        Cooked a 6hr casserole already.

  • The Healthy Choice 6L Electric Slow/Pressure Cooker deal sold all 500 units in seven minutes.

The Braun ThermoScan 7 IRT6520 Digital LCD Ear Thermometer for Kids & Adults deal is currently active:
    $49 (normal price $154.95)

    Code:PFFSC15

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/303587115933 265 sold out of 600 @10.23am

Both these deals were activated at 10.00am

  • Hopefully It's as good as my Instant Pot.

  • +1

Just missed out on the slow cooker.. I hesitated and wasn't sure whether it was worth getting.

    • +11

Please handover your ozbargain licence. You're supposed to first buy and then figure out if you need it.

    • +2

It's a good deal but the rrp is misleading. It's been $50 from catch previously.

    • It's ebay plus so you can return it for free if you change your mind :)

      • Yeah I considered this but this deal swayed me into it still not being worth getting.. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/543047

        Still a great deal though!

        • I had a cheaper one like the Healthy choice one, but the online recipes never turned out right b/c it was listed for instantpot :(
Ended up getting the IP. Honestly they're "just" electric pressure cookers at the end of the day, but boy was it nice to just follow the instructions without tweaking anything lol.

    • It went quick. Don't feel bad. I almost lost it when trying to checkout with CashRewards

      • +1

Cashrewards wont provide any cash back if a coupon (that isn't on their list) is used.

  • +1

    Grabbed the thermometer. Thanks OP.

  • can adult use the thermometer? the package looks like its for a baby

  • The Healthy Choice 6L Electric Slow/Pressure Cooker is currently listed on eBay for $109 with 20% off for eBay Plus members (using code: PMON20) which is $87.20 final price.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Healthy-Choice-6L-Electric-Slow-…

Not worth it for me as we have two slow cookers and a pressure cooker as well.

    • +1

      It was $29.

      • -1

Yep, and I got one at that price as a gift. All good.

  • +3

Checked this morning on Ebay and thermometer was supposed to be at 4pm.
Luckily I always checked OzBargain as they changed it to 10am!

    • +3

Yeah, what a surprised move… luckily I logged on and was just looking around, then spotted the thermometer and got one. EBay gotta be better than this, it's hard to get as it is (ok, not in this case), and changing things last minute or without any notice is just going to make things worse.

This listing seems to be so cheap ?

    • I did see that one before, but I think it's for a case only and also posting from China, probably have to wait years to arrive.

  • Hi guys so turns out my family already owns two slow cookers but I didn't know prior to ordering it, am I able to cancel order with no repercussion?

    • You can contact ebay live chat to cancel it for you.

      • THANK YOU KOBH

        • yw

      • I almost went for the thermometer then I remember we have 3 at home already. It's hard to resist a bargain even when you knew you'd just put it away unused for years.

        • +1

I really thought I was doing my family a favour by buying them a slow cooker for a bargain but all they wanted me to do was cancel/return it.

          • +1

@yeetus: You can hide it in a corner of the garage and bring it out a few years later and prove them wrong! :D

            • @DarkOz: You will be cooked slowly inside thinking all the time "what if they find it"

  • Bought the thermometer as a gift

  • +3

There's going to be a lot of grumpy people who log on at 3:55pm only to find the Thermometer sold out.

    • +1

I would have been one of them, if I have not checked comments of this deal.

      • +2

Yep, I just refreshed to see if the slow cooker had sold out (had no interest in buying) and noticed the thermometer deal was live.

    • SOLD OUT so quick XD

    • Ah glad I'm not going crazy, I thought it was supposed to go off at 4pm and yes I've missed out. That's the way the cookie crumbles, disappointed but it is what it is.

  • eBay has gone super shitty lately.

  • With 500 units of the watch and 300 of the AirPods pros can somebody advise me how difficult it would actually be for someone like myself to obtain I'm not currently a eBay plus user

    • +2

if you are going to get ebay plus just for this don't do it. 900 units AirPods 2nd gen deal in 3 seconds gone. at 4-5 seconds I pressed confirmed and pay, got to processing payment screen but failed at 7th second. so very difficult.

      • Thanks for the response I thought maybe the ones in the past were only like 100 units.

  • Literally sold out when I had one in my cart and as I clicked pay now….

  • +1

Ah, thought the thermometer went off at 4pm and I really wanted one. :(

    • Anyone have a screenshot of this with the 4pm launch time? eBay are denying it.

      • No, sorry, can't even remember where I saw it.

      • +5

Not sure if this is any good for you. But I happened to take a screenshot of this yesterday.
        https://i.imgur.com/1RQ5cjZ.jpg

        Hope this helps!

        • Thanks champ!

          • +1

@gamemaster: A few others and I happened to be talking about it yesterday (shows up in page 2 of these comments). Another screenshot if you need, though similar to gmeno's it has no surrounding context. Might help that I had uploaded to imgur yesterday instead of today.

            https://imgur.com/a/Yopa4Or

If you find the chat, we also speak about the thermometer also being a Saturday release one point in time.

And apparently I just can link you to it! https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/8873082/redir

            • @Gnilgorf: eBay are disputing the screenshots, claiming it's not from their website. Unbelievable.

              • +1

                @gamemaster: ಠ_ಠ

                Try this (snapshot from Wednesday):
                https://web.archive.org/web/20200617123944/https://www.ebay.…

There aren't any snapshots from yesterday when it was posted for 4pm release today, but maybe it'll show up later on the website.

                • +2

@Gnilgorf: Thanks. I am now off the chat with eBay. They claim they will investigate the matter.

