    • You mean the price error from Dick Smith? That was not a legit deal.

      • +1

Yeh i think it was obtainable for a morning if pricematched at officeworks. Great thread.

        • Many was refused the pricematch so again price error is not a legit deal.

  • Anybody receive their AirPods from Monday yet? Are they supposed to be Malaysian versions?

    • they were last sale.

    • That's the ones they sell in the Apple store. It's been covered here many times. The Airpod Pros and keyboard covers I've bought from the Apple store are also from Malaysia.

      • It's been covered here many times

Seriously, really sick of Malaysian import questions each time the AirPods go on sale at eBay.

      • they aren't from Malaysia, my ipad magic keyboard packaging had Thai and Vietnamese printed. I think this must be the legal requirement to have certain messages or instructions printed on the box to be able to sell in that country. Apple just made one box fits all maybe?

    • Yep, just got mine delivered now - how do I tell if they're the Malaysian version?

      • how do I tell if they're the Malaysian version?

IT DOESN'T MATTER! Even Apple store sells the same AirPods. Just enjoy the new airpods you got for $99

        • Nice - I don't care to be honest, as long as they're not fakes ;)

    • +2

Dont worry mate, its all same version in AP including Australia.

      • Thanks, that's good to know :)

        • +1

They all came from the same factory in China.

  • +2

NICE got my Airpods delivered today
just waiting on the Airpods Pro to be delivered now!

    • +8

      Lucky bastard 👍

  • +2

Canceled my free ebay plus membership last night out of frustration but was still able to claim the airpods pro today. Can confirm you can purchase manually without a script and ebay plus isnt stripped if you cancel early.

    • Great.. looking for 2pm drop. Let's see if I can grab one. How quickly stock ran out in morning sake? Any hints..

      • +1
      • +7

Heres my hint list if its anything like Mondays airpods:

Its the same coupon code (so people like me cant double claim the deal): PMMOP86
        Its the same seller: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/124179997762

Have the coupon copied to your clipboard and refresh the page until there's a buy it now link, click it.
Paste in the coupon on the next page and click apply.
Then click pay now with your credit card or PayPal already linked.

Dont refresh anything or try with multiple windows as it'll just slow you down.

        goodluck!

Don't use Paypal, saved CC is faster.

          • @Speedster: +1 for this, my default is CC.

          • @Speedster: me too. I only use CC for this kind of "deal".
Won Airpods on Monday and Airpods Pro today, both at 10am drop

          • @Speedster: how do you setup cc payment? can only see Paypal

            • @Indomie5: You have to buy something else with CC first and choose to save it to your eBay account for future purchases.

  • Are the airpods pro better than galaxy buds / airpods 2?

  • +1

Is anyone using airpods pro with andriod can share their experience. Thanks

    • just sell them off fora galaxy buds +.

    • +1

I've tried out a friend's pair with Galaxy S9, had no problems, very smooth pairing and auto play/pause on taking out the buds from ears work, noise cancelling works well (I later heard it got gimped if you pair it with an iPhone and update the firmware, but this was before that).

  • Missed it again!!

  • +2

    Got one!

  • +1

Oooof they went quuuuuuuuuuuuuick! Wasn't buying as I got the lesser version Monday but wow they disappeared!

  • +1

FFS .. they logged me out, tripped me up adding to the cart.

  • +1

Lol. Just clicked the banner as the clock hit 2:00:01 and the item was “out of stock”. These sales are FOS

  • I made it to paypal screen and still sold out

    • pay with CC , its quicker

    • Don't use paypal, for the next drop, link up your credit card, its way faster like others have mentioned in here.

    • +1

You will never get it via paypal

  • gone in 23 seconds

  • Wow that was fast, said buyer didn't have stock and now cart is now empty. Maybe ebay has fixed that?

  • LOL Kept refreshing the page and clicked buy as soon as it was available, page started trying to load but nothing happened. I then clicked buy now again and got a sold out error.

  • +2

How is it gone in 20 seconds? Just howwwww?

    • +3

it was definitely not 20 seconds, more like 2 seconds

  • Ordered within 5 seconds but missed out again.

  • +7

cancelled my eBay plus. no more such shit again!

    • Did you get a gift card offer to continue yur ebay plus membership while you were cancelling it???

  • No luck lmao its in my cart but couldn't even checkout

  • +3

Had it in my cart. Spammed refresh. Never came available. It was sold out.

  • This is impossible, seriously. Kept refreshing, saw buy it now, click and OOS.. wtf?

  • Failed again, even though I started spamming confirm and pay from 1400…

  • STuck near checkout….. Have to try at 6!!

  • Got one! Just had to spam the Confirm button!!! Thanks OP

  • +3

Damn! Not even a bot, but I managed to grab a pair! Had a linked credit card already and the code in the checkout screen from this morning. Spammed the order button as soon as time ticked over - first few tries it didn't work, but on about the 5th click it went through. Hope this helps someone - good luck with the 6pm drop!

  • Refreshed the very moment it dropped, code in clipboard, everything loaded ready to go and missed it. Sold out within a few seconds.

  • this is like a lottery…

    • Its a games of thrones!

  • +4

Got one the second time. Can confirm - the only way possible to get an item the 2nd time is to already have it in the cart from previous round.

    • +1

Did you just continue pressing confirm and pay or did you need to refresh the checkout first?

      • No need to refresh. When you click Submit it auto checks stock then proceeds processing.

    • This! ^^^

    • 2nd time for (once for air-pods).. the item was in cart but gives me error instead of processing …. not sure what's wrong for me ..

