    They need to come out with a brush head for carpet for the V10 and V11.
    I doubt the paint roller is going to pick too much up.

    I have used v10 for 2 months. It works perfectly in the first 10 to 15 min. But the battery will quickly get hot and drained out after 10min at max mode. The vendor has sent me another one as I suspected it is a faulty one. But the new one only improves the working time at max level from 5 min to 10 Or 15 min.
    To compare, I got a 2yr old Dyson DC58 but it can only last 15min nowadays at max mode. The expensive models of Dyson vacuum may have better battery performance but you will have to pay triple of the price.

          1. dysons rated time for v6 is 6 or 7 minutes on max or less with full working battery i think

          2. dyson recommends using max only on carpet..

          battery only supposed to last 2 years …

          the 58 rarely lasts more than 8 minutes on max and not continuously

      Hi, Max mode will produce 22,000pa suction, it will run out battery about 10 mins and it is normal. There are 3 different modes, Eco-mode or standard mode and max mode, You can choose different modes with different surfaces. It will last 60 mins for eco-mode. When you compare DC58, you need to check its suction power.

        It's called T20. Upgrade to the V11. Ironically the ad for it popped up while I was browsing this post. The spec looked good for the price. It's a pre-order though, scheduled to ship in Oct. It's through Indiegogo but by all accounts it's direct from the company and production ready. If you search 'Indiegogo dreame T20' into Google it should be first link

        It's actually a lot better deal. The T20 is three models ahead, more powerful, has removable battery, two in one carpet/hard floor head and comes with flex hose. There's 2 years warranty direct from the manufacturer and it was only $303 delivered.

        The hard floor/carpet head combo from this deal is $289 so it was only a little bit more. Cheapest deal for their current latest model the V11 is $399.

        Only downside is it's not out till Oct and while they say it's guaranteed to ship in Oct there might be delays but I was ok with that

        from what i understand, none of these dreame vacuums are technically xiaomi, as there is no xiaomi branding on them and xiaomi have their own branded vacuums. however xiaomi is heavily invested in the company

      Wow that is a fantastic deal, thanks for posting it. I was seriously considering biting the bullet on a V11 but a removable battery is a gamechanger for total lifetime use (assuming the rest of the vac holds up).

      Only question is why does a Xiaomi backed division need to crowdfund an initial production run…?

        This is my first time too but they say it’s guaranteed shipping.

        Given the fact that Dreame have successful business with proven vaccum cleaners v9/10/11, I believe they will deliver. According to their website they have million active customers worldwide, so sure they have money to make based on trust they gained. Anyway, they have refund option until 16th October if things change.

        70mai is another brand under Xiaomi for dash cams and that company also has history of successfully delivering their successful models such as Dash Cam Pro, Dashcam lite, Dashcam A800 etc.. from indiegogo campaigns

      I'm in the same boat but very different opinion.

      In the end I'm perfectly happy with the price I paid for the V9 and it does everything we want it to, so for me it's a non issue.
      If I continually look at everything I've bought and has since been superseded or price had dropped I'd always be worried about buying anything. :)

    I purchased the V9 with carpet head and all other attachments during last offer. It arrived yesterday and on first use, inspection, I couldn't be happier. It is excellent and each head is worth it. The bug catcher head actually really works, to my utter surprise. The carpet head is well worth it as the hard surface general purpose head is great but the carpet head works better on…. carpets. It appears to all be well designed and built. Battery seems to be strong, mostly need level 2 or 3 power for most cleaning jobs. This will replace my old Dyson DC31 and even my Miele big heavy clunker for just about everything. The Miele will come out only when I need super sucking power for longer duration. It's a good buy, have no idea how it compares to V10 or V11 but I'm happy.

    I got this v9 for few months, and Dyson V10 for around 1-2 year. Dyson is more powerful and battery last longer for the price 2+times over this V9. But this V9 can do the jobs that Dyson can do almost identical. So if you have the budget, get Dyson V10 or V11. Bargain? This V9.

    Definitely happy with my V9P. Also the seller had no issues with a warranty replacement on the soft brush head which stopped working after a few months; so that's a double bonus in my opinion.

    Ordered V9P with the head combo through this deal on 6/Sep and received it on 9/Sep via ExpressPost. First impressions are pretty good. Ran it through carpet and hard floor on medium setting. Unit had good suction power on both surface types. Charging battery from empty to full took approx. 3hrs (minor gripe but can't complain for the awesome price).

    I can't decide between the V9P soft roller/carpet head and V10.
    I have mostly floorboards and tiles in my place, with 2 small rugs. Am I going to regret not having the carpet head for my rugs if I get the V10?
    I would like the hose extension which I know comes with the V10 and not the V9P but i can add it as an accessory to the V9P for the same price as the V10.
