Ryzen 7/9 Gigabyte RTX 3090 Desktop PCs: $3999 / $4249 @ TechFast

770
GIGA-3090-LAUNCH

Party like it's 39-…yeah doesn't have the same ring to it. Nevertheless, once again in partnership with Gigabyte here is our RTX 3090 productivity and ultra high end gaming desktop PC! Obviously it's a lot of scratch, but this level of processing power hasn't been seen before in consumer-grade PCs.

GPU allocation is the same as the 3080 deal - limited quantities of Gigabyte Eagle OC and Gaming OC cards are arriving in both October and November, so select the GPU month you want/is available, and the PCs will be built as soon as possible once they have arrived.

Ryzen 7 3700X/ Ryzen 9 3900X RTX 3090 Desktop PCs: $3999 and $4249 after GIGA-3090-LAUNCH

  • AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8c/16t or Ryzen 9 3900X 12c/24t processor
  • Gigabyte Eagle OC or Gaming OC RTX 3090 24GB graphics cards
  • Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite WiFi ATX motherboard
  • 16GB 3200MHz RAM (brand/model may vary - upgrade options available on site)
  • 480GB 2.5" SSD (brand/model may vary - upgrade options available on site)
  • Gigabyte Aorus AP850W 80+ Gold fully modular power supply
  • Deepcool Matrexx 55 Mesh 4F RGB ATX case

I have added November Gigabyte cards to this deal, so jump in line for the earliest possible delivery:

Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming PCs [B550/750W Gold]: $1995 [R5-3600] / $2195 [R7-3700X] + Delivery @ TechFast

Of course lots of people will be wanting an update on their 3080 orders - while I can't provide individual updates via PM or on this thread, motherboards and power supplies are in and September cards have started arriving, so systems will start shipping from today. More are incoming next week. Please remember that it was the cards arriving in September, not a promise of the system shipping in September. They will ship as soon as they are ready and it won't be long. As with the rest of the country, there's no date on October cards arrival dates just yet.

Lots of upgrade inquiries via our sales and support emails too - we're working through the inboxes and will reply as soon as we can. Your patience and support is appreciated as always!

Cheers
Luke

So you're saying we can forgo the joy of building and selecting our own parts for a $37 saving; have you seen how popular Lego is on here?

      • +5

it's not a saving anyway, GPU MSRP is $2840, 3700x is ~$440 very regularly

      • have you seen how popular luketechfast is on here?

        • I lold!

          • +20

@MuddyClear: Same old same old, Bongo. I'm just going to continue to call you out. Fancy saying you think we're OK.You take every opportunity, on our deals and even others' deals, to discourage people from buying from us.

            • @luketechfast: Hahaha damn he's at it again!
I called him out last time as I was starting to notice a trend.

Would love to know his motives!

            • -1

@luketechfast: Haters going to hate. Skinny margins in my view.

      • +3

yeah I hate these pizza joints taking out all the fun of making your own pizza…oh wait, I still can and can't you order these preassembled or is that forgoing the joy of looking for the cheapest parts from different retailers?

        • +3

cheapest parts and you still need to pay for shipping, drive to the different stores. I value time and money, so yeh not really that cheap if you had to source cheapest parts from different sellers, you might do it once when you are young, but now I am older I value time.

  • +17

Great deal as always. However, after reading the review for 3090, I am more in favor of 3080 deal. $3000 3090 is nuts.

    • Agree.. it's $1,000 to $1,500 MORE for a 20% increase… and for those that use CAD and rendering programs, it's not really that big a jump.. the Titan is still better despite being 2 years old in those specs. Silly.

  • -6

This looks very imbalance for a 3090 build, last gen CPU, low memory and average quality storage,

also MSRP for the Ventus is $2840

    • +17

Link to purchase the current Ryzen?

      • +11

The user is obviously from the future with this knowledge.

      • -2

this pc is due for delivery in what end of October, and Ryzen new gen is announced 7 Oct, so yeah, I'll make sure to link you before this gets delivered

        • +2

          "announced"

Thank you for your offer, please send me a link in the future when you know the information that is then current.

If an unreleased product hasn't even been officially announced, nobody can buy or order one and nobody knows the price or final specs it's hardly a "current" product.

Hard to imply a business stop producing their product (especially in the current climate) while they they wait for official word of an updated component which nobody knows the official price, availability or specs.

          • -2

@buffalo bill: Well I'm just saying if you're spending this much on a graphic card with significant diminishing returns in many aspects, you wouldn't pair it with something that is going to be outdated by the time you receive your pc

And yeah maybe the performance leaps,or pricing is not spectacular, but I think we can all agree that from the rtx 3000 launch, anything is possible.

So sure you can buy this CPU now, just hope that you won't be in the shoes of the people that bought 2080s in August

Look at all the techfast deals in the lead up to the 3000s launch, they were all a flop when the new card "announced"

            • +2

@ln28909: Just let it go man.. lol you will not win this fight… :P

              • -1

@scud70: lol for their sake, I hope there's not a leap in performance or price decrease, feel like a robber when bought a 2080 super off a dude for $1000 less than what he paid for it two weeks beforehand

                • @ln28909: what the heck did he pay ? i know the 2080Ti dropped about 1K but the Supers were only in low to mid 1k's as it is…

                  • @scud70: he paid $1599 MSRP for the Strix OC, I paid $700, so actually only $900 off, still that's just savage

  • Hey Luke!
Nice deal for those wanting this beast.
I've purchased one of the 3080 eagle October systems. Just wondering if you had an update on the arrival of those cards. More specifically, when in October (if you have a more specific eta).

    Cheers!

