  • Good deal but Dupe?

    • Still a deal

  • Link for Total Tools Deal - Total Tools

  • out of topic, but i wonder when will they have back the bosch 2 piece deal at $150 which i missed~ sigh~

    • +3

      Most likely never.
The brushless deal was better, in my opinion.

      • +1

        Agreed - much better deal.

    • +1

I think that one is gone. But the brushless hammer drill with 5AH battery still available $179 in Bunnings in case that helps.

      • ok thanks guys!

      • I never knew about that deal. Amazing price, considering that battery-alone costs $160!

Family members and myself have a ton of Bosch. But sister needs a basic, rarely used drill. Found no Ozito or Aldi stock, anyway. So giving her this, with a new 2ah, keep the 5ah for myself. WIN.

Nice to see a pack offered that doesn't pad it with largely useless tools like lights and radios - equivalent of cable ties in a 100 pc tool kit.

  • Mine arrived yesterday from total tools. Bought another 2 skins and got a free 4AH battery in the process with the Bosch Tax time promotion. Pretty stoked on the quality for the price.

    • +2

Just bought one from Bunnings after missing the last deal and was planning on flogging the grinder and SDS. After opening everything and having a play im loving the quality and detail, might keep the kit and sell my corded stuff.

    • +1

Which additional skins did you pickup? Would you recommend them? I’m straddled between Milwaukee and Bosch Blue atm.

  • +3

Sadly for this deal I'm more aligned to the DeWalt range but this offer looks excellent.

I particularly like the look of the combo Impact Driver & Impact Wrench GDX 18V-200. Nice to have effectively two tools in one without the use of adaptors.

    • Seems like such an obvious solution now, doesn't it? I wonder if it's patented.

  • You know one thing that would make this kit an instant-buy… It would be the plastic insert for the drill/driver/charger which neatly houses it within the l-boxx hard-case…. Currently you can buy a similar insert but it only fits a drill OR driver together with a charger… I just found this out yesterday when I received the plastic but it could only hold the single tool

    • +1

You can order half inlays which will fit the L-Boxx 136. I bought the $150 kit and asked the question directly to Bosch…before I realised the $150 kit was brushed (should have read the posts better). Sold the drills on and just kept the batteries and charger.

Part #1600A002WB is a half inlay that fits GSB and GDR models but may also fit the GDX. Maybe ping Bosch Australia for clarification or ask the question here?

      • Oh thanks Orrelljet. I wonder if I used two inlays, would the charger fit in the midddle as I think it looks like it might… hmm. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I just received two full size inlays this week from Total Tools which I purchased, but they don't fit the tools… I'll ping the Bosch people :)

  • Although I already have a multitude of Milwaukee and Makita tools and don't need this. I have to say this is an exceptional deal and that makes me want it haha!

  • Great deal rep. Do any of the current 18V Circular Saws work with the guide rail?

  • I'm waiting on Bunnings to call me to say it's ready for pickup….
    Ordered it last Friday!

  • Is this made in China?

    • Bit late but the two drills and batteries are Malaysia, the SDS is Germany and the Grinder and charger are China.

  • What's the market like for Bosch blue? Would I have any trouble selling the rotary hammer drill - for the right price obviously? Skin is $399 at TT, sell for maybe $289.

    • +2

I don't think you'll have any takers at $289 tbh. I think at $200 it might still take a while to sell…

      • +1

Thanks. Don't need or want one, ditto for other family members so can't gift it, but wouldn't mind the rest. Such is life.

  • Wish Bunnings did a trade in so I could offload their ozito for this

  • +4

I manage an independent distributor for Bosch and have these deals too, check your local businesses before going to TT or Bunnings. Don't forget to register your tools online to get 6 years extended warranty! Value of this is second to none.

    • Bosch… the brand..
that ruined their market share by removing their brand from the market so that they could re=align with selling through Bunnings and Total tools. Worked well for Dewalt with Flexvolt……

      • I see what you mean.

    • Where else (apart from TT and Bunnings) are they sold?

      • You can check where their distributors are on the Bosch Power Tools website.

        • Few that I checked using that yesterday had none or were builders co-ops, apart from the two mentioned. Btw Bosch you might want to fix your "postcode" search.

  • Question for the rep…

I've gone in circles to find a hidden answer. I'm a Bosch buyer, but not buying blindly.

A lot of marketing about free batteries for buying select skins. But you don't mention what equals what (?!)

It appears you need to buy them, start the claim online & only-then will your site show what you're getting. No thanks.

It's easy to show a small table with product codes.

  • Bought last one from Bunnings Altona North. Hope this one is good for DIY projects. I wonder any deals for circular saw and sander to complete my set. Any suggestions.
