  • bought a 860 evo 1T days ago. Want to buy this 970 evo plus. Can I claim cashback for more than 1 product?

  • The Samsung deal doesnt list Futu online? https://www.samsung.com/au/offer/ssd-upgrade-cashback/

  • Awesome price OP!! I snagged up similar deal with the eBay 10% off promo but that's with the cashback.

We are still waiting for the 980's to be released.

    • checkout the sabrent rocket plus. even faster and comes in 2TB

      • Especially if you have PCIe4.0 :)

      • +1

Personally i would consider that stability and safety of your data and documents are of the toppest priority instead of speed. Sabrent's qlc is way more expensive than Samsung's tlc and qlc's life is much shorter than tlc

        • Personally i would consider that stability and safety of your data and documents are of the toppest priority instead of speed.

If you are relying on drive reliability to protect your data, you're doing it wrong.

    • 980 ftw

  • Awesome, thanks OP!

  • Is it possible to claim the cashback if you use Afterpay?

  • Good deal, very tempted to get the 2TB from CA deal as it has better storage to $ ratio? Would be nice in my new build.

  • Hey everyone whats the big difference between EVO and EVO PLUS? as i have a 500gb 970 EVO (non plus) and thinking of upgrading 👍 will be my main Windows10 drive

edit: also worth paying ~$50+ more over the Kingston A2000 deals posted here on Ozbargain? Id love your thoughts 👍

    • +1

Only upgrade if you need more storage, otherwise don't bother, highly unlikely you'd ever notice the difference, which is just the Evo Plus being slightly faster basically.

      • Yeah my main reason for upgrade is the extra 500gb space but was interested too know someone's opinion about speed and the EVO PLUS might use better memory chips that last long

I paid $119 over 2 years back for my 500gb so this 1TB actually works out cheaper per 500gb

        Thanks for your opinion 👍

  • I bought this from 264.65 deal… Keep dropping so I can get 1 more

How do you claim the cashback?

any tangible difference between this vs sn550?

  • bought A2000 this morning.

    this or A2000?

    • If you don't care $$$, of course 970 evo plus.

  • cheers OP, bought this for a new build