    • +4

Hey Shaunzki, I've addressed October cards delivery in the post, but tl;dr - as with the rest of the country, we're awaiting dates ourselves.

      • +1

Oh my bad! Guilty of going straight to the specs! Cheers!

  • +3

Luke I'd like to question these seemingly contradictory comments of yours:
    From this deal:

Please remember that it was the cards arriving in September, not a promise of the system shipping in September. They will ship as soon as they are ready and it won't be long.

And your comments from the 3080 deal

Limited quantity of Gigabyte Eagle OC cards arriving in September (scheduled for next week)

We have effectively eliminated our backlog due to a quiet month with everyone holding off. As soon as cards arrive, systems start shipping.

It's going to really hurt to be expecting systems to be very much progressed throughout the start of the week ready for GPUs arriving by today, but the chance of still waiting another week for dispatch and possibly another week again for delivery. Would appreciate some clarification around this.

    • +8

Hey Hinee, some cards arrived yesterday, some today, some more are coming next week - it's a generational launch time and cards come from interstate, so they have to get to us and we have to work with them. This is the first time we've laid hands on these cards - we're working through the best way of testing, packing, and shipping them. It will be irresponsible to just bung them in and ship them out. But as I've said, cards have arrived and systems will start shipping.

      • +1

        Understood. Expectations tempered.

        • +4

          Hang in there!

          • @luketechfast: did you pre-build the majority of systems and are just waiting for the GPU to finish them all?

what state are you in? curious why you don't have this info on your site.

            • @Antikythera: This post only advises that PSU&Mobo are done. TF are in Adelaide.

    • +2

From my experience, dispatch time was within 5 days of order being confirmed and parts in stock. AusPost usually takes 5 business days to post. Can’t complain as these systems are bargains and many people will be purchasing them.

      • Aus post have been horrific lately… 3 weeks to go 20klms for one parcel… ended up going from seller in melbourne to sydney and back to melbourne 4 times.

      • AusPost usually takes 5 business days to post.

More like 5 business days to scan/update the status.

  • +7

    Perfect for NAS setup!

But does it run minecraft in 8K?

    • +1

Haha. How detailed do you want the pixels to be? Wonder if they can picture-in-picture on those pixels.

  • This case looks really nice

  • Is it better to get 2 PCs with rtx 3080 or 1 PC with rtx 3090?

  • So which were the cards everyone was screamin "wait for the new series - they will be $800" ???

      RTX 3070 - mid October

      • Do you have any insider secrets about any possible 3060 or even 3050?

        • Everyone knows a 3060 and a 3080 with double the ram exist from like twenty leaks from diff companies at this point.

  • +5

    hardware ubboxed has the 3090 7% faster then a 3080 at 1440P and 11% faster at 4k

The 3090 is 99% pointless and when the 20GB version of the 3080 comes out it will be 100% and only people who want it for bragging rights will be buying it.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTs1gHqvcjs

    • +12

lol if you're buying the 3090 not for gaming but productivity tasks, it will pay itself off

if you're buying it for gaming, then obviously you don't care about money, so performance gain is still performance gain

you're not one of those target markets, that's why it's pointless to you

      • +1

Even then only very specific productivity tasks can get close to utilising the 24gb of memory will get much benefit - so perhaps if you're an animator this might help.

The hardware unbox review touched on a blender comparison and that didn't have much difference between the 3080 and 3090.This really is just for enthusiasts who want the best and are prepared to pay the big bucks. For anyone at all concerned about performance per dollar then this is a terrible buy, even for productivity unless you can actually make use of the extra memory.

  • Hi Op any chance we can swap the MSI case to this one? Purchased the 3080 system

    • No sorry, only enough were available to dedicate to 3090 systems.

  • Any potential to upgrade the MSI case from the 3080 deal to the Deepcool Matrexx 55 Mesh Case?

    • +2

No sorry, only enough were available to dedicate to 3090 systems.

$3000 for 3090 is ridiculous pricing, won't be buying 1 on principal, Techfast deal or no :/ epeen is alive and well, and we pay dearly for it

    • +1

I have to agree with you.

  • now just need the 8K TVs

    • just get 4 4K monitors.

  • Looks like Superman (Henry Cavill) upgraded his computer a little too soon.

Nah he can sell his assembled machine for 10 times the price he paid for

  • Upvote for your work Luke.
This gives me idea of the price (with a breakdown!) for all RX30 series gaming rigs.

Appreciate your time and effort here. Hopefully they are selling well!

Linus says CPU will bottleneck. You're better off getting RTX 3080 if you want to put 3700X

Why is memory always 16GB? This is 2020,
And I’m expecting 64GB by now

3090 with Ryzen? Prepare for noticeable CPU bottlenecks. Cmon Luke, how long do we have to wait for some Intel deals with 30xx GPUs?

    • And the award for the most sweeping statement of 2020 goes to…

    • I'm confused by the downvotes. Does anyone here doubt that Ryzen 3700x and 3900x are undermatched when it comes to the 3090? Check out Linus's review of the 3090.

  • Hey Luke. I've emailed an inquiry about this PC. Can you guys get back to me 😊

  • "Gigabyte Eagle OC RTX 3090 24GB Graphics Card - October" still available to order - is it safe to say there's plenty of stock for the 3090 available at Techfast? Will there be an update on this deal for the AMD 5000 series CPUs?

    • +1

I will be adding Zen 3 chips to this deal listing, yep, but the price will be the same as if you buy a Zen2 system now and request us to hold the build until Zen 3 release, and just upgrade the order via invoice. Cards for our October allocation are on the way to us and we can order more where required.

      • Thanks Luke!