      • Had it in cart since 10am but got kicked out at 2pm.

        • thats what happened to me on Monday too.

    • I was on the payment screen with code already applied from the previous round, clicked 'confirm and pay' at exactly 2pm (I had a separate screen opened with the exact time), and it didn't work :(

You need split second timing with this one

  • lol that was a joke, website became unresponsive/wouldn't refresh at 2 and when it did it was all gone. I even refreshed my cart and it never appeared in stock. I've always avoided these types of sales and now I know why, just a waste of time. Not even going to bother @ 6. Congrats to anyone who managed to get it

  • I was in the checkout page, won't let me to put in promo code

    • Same apply code button was greyed out for me?

  • spamming the pay button but unlucky. Oh well 6pm here I come lol

  • +3

It’s not a deal but a gamble to win against your valuable time.

  • Definitely sold out within 1 second.

  • +1

I think keeping it in your cart no longer works?

Because I had 2 screens, I was spam clicking the confirm and buy.

The other screen, I also refreshed and there was still airpods in stock but I didn't get it even though I was spam clicking.

    • What do you mean by spam clicking?

      • the "confirm and pay" button

        • same. didn't work for me.

          • @tinx: I used this tactic in the past and not once has it failed me.

The airpods deal and this one, it has failed me 5 times now.

            They must have changed something

  • Thanks OP definitely hard earned

  • +1

If we don't have it in the cart already it's pretty much over? (I don't have it in the cart)

    • Unfortunate to say, yes…

    • yeah from the comments I gather that if you are sitting on the actual listing page, you're already too late, you have to be already on the payment screen with your cursor on confirm pay.

  • Took me out of the Chippen window (cart)

  • +1

Tried spamming the confirm and pay button but nothing, got an out of stock error after page refreshed and now it's NOT in my cart. Tips for 6pm? How to get it back in the cart before 6?

    • no way, I am in same boat, a boat that has a crack in and no way to fix it.

    • You probably will be out of luck, basically if you don't have in your cart, its sorta unobtainable unfortunately. (Happened to me last eBay promo)

    • Load from your Chrome browser cache. Even with that method, you may still miss out because a lot of people will have them in their caches and will be doing the same.

If you are not ready to click Confirm (or whatever button you need to click at the very end) for 6PM run, you will simply have no chance. It gets harder in later sessions because more people have them cached. You must be at the final page BEFORE 6PM (because other people will be in that state to snatch them).

Good luck, I am not interested in AirPods 2 or AirPods Pro, plus I am low on cash. Hope you get one successfully.

    • Same here, never had an error that then removes it from the cart completely. Also means we're out of the 6pm sadly

      • It's already difficult if you had it cached, if you removed it out of the cart, unfortunately, you will most likely miss out at 6PM.

    • Based on the comments above - maybe ebay has somehow changed the checkout so that it gets removed if unsuccessful I too had it removed from being unsuccessful.

      • Well, if that's the case, you will have a better chance.

I have not participated this week at all. I was using browser caches last time (a few months ago). Still no luck. Other OZBers were just too quick.

        • +1

How does one load from the chrome browser cache? I don't see anything in my cache storage.

          • @exc3113nce: You just go to Chrome history list and load the correct page.

Seems like it is still working according to a comment below:

Anyway I had everything in cart and correct code already applied then I spammed the payment button a few secs before 2pm and scored one.

If you have removed it from the cart, it won't work. Basically, when you didn't get one from previous session but managed to put it in your cart, don't do anything on the cart. If 6PM is the final session and you still haven't figured it out yet, it will be very hard to get one. OZBers will mentioned all these many times now.

It's already hard if you used this method. It's impossible if you don't use it (with the exception of session 1, which gives people a more level playing field).

            • @netsurfer: Yeah just seems that most people that missed out this time got a "Something went wrong. Please try to check out again." and had the item kicked out of cart.

              • @exc3113nce: I think if you haven't got it in your cart, you actually want Add to Cart, rather than Buy It Now. That way, you can have it in your cart for the next round. Again, I have not participated this week so I cannot remember exactly.

However, based on the comment below (i.e. someone indicated he has got it to the checkout page), it appears people are doing it and 6PM drop will be over quite quickly. If you don't have it in your cart, your only hope is either a different seller or a different code. Both seem unlikely. Sometimes the deal isn't on at the right time, but it doesn't matter. People will be hammering that button like crazy.

For me, I reckon, due to my slow speed, I will need to script the whole thing to have a chance. Other people just out-click me consistently.

                • @netsurfer: just wanna point out - its not actually in your cart. If you keep browsnig ebay your cart says its empty. But you just have open that final check out page with the pods in view and code applied. Error says "not enough items for your selected quantity". I could keep pressing that confirm and pay button since 10 and keep getting that same error. Then come 2 they increased the quantity "got a notification that seller made changes to listing" and boom i got one.

                  • @Bigredkeg: I wrote go back to your browser history / cache initially. People kept saying they cannot find it so I was trying to speculate what caused it. I thought if someone has gotten to the right page and received an error, then they should be able to recall that page for the next session.

I recalled able to consistently go back to that page, but some people cannot for some reason. It doesn't really matter anyway. If they haven't figured out how to do it before 6PM, they won't have a chance.

              • @exc3113nce: Try go back to your browser history and load every single page around the time of the last session, hopefully, you can find that page.

Generally, you can keep hammer the page now to check since the quantity is 0. You should consistently get the same error as before.

    • Same here on chrome. luckily i managed to get it to checkout page on my phone for the 6pm drop hopefully.