It's not nice being accused of lying (as well as the OzBargain community) which is essentially what eBay support staff did today. I placed the onus back onto eBay and asked for provide proof of advertisements for a 10AM AEST launch for today, they couldn't produce anything.

                  • @gamemaster: I've already been on chat and got this response
Jonamie was the rep I was talking to
Right. This has been advertised today at 4pm but the item already went out of stock now. Our management team would need to investigate further about this

                  • @gamemaster: No worries. Best of luck trying to sort this out. Dealing with ebay support can be a massive PITA.

Curious what the outcome will be though.

  • +2

Guys don’t waste your time. They just want you to go onto their app/website and sign up for plus. This is just an advertisement technique.

  • Man ebays bait and switch working like a charm.

After missing out on airpods, people are really lapping up these piss weak deals with no name brand slow cookers lol.

  • +5

Just got an email from eBay that as a goodwill gesture they will be honouring the $99 AirPods deal next week.

PS. I was one of the buyer who received successfully message and then the order was subsequently cancelled.

    • I also received an email! .. as a gesture of goodwill we will be honouring this deal for you. Please look out for an email from eBay next week with further instructions on how to redeem your $99 AirPods

    • I don't know if I got the confirmed or not that day. I was texting and then checked my bank account. When I went back to eBay I checked my purchase history and it said paid. Then it disappeared. I bet they don't honour mine.

      • Go to your ebay page 'purchase history' scroll down to the very bottom to a section called 'Returns and cancelled orders' if it is there then you are 'one of us' and should get it. (check your emails by the way I know of 3 people (inc me) at my work now who all got the 'snagged' order… wonder how many they are going to do?

        • Yep found it there.
This order was not successful. Order cost has not been included in the total amount.

        • I am in the same boat but no email! Maybe they are only doing a certain number of people…

    • Same, i also got this email from eBay.

    • Did you guys get the email because first you got the message “Thanks your order was placed!”, then “Order was not successful, order cost has not been included in the total amount” in red banner?
I don’t have the email and that happened to me on the first round on the 1st of June, not the 900 drops one two days ago

      • I think the emails only going out for 900 Units one

    • I didn't receive the email and the cancelled orders are also now gone from my Purchase History. I have screenshots though.

Edit: Cancelled orders are there, my bad. Seems it just took some time to load!

    • I also received the email from Ebay on 19th. Said they will honour the Airpods 2 purchase and wait for email instruction on how to claim it next week.

Tue, June 30 Beats Powerbeats Pro AU$199

  • +1

Got email from eBay that they will honor the deal.

  • Guess where i'll be on Wednesday, June 24. Definitely not on eBay….

  • -3

Yep , I got the email too. However I don't believe they would just give it on Wednesday. Most likely they will make another 99 deal and make us fight for it in the pit . Tbh I had enough of this

    • +2

Nah. They will just give you a code or something.
I suppose they would just reduce available units for next week or the week after and reallocate these units to you guys.

  • airpods gen 2 dropping once again on the 29th

  • -2

    Wednesday, June 24: Apple AirPods Pro - $249 (was $399)(ebay.com.au) - 300 units available

hahaha if 900 units sold out in LITERALLY less than 30 seconds…. i was waiting at 4.59 the other deal, and it ticked over to 5.00pm and it was sold out.

    • -1

Cause your too slow. Just cause ur not fast enough its not fair to neg an actual deal.

    • If you didnt even see it becoming available I think your ref clock is inaccurate. Go to time.is and wait on the page.

  • Is it confirmed that there will only be 300 units for the day of the Air Pods Pro? 3 drops of 300? Or 1 drop of 900 like the Air Pods the other day?

    • Most likely 3 drops of 100 units.

      • Open slather to double dipping accounts now

  • I'm looking at the Apple Watch deal. How does the process work? There's only 500 units so I don't want to miss out!

    • +1

Not too different from any other deal as you just need to be quick and have credit card details saved on you eBay account and press 'Buy Now' instead of add to cart.

      • How do you apply the code through buy now?

        • Buy Now takes you to the checkout screen and you apply the code there before submitting the order.

          • @Sainter4Life: Thanks. I was thinking that would go straight through without being able to apply a code.

            • +1

@CookieT: to save the card info, try to make one simple purchase first, like $1 ones.

  • +1

Just wondering how is the Tab A 10.1"?

  • -1

does anyone know the discount code for the deals today?

  • +1

The link to the Glasslock containers is wrong, it should be: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/123778713558
    Code: PFFYH05

    • +1

Whoops! Sorry. And in my dumbness, I tried posting it here before buying it and it’s gone!!!

      • +1

No the one in your comment was actually right! I was referring to the OP link :)

  • +1

Riedel glasses link is also incorect..
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/254625925422
    code - PFFWL11

    • Thanks.. Nice price on the glasses. Just gotta stop the wife from breaking them now

  • +1

Reidel glasses is https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/254625925422 Code is PFFWL11

  • Glass containers all gone

    • Anyone think the wine is worth it?

      • At $5.58 per bottle (delivered) I decided to give it a go - if it's too ordinary/sh.t then I will use it for cooking!!

edit: It's a McLaren Vale Shiraz Grenache 2017, so am hoping it will be at least reasonable initially and maybe better later on.

      • Couldn't find any reviews. Problem is it's 12 of the same wine so if you don't like it you're stuck with it. Maybe if there were 2 or 3 of you sharing it isn't such a big risk.

        • +1

I had to dig a bit, but here you go.

Pretty run-of-the-mill wine by the looks. Probably worth the price though.
