  • that i3 be like 10% faster than i5-9300H in my gaming machine

also 570 rx should be faster than 1650 in same rig

perfect machine for a lot of 1080p gaming

  • Great deal for a built and stress-tested basic gaming PC, Luke. What's your lead time like on this one?

In the event that we're talking 2 weeks+, are their any plans for any more of your express pre-built deals?

    • +1

The regular 14 business day estimate applies, but systems are shipping well inside that as its not peak season. We're running TF Express deals when we can guarantee dispatch within 3 days and sufficient specific stock on hand, but most people seem to be understandably holding off in anticipation for RTX 3000, or at least to see what pricing will be anyway.

        Thanks, ordered one.

Would have paid for an upgrade too, if one was available for more RAM and/or faster timings.

        • Thanks for your order!

          • @luketechfast: No Luke, thank you

          • @luketechfast: Hi Luke,

Have belatedly realised that the default H410 motherboard does not support USB3 ports.

Any chance you can advise what board the Intel B460 MATX Motherboard typically comprises?

            Thanks

            • +1

@UncleRico: It does have both a USB 3.0 header on the board (check the Internal IO section of the specs page for the front panel, and 2 x USB 3.0 ports on the rear IO as well. The B460 has all of these as well.

  • Hey Luke, tempted by the deal but not keen on the Allied 550w PSU, what brand are the 650w/750w upgrades currently? Any other reliable PSUs I could get it replaced with? Thanks

    • The 650 is the Gigabyte P650B, the 750 Gold can vary - we are currently using InWin and Deepcool.

  • Board has been shipped! Thanks Luke.

Luke and other tech-heads - how picky are H410 boards with RAM?

Am I likely to have any issues if I just buy any other stick of 2666Mhz RAM to go with this? Or should I try and match the same brand, or even start from scratch with 2 x 8Gb pair of matched, faster RAM?
