilm-x-e3-brown-with-silve…). Haven't found anything else of much interest to me personally though.

    Click fizzle.

On the service…I have not had any truly bad experiences with Digidirect the few times I've dealt with them (they don't seem to be outright fraudulent, and I have dealt with some sellers who are). They took two weeks on one item I ordered that went out of stock - not much in the way of communication - so obviously their service is lacking when it comes to backorders etc. A little more communication could go a long way. That particular item was a margin cheaper than I could find anywhere else though, so I was prepared to wait.

  • I just purchased a RodeCaster Pro from NoFrillsSydney eBay store for $749, and after seeing this deal, I can see it for $697 which is a great price (compared to what else is on the market). I was thinking of cancelling order and placing it here before it's too late, but I am in two-minds seeing the comments about DigiDirect. I can't even tell if it's in stock, or lead time. Any suggestions guys? Stay with NoFrillsSydney eBay store or go with DigiDirect. For a charity group so every dollar counts.

Just price matched this at JB HiFi - So happy right now! Cheers OzBargainers!

  • The new Fujifilm X100V is selling at $1,911.65. Anyone know if that is a good price?

    • Lowest price has been $1750 early this month

      • Thanks. I might hold out a bit then since there’s nowhere to travel now anyways

      • Where?

  • Amazing deal on the Olympus E-M1 Mark II with lens for $1,889.30 (https://www.digidirect.com.au/olympus-e-m1-mk-ii-with-12-200…). So close to pulling the trigger but can't justify. The lens itself is worth $900 easily so you're getting a flagship camera new with warranty for under a grand.

    • Did you pull the trigger?

      • Nope, but it was really tempting. I actually went down to the store and played around with it today. It was really light and nice to hold. Definitely a want but not a need (my old E-M5 is still going fine.) Leaving it for now but still think I might end up regretting not getting it.

          Doooo iiiit.

        • shot! Price went up already.

  • Officeworks priced matched for $645

  • Sony FE 85mm f/1.8 Lens was $679 two months ago https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/525684

and it is $900 now. https://www.digidirect.com.au/lenses/sony-fe-85mm-f-1-8-lens

    Crazy

    • I ordered it from them two months ago and I just got it yesterday

I know 15% not to shirk at, but their recent 20% ebay sale was better, with fewer exclusions too it seemed to me for the prods I was looking at

  • I ordered a camera during their recent ebay sale and received it in 2 days, so I'm prepared to give them another go. Ordered a Manfrotto Befree GT XPRO Aluminium Tripod with Ball Head this time, $433 price is really good. Also Peak Design Cuff III @ $46.
